He looks powerful and yes, he might be averaging 3+per carry but he never really breaks out. He seems to have small field vision and never really gets the big runs.
Tell me you dont know anything about football without telling me you dont know anything about football. A bunch of these runs are late in the game when Mcdaniels shit offense is already down big late and he's just running Zamir to end the game.The defense knows Jimmy is handing the ball off to Zamir 3 times in a row. Kind of hard to run like that. Its not until he was on the field with AOC late in the season when the defense didnt know what was coming. His first 2 years as a starter is going to be better than Josh Jacobs first 2 years no doubt in my mind.
You can see early in the season…he wasn’t able to establish a rhythm. When you only get 1-2 carries, you just can’t find the flow of the game. Once he got a chance to consistently carry the ball, the skillset showed itself.
Such a goat for this man, thank you. As a Raider fan and a Josh Jacobs fan this really helps me cope lmao

He's explosive when there's a hole to run through, but he's definitely not gonna create his own running lanes or improvise to find one. He'd be an amazing system runningback, but not a superstar by any stretch. Definitely need to keep him for a 2 back attack. He'd need to be rb2 for sure
Yall tripping .. I’m not against drafting a running back but it’s not a need .. this O LINE WAS terrible and our fullback was bad too. A lot of these play they gave up on and the line got pushed back. On top of that van rotten is fucking terrible.
I got faith in White, my mindset about the decision to let go of JJ is cause we are gonna focus on more passing this yr. We will get another RB in the draft but our run game is gonna consist of smash and dash.

Don't know why everyone is bashing on zamir, when he finally got the full workload he was averaging 4.7ypc. Jacobs this past year, 3.45. Yeah he's not as shifty as Jacobs, but he's just as powerful and is gonna get there with more reps and hopefully if they bolster the o-line in the draft. Not saying he's gonna be 2022 Jacobs but he could very easily be a sneaky breakout this upcoming season

He will be alot better in the zone blocking scheme but we still need to draft a rb. I like jordan from Louisville. Also noticed Parham, James, and #70 getting bullied alot. I hope James gets better causy I did not want to see him brought back.

This is what I've been telling everyone and nobody is listening! Sure if the o line gives him a hole to run through he may take off, but if not he just runs into his blockers and goes down! He doesn't try to make ppl miss like Josh Jacobs

Ball security is an issue, legs stop when he’s hit and not explosive. Man if this is it we gonna miss JJ.

I’m talking fundamentals of the running back. Keep your legs churning when you get hit, bad ball security is a habit not easily broken and explosiveness as runner just is. Hope I’m wrong not rooting against him. He looks like a power runner to me. I’m also worried about predictability. Like how we were. It’s one thing to take what we want when we want but when they’re stacked in the box on us and we’re running anyway, that’s not a recipe for success..
If this is all we can gather for dude it's obvious not wanting to pay JJ was wrong unless we're drafting a RB which I doubt unless it's very late

RBs are easy to find. An average RB will perform at a high level if your Offensive line is elite

People comparing jj to zamir as if jj has been productive, which he hasnt. Jj did HORRIBLE this year stat wise. What needs work is our o line, without a good o line a rb cant be productive. Jj and zamir are also 2 different kinds of backs. Zamir is a power runner, jj isnt. JJ is also more developed because hes been in the league longer, so of course jj is gonna look better. Give Zeus a whole season like we did with jj. I have faith in the kid

I listened to all the Kyren hate last year he’s slow he doesn’t break free terrible vision seems like a lot of the same talk around this guy so I will be sending 3rds anywhere I can for him maybe even late 2nds
