Listening to you talk about Jerry Rice had me feeling nostalgic for a legendary contemporary of his, and my fav RB of all time, Emmitt Smith. I looked up his records to see if anyone currently playing is even close, and the only one is Derrick Henry being about 90 TD away from Smith's 164. I'm sure you've got all kinds of projects lined up but it would be cool to see your take on Smith and how special he is.

Emmitt smith wasn't even the best RB in his era though. Put Barry Sanders on those cowboys team and he could have the all time record. Not that Emmitt Smith wasn't great, but only Cowboys fans would call him a GOAT.

thank you for this. i am a draft geek and i love debating / discussing with people what round is the best to draft certain positions.
i used chat gpt to analyze the last 20 Super bowls and AFC/NFC championship games. you will realize what positions you have to draft high and which ones you can draft lower.
you’re not gonna find WR later in the draft but you will find interior oline.

Rice was just on another plane and smooth like floyd Mayweather. You don't need to moss someone or Tyson knockout someone if you get 100-1000-10 year in and out. Which is an understatement for rice

The HoF isn't a popularity contest. A lot of people got screwed over because they had off field issues. Owens and Moss come to mind. No reason they shouldn't have been 1st ballot. If his stats are HoF worthy then Brown should get in. Personally feel like he needed 1 or 2 more great seasons to be inducted. Maybe one day he gets in hell Eli Manning will get in and he isn't HoF worthy to me if they put that guy in they might as well put Brown in on the 5th go.

My theory is that once a WR becomes one of the highest paid on his team or in the league they don’t make it to the Super Bowl. Also, in the last 20-30 years, how many first round WRs have made the Super Bowl? The number is really small.
