When we're talking about being Chosen or not chosen to be saved right here we're talking about the deep things of God. As for as Chosen to go to Hell it isn't God's wish for the individuals to go to Hell but again we're talking about the deep things of God something we're not going to ever understand. For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith-and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God- 9 not by works, so that no one can boast. Ephesians 2:8-9

Default position? I thought hell was created for Satan and the fallen angels, not mankind. Man goes there by rejecting the sacrifice Christ made on thier behalf.
It’s disappointing if this is what the channel is moving towards. I don’t usually comment, but I’ll say this. What we believe about God is called doctrine and how we live based on the interpretation of what we believe is what creates the culture in a church. I spent 2 years at a Calvinist church. They did not want to outright say they were Calvinist or reformed, which is a common theme among those circles. I began to notice the culture overtime was not healthy. I visited other Calvinist churches when I would travel out of town and it was the same thing. The unhealthy culture of sameness or uniformity over true unity, perfectionism over holiness and intellectualism over a deep love and devotion to God through the Spirit caused me to look back at the theology. As I studied, I realized the scriptures being used to support Calvinist points were taken out of context and grossly misrepresented the gospel. After I solidified my beliefs and determined that I was not a Calvinist, I started to come across folks like A.W Tozer and Leighton Flowers which confirmed my beliefs.. It’s taken me a long time to heal from that experience and to get back to the first way I learned Christ that brought so much joy and righteous fruit to my life. Anyway, all I’ll say is we can talk about the word, but if you’re Calvinist just say so. I’m tired of being disappointed by the church both charismatic folks and Calvinist folks. Just preach Christ and Him crucified.

Hell was prepared for the devil and the fallen angels, according to Scripture. Gods will is not that anyone perishes, but that all come to repentance. Folks go to hell by rejecting the Blood of Jesus Christ, for the remission of sins. Acts 2:38. God is omniscient and knows who will be saved or not ❤️Believe in the Lord Jesus Christ and be saved. HE is sovereign and if He makes vessels unto honor and some unto dishonor. Remember we have not made ourselves, no one can stay HIS hand and say what doeth thou!
@@CCD_106 how is it arrogant 😂 it’s what the Bible clearly states. This is classic Calvinistic language. But it’s a logical fallacy. You’ve created what we call a “false premise”, it’s not one or the other. Scripture is clear.
@tristanwaechter4450 I'm not Calvinist or arrogant enough to say what God can't do. Romans 9:19-21 says to me God is COMPLETELY capable of creating something for destruction if He so desires, after all, HE made Pharoah's heart hard so that HIS will be done so if there is one created by The Creator for destruction, His will be done! 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾
@@CCD_106 God can do anything. Again, it’s a false premise to act like one side believes God is sovereign while the other side does not. You’ve created that scenario. God is sovereign. That’s never been in question. What’s in question is the reality of what Scripture says both in relation to free will and Salvation. There’s no arrogance involved. You’ve created a false premise. And just for the record, though there’s not enough time/space to have the full debate here, Scripture shows that Pharoah hardened his heart first. God doesn’t actually do the hardening until several plagues in. And it keeps going back n forth. Calvinists love to ignore that part!
@tristanwaechter4450 I'm a simple man. The Bible says God knows the end from the beginning. Therefore, I am certain God KNOWS the heaven/hell outcome of someone before forming them in the womb. Do you believe that? If so, how would you describe those who have hell as their end? EVERYTHING is predestined from God's perspective; the arrogance comes in when WE start made declarations on what cannot be known with certainty! 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾
Excellent teaching. God is omnipresent so He knows who will accept Him and who will reject Him, but He doesn’t cause it. It’s really nice to hear the original language. Thank you, Corey.

Romans 9:18-24.... this chapter really puts predestination into proper perspective. Listen, God is sovereign, and being such, knows ALL THERE IS to know; so it naturally follows that he knows who will die with him and who will die without him. He OBVIOUSLY has seen ALL THERE IS to see, past, present future, eternity... It is THE END from his perspective.... We are playing CATCH UP to the Eternal! He KNOWS who chooses life and who chooses death.. He wouldn't be God if he didn't know.... HOWEVER, he doesn't choose some TO BE be saved and some TO BE lost... But those WHO CHOOSE life He has chosen AND those WHO CHOOSE death He has rejected. 🤷🏿♂️ Sovereignty
Not trying to stir up an argument, I am genuinely just trying to understand, would appreciate any insight of these 2 questions I have. 1. In 2 Peter 3:9 it says “not wishing that any should perish”. My question is if salvation is complete by God’s choosing and we have no say in the matter, then why isn’t everyone saved? Does’t God want all to come to know Him? 2. In 2 Peter 3:9 it says that “but that all should reach repentance”. My question for this is, how can God call people too repentance if it is something that we can’t do on our own? Wouldn’t it make more sense for God to call people to repentance because we are able to respond and turn to Him? Thanks!
God did not send his son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him. Everyone has a divine appointment and we could ask, even for believers of this day and age, why not sooner Lord? But apparently it is tied up in the whole issue of evil, pain and suffering. It is God's will that everyone repent but not right now and not even all in this age otherwise it would happen. He does all that he pleases and is glorified in it.
@@hollywoodelpaso1982 well I mean do you have any other ones that prove them to be being used in the wrong context or something??😂😂 we supposed to be on the same team man, if you got something share it
God did not consign us to this corruption to condemn us. He subjected us to this corruption in hope. I believe the scriptures... the scriptures say... that hell was created for the devil and his minions. God did NOT make us in his image for us to go with the other fella.
Corey, serious question for you... The only thing, according to scripture that condemns someone to hell is unbelief, not sin as it was paid for on the cross (John 16:9). If total depravity is true people can't believe unless they are regenerated and given saving faith first. Not only that, but if limited atonement is true, then people go to hell for not believing in something Jesus never did for them on the cross. I can't help but read any, all, everyone and world and not see Gods desire to save everyone and that man is given a choice and responsible for this. Are these things not true?
@@Manofwar7It's definitely the correct side of the debate although it appears that when man tries to box God in a tightly boxed system (ism) it defaults to some error by denying plain and clear scripture. I'm 75% towards calvinism but unwilling to plant my flag in that box.
I see ALL this as ARROGANCE! Does GOD know who is going to heaven/hell, YES! Can WE know with 100% certainty, NO! Claiming what God can AND cannot do (He doesn't designate someone for hell/destruction) has got to be the epitome of ARROGANCE!!! Let those with ears to hear, hear! 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾

So the question is. Does GOD elect anyone that HE knows will never accept salvation? If HE doesn't then HIS election is based on HIS foreknowledge of those would receive HIS drawing. HIS election is predominantly used for Israel as being the nation that CHRIST would come through and those who are in CHRIST that are elected to preach the gospel. CHRIST is the predestined ONE!
Correct. Israel was elect and Jesus was elect. No one else. Believers, those who accept the truth are predestined to be conformed to the image of Christ.
Well, apart from God, no one would accept salvation. It's not that God saw that the man would choose Him and so chooses the man in return, but rather God secures the man's choice by choosing the man for salvation beforehand and moving upon the man according to His own predetermined choice and making His free choice of the man known to the man. The complete work of God in salvation humbles and stuns. There are none who are elected by the all glorious God who will not accept His salvation. Salvation is of the Lord.

I know we're told not to lean on our understanding when it comes to God But please help me understand how God has no pleasure in sending people to Hell, yet that's where most will end up, according to Matthew 7:13-14?
God does not choose who goes to hell. He has foreknowledge on what people will do, even before they were born. So, he knows whether they will finish the race. Most don't. So, most end up in hell.
Seems like semantics to me. If I have two children that both stay out too late and have the same track record and I chose to forgive one and not the other is that loving? I have the right to punish both because both violated the rule but to punish one and not the other doesn’t seem to fit the breadth of scripture.
I put it this way: Our sins earn the judgement that sends us to hell. God chose some to save despite themselves. In other words, God didn’t have to choose anyone to send to hell, but He did choose some to save from hell. We destine ourselves to condemnation, but God re-destines some to salvation. Since God made His selection in the distant past, we call the re-destining “predestination.” Predestination is God’s plan to intervene, endowing some with saving faith. Intervention is active. Allowing the rest to reap sin’s consequences is passive, and therefore, not “predestination to hell.”
Good job Corey. With people on here don't understand is people have been deceived by these more modern pastors or modern confessions of Faith that we have a choice in the matter when it comes to God when the Bible tells us in Ephesians chapter 2 that we were Dead in sin we were following the course of the world under the power of Satan following the desires of the flesh and the lust of our minds. How did we come to Christ? Well it says in in John chapter 6. No one can come to me unless the father draws them. Why don't people understand this? Some people I watch that, are sound in core and differ in the details of things not needed (I mean by this, that, they are core Christian’s, but are also human, and may disagree on tiny details that don’t have to do with salvation.) are people like Inspiring Philosophy, Dr.Michael Heiser, Corey (this channel obviously), Paul Washer. People that love the Lord and not knowledge. They all have some random disagreeance (they are human) however, these love the Lord, and truly fight for the faith. May God show you great role models of discipleship in the faith! Love from a brother in Christ

Hell is an English word that is used to cover a number words in the original languages. A mash-up doctrine has grown up around it which obscures what the Bible really teaches. As for salvation it is clear that in Adam all die and in Christ all live as set out in Romans 5 (especially verse 18). I Tim. 4:10 reiterates that all are saved but only believers understand it and benefit from it in this life.
It seems to me that if it’s true that God predestines who will believe, it means that His offering of salvation in Isaiah 65:2 & Romans 10:21 isn’t genuine. He would be offering something that He has no intention on giving because He’s withholding the regenerative power needed to make people submit based on His own lack of desire to save them.
@@kingshing5420 I’m not here to make bold statements, but to explain why I disagree with his theology. I believe the offer of salvation is genuine and it’s one of the reasons I don’t believe in Calvinistic soteriology. If I’m wrong, please explain to me how.
Your premise is flawed to start with: God doesn't predestine WHO WILL believe or WHO WILL reject but those WHO BELIEVE God has predestined.... Confused? I know 😂
@@kingshing5420 I agree that none of us naturally desire to be saved and that God delights in salvation. We don’t naturally know that we need salvation and the idea of it is offensive. But the Bible calls us to humble ourselves before the Lord. And if God isn’t too far off from anyone and is holding out His hands to a generation that hasn’t responded, I believe that He is expressing frustration because He knows that they aren’t doing something that they could do.
I know that we can’t ever really come up with an accurate analogy most times to describe what God does… but my pastor in trying to help us understand said “I used to go to the movies and watch Jaws before I would take my wife because she was always afraid. I would watch it so that I knew which parts to cover her eyes on. Now, I never caused any of those scary scenes in that movie… I just had already seen it”.
Yeah but you can't have it both ways they can't be judged for not being able to come out of a state because God didn't elect them that wouldn't be right everyone has the opportunity and is able to come to Christ
I wouldn't say that. God is God he does what he wills when he wants to an he is always right in his choices. I am not that smart an i smell bad an such yet for some reason he has saved me an chosen me. There are people a million times smarter than me stronger than me better than me. Yet God chose me as its written he chooses the dumb to shane the wise the weak to dash the strong. Can you say God is a monster for chosing who he wants?@madsaez
What would be right and just is for all of us to be damned. The fact He has chosen to save any of us is an example of His grace(unmerited favor) and mercy(forgiveness or withholding of punishment). Those who are judged are judged rightly and held accountable for the lives they lived. It's like the question, why do bad things happen to good people? There are none good but God. The better question is, why does anything good happen to wicked people?

I disagree. This scripture works for the argument that He does not predestine people for salvation. It doesn’t make sense for one group to have a way out of sin but the other group is blamed for their sin. We all have sinned and fall short. He is patient towards us to give all a chance to receive. I never thought I would disagree with Corey but it’s a first time for everything.
Enough already. He can read and interpret the Scriptures without you forcing a label on him. A man-centered label, contrary to what Scripture teaches in 1 Corinthians 1 and 3, mind you.

Brother im still on the fence about double predestination.. and i clicked this video because your theology is for the most part on point and edifying..but i must say and correct me if I'm mistaken.. Do you mean that because God knows someone will never believe then they are already judged? This reminds me of an Arminian argument which i disagree with.. This is why.. All things including faith, grace, and BELIEF come as a gift from God.. Now we know that God elects WHO He will give this gracious gift of belief and who He will not.. So the decision rests will The Lord not with the unbeliever..i struggle with this but it makes biblical sense for a man cannot belief unless he has been appointed to by God.. so it is not because God knows we won't believe Jesus chooses who will believe for those are they given to Him by The Father.. and the rest are passed over. This is such a difficult subject to get your head around. Jesus spoke about the elect, he said of Judas that he was meant to be lost. Pharoah, God hardened his heart and so he could not let the children of Israel go because God controlled him until the right time. It's unwise to cover this off in a short 8-minute video unless all Scriptures on the subject are covered.
Remember He chose Judas as one of the 12 knowing Judas was not going to be saved. He knew he would betray him but he didn’t not give him a chance for salvation. Also can you give me the scripture that says he was meant to be lost? God only hardened pharaoh’s hurt after pharaoh himself hardened his on heart. This does not have anything to do with salvation either.
@user-oo9fc9pu7n - God hardened Pharaohs heart. Exodus 4:21 21 And the Lord said unto Moses, When thou goest to return into Egypt, see that thou do all those wonders before Pharaoh, which I have put in thine hand: but I will harden his heart, that he shall not let the people go Judas - John 17:12 12 While I was with them in the world, I kept them in thy name: those that thou gavest me I have kept, and none of them is lost, but the son of perdition; that the scripture might be fulfilled John 6:70-71 70 Jesus answered them, Have not I chosen you twelve, and one of you is a devil? 71 He spake of Judas Iscariot the son of Simon: for he it was that should betray him, being one of the twelve My concern with bible interpretation is that many of us fall into error by part reading the Scriptures. It's easily done, but we should stop it so we don't end up misleading or being misled. Hope this helps.
How is it that some people believe and some don't? Everyone deserves to go to hell because all people lack faith at some point and sin. God desires that none are lost and that everyone turns to Him yet they don't turn. Why? Is it because they are not able to turn or because they refuse to turn? If they are unable to turn why not? How can they be held accountable for not turning if they can't turn?
This is the problem with Calvinism. It makes no sense and turns God into a monster. You have a choose to respond to the truth. You can reject it and harden your heart or believe the truth of the gospel and be saved. It’s that simple believe and be saved. This is the theme throughout the entire Bible. God giving a choice. All sins have already been paid for all you need to do is believe. God doesn’t send anyone to hell. People willingly refuse to believe the truth and go to hell.
Let's try a thought experiment, because your premise sounds like this "since God commands it, that MUST imply that we are able to do it" (in our argument, God commands us to have faith). God commands us through the decalogue, do we have the ability to adhere to The Law? You guys say God is a monster of He commands us to do something and then holds us responsible for not doing it. How about the truncated Law, to love God with all your heart mind and strength, have you lived up to that one actively and passively? Do you even have the ability to live up to it? If you can't live up to these commands, which none can, that SHOULD illuminate within your mind the fact that you NEED a savior, an advocate. In your doctrine that savior and advocate is your free will, with a wink and a nod to Christ of course. In the Calvinist doctrine that savior and advocate is Christ, the originator is The Father (who elected) and The Holy Spirit is the One who quickens the heart and spirit. Here's my dilemma with your doctrine, given that information, how is Calvinism a damnable doctrine from the pit of hades?

@@jtbtdlkt2012 God requires that we obey His laws. We have the ability to obey the law but we willingly break His law so we are justly punished. That doesn't make God a monster it makes Him righteous and just. God is also love. Every aspect of His nature is colored by the fact that He IS love. In His perfect love He has chosen to make a way out of our sin for us by drawing us back to Himself. He showed the greatest love in that He died for us (the whole world) while we still sinners. In Calvinism God only died for a select few that He enables to believe (quickens the heart as you put it) and He chooses to pass by the rest to let them burn in torment for eternity. Free will is not an idol. Exercising faith is not a work (Rom 4:5). It doesn't earn us salvation. The object of our faith is what saves us. Faith/belief is the conduit. If libertarian freedom doesn't exist rational affirmation is impossible. Reasoning is the process where we think about what we know and choose what to affirm. Deterministic theism is irrational garbage.
I’m going to be absolutely honest, I don’t get it. I do believe God sees what happened for time existed and after time ceases to exist. There will be some that reject the call of the Holy Spirit that draws us to salvation and belief in Christ. Judas was pre-destined to be the one to betray Christ. He denied Christ and unalived himself when he realized what he did. In the end God knows the end from the beginning, those who will accept and obey vs those who will bend the knee to their sins and the Antichrist. God has been faithful to Abraham’s descendants and the adopted roots of the gentiles, in the end it is up to Him since He has the ability to judge the heart of man. I’m not a Calvinist, an Armenian, a Whatever fill in the blank, all I know is God is faithful to complete the good work He began and that obedience is better than sacrifice. Both of those thoughts are what I cling to as the waves of the day to day try to destroy me. God always leaves a remnant of believers.
Brother, Corey, I love the channel and love your teachings...this is probably the first video, where I don't agree. Maybe you can do a more extensive teaching on this....because if God predestined means to determine in advance, determine an outcome or set of events...therefore, it's difficult to say God predestined us but didn't predestined someone to go to Hell.

is anyone listening Predestination means God knew before anyone was born who he would call to be a Christian not who would be lost or saved . God is not calling everyone in their 1st life Christ said " I did not come to call the righteous but sinners "If God calls you , you do not have to take your calling See Luke 14 : 28 , 29 Niv bible .
Calvinist like to paint God has the author of evil when that's so far from the truth period. Because God's plan is to give us life and life abundantly and what's the opposite of good obviously bad and in reality the person who really is the author of evil is Satan not God cause Satan comes to steal, kill, and destroy
This is not true... reeks of Calvinist dogma... GOD sends out His Call to everyone. To those who would answer His Call and believe, they become the ones He chose. They become the "those whom I have called/chosen." It's not predestination -- though with particular individuals He can and has done so. But Father never excludes someone from birth in the sense that they are not called to be saved. Fact is, we are ALL lost at birth and the call is sent out from God that we may be found in Christ. So there are two things at play when it comes to, for example, I Peter 2:8 and both of those things in regards to predestination actually give clarity and truth behind it. The two things at play are the fact that what's been predestined is NOT the person but the actual reality or the consequence -- the second thing at play is causality... because of sin as soon as sin entered into the realm of mankind, there was guaranteed to be people who would not believe God and it was guaranteed to be people who would believe in Him and because of that they were guaranteed to be people who would die and they were guaranteed to be people who would live -- both of those categories of people ENTER into life or death based on their choice. We enter into "predestination" when we believe, not being predestined to believe and others predestined not to believe...rather there would be those who would believe and those who would not believe...a truth and consequential but guaranteed result of sin in mankind... That once Adam sinned, the choice of turning to and returning to God or living in unbelief and rebellion was put into effect immediately. Indeed, the very fact that we have a choice strongly highlights the Great Love and Mercy that God showed toward mankind...for without His Love there would be No Choice and thus all would be "predestined" to not believe and therefore "predestined" to die forever. Thanks be to God our Father in the name of Jesus Christ, His Holy Son and our Lord, who Loved us and gave us His Word so that we could have a choice and that we could know Him and thus enter into His "predestined" Love -- into Eternal Life... and these are examples of predestined things. So think of our decisions and choices in that regard as a sort of key into life or death... it's why God says to Moses to tell the people of the choice in Deuteronomy and this is a defacto truth barrier against predestination. Furthermore, the fact that sin results in death -- even packaged with death as the two are like bone and marrow -- and because we have genuine Free Will -- there were always going to be people who were definitely not going to believe in God and you see it first play out from the beginning in Cain and Abel. Of note, things that are predestined seem to be bound, intrinsically, to the covenants of the predestined thing so that whether kept or broken... the resulting, and ultimately "fated," actions or consequences -- and these, by causation, are predestined results within predestined things... and these we enter into.

Very Disappointing! II Pet. is speaking of The Elect. Peter is speaking to the Believers i.e. The Elect and that God is longsuffering to Us-Ward (The Elect).
2 Peter 3:9 [9]The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance. If God is not willing that any should perish then why do they? Thanks 👍
God is not willing that ANY he has given to his Son should perish.... Jesus said, ALL that the Father has given me I should lose none, and will raise it up at the last day.
@@tonyrichardson2637 You only quoted part of 2 Peter 3:9 of course. It says "The Lord is not slow to fulfill his promise as some count slowness, but is patient toward YOU, not wishing that any should perish, but that all should reach repentance." When Peter refers to YOU, who is he talking to? BELIEVERS! God is not willing that any of US, His children, will perish. You're totally disrespecting scripture by removing those words from their context. To make the claim that God is generically unwilling that any human should ever perish is ridiculous because previous to this verse, Peter just got done talking about how God wiped out all of the evil people in Noah's flood. He was certainly willing that those people perish wasn't He? Peter just made a comparison between US and everyone else. His entire point is that God is slow to bring destruction upon the wicked for OUR sake, so that all of US will reach repentance. Please stop taking parts of a sentence away from its context in order to fabricate a doctrine that the Bible isn't teaching. I hope you realize how serious a problem that is.
Jews are the synagogue of satan, and NOT of Jesus’s Father’s sheep, yet Christians still believe that we are to be “allies” with the Jews. Jesus was NOT a Jew, nor are the Jews “God’s chosen people.” How can a group of people that reject Jesus as their Messiah be “God’s chosen”? Jesus to the JEWS…. “And He said to them, “You are from beneath; I am from above. You are of this world; I am not of this world. I speak what I have seen with My Father, and you do what you have seen with your father.” Jesus said to them, “If God were your Father, you would love Me, for I proceeded forth and came from God; nor have I come of Myself, but He sent Me. Why do you not understand My speech? Because you are not able to listen to My word. You are of your father the devil, and the desires of your father you want to do. When he speaks a lie, he speaks from his own resources, for he is a liar and the father of it.” John 8:23, 38, 42-44 NKJV “Jesus answered them, “I told you, and you do not believe. The works that I do in My Father’s name, they bear witness of Me. But you do not believe, because you are not of My sheep, as I said to you. My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me. And I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; neither shall anyone snatch them out of My hand. Actually this is wrong. You're approaching with a American it's about me I'm chosen entitled mindset. But however Jesus said my sheep hear my voice Jesus said not a dot from the law has passed WHICH IT'S NOT all early believers would reject this teaching because they kept it and simply obeyed God Predestination lol understand. Those adopted hear Jesus voice yes ? So 1 John if he says he knows me but ( doesn't keep my commandments he is a liar and the truth is not in him ) And understand Israel and the Jewish people ( are God's chosen elect and always will be ) now you being wild by nature was grafted into ( Israel) promise to Abraham was to expand Israel into multiple Nations Romans 9-11 and to not be arrogant or we can lose our inheritance to and be burned off Because that's possible .but when approaching scripture from the true doctrine and true gospel you get something totally else he predestined those to be adopted well that child must have to walk in obedience to what's written vs man's opinion so there's some things you're missing but some is correct ask Maurice mark Michael what I showed them with Passover ? It's truly amazing.

Jesus/Yeshua did not change the importance of keeping all of the Commandments. The two Commandments of Yeshua, loving God/Yahweh and loving your neighbor, are a summation of the Law and Torah. In fact, Yeshua says, “On these two Commandments hang/ depend all the Law and the Prophets/Torah” (Matthew 22:40).

Hell is a default destination. It's called Salvation because He goes out of his way to save us.
No, death is the default, not a fabled torture chamber called "hell"....
God did NOT create a torture chamber for those who die in their sins... that is not what the grave is nor the purpose of the Lake of fire...
The grave is for all who die, saved and unsaved (everyone)... awaiting our respective judgments.
The Lake of Fire's purpose is to DESTROY... to perish completely and for all time.. it is why the last enemy (Death) AND hell (the grave - Death's temporary holding place) will both be thrown into it... to be destroyed. That have NO place in the New Heavens and Earth.
Death, true death -- the 2nd death -- is a complete cessation of life. They who are destroyed in the Lake of Fire will no longer exist.
Ask yourself an honest question:
If the New Heavens and Earth dwells nothing but righteousness and Holiness and Perfection, etc., ONLY... then will God carry forth, into the Eternal Age, this eternal torture chamber of lost souls and dammed angels... leaving, satan an eternal legacy and a place in existence where God's anger dwells forever?
*** The Father said He will not always be angry... that it will not abide forever.

Oouhhh that’s a word

Great word, Corey, appreciate it; and appreciate you!
We all need a Strongs Concordance
HE is sovereign and if He makes vessels unto honor and some unto dishonor. Remember we have not made ourselves, no one can stay HIS hand and say what doeth thou!
AGREED...to say God does not destine anyone to hell is VERY ARROGANT!!!
I agree with that but the way some calvanist explain it makes it clearly sound like God is causing it.

Thank you! Peace & blessings! ❤️🙏✝️
Thanks!
Guys a Calvin worshiper.

This is incorrect
That is the pretzel of Calvinism. Yep!

the wages of sin is death and all have sinned. But the elect will receive mercy and grace thru Jesus Christ who bears our punishment.

True all sinners shall go before the white throne of judgment and in all courts you are presented with all the evidence that is against you. So for all the sinners who might be confused about why they are in hell shall be shown their folly.
When you started you’re dialogue I thought you were going to mention 1 Peter 2:8 “and “A stone of stumbling And a rock of offense.” They stumble, being disobedient to the word, to which they also were appointed.“
And to believe is to obey
Well, apart from God, no one would accept salvation. It's not that God saw that the man would choose Him and so chooses the man in return, but rather God secures the man's choice by choosing the man for salvation beforehand and moving upon the man according to His own predetermined choice and making His free choice of the man known to the man. The complete work of God in salvation humbles and stuns. There are none who are elected by the all glorious God who will not accept His salvation. Salvation is of the Lord.
@JesusISdaonlyway so why must we believe? Are you saying that we are saved from birth or when we believe? CHRIST is predetermined and the destiny of those who believe and who won't. Not us personally.
@@JesusISdaonlyway he makes it known to all through general revelation and the preaching of the gospel.
God i confess with my mouth and I've always believed your son Jesus Christ is our savior and he died for my sins that i pray you forgive me for. Im here to serve the Lord God almighty for the rest of my days.
God prepared both beforehand. The spirit of this world has blinded the eyes of those who perish, go to destruction.

People have varied fortune in this life. Life can be hell
Listen to the words of Jesus: God's will is that ALL he has GIVEN ME me I should lose none.. and that I should raise it up at the last day... So it naturally follows that there are those who are not given to Christ. God chose THEM but he did not choose WHO they would be....
We don't interpret it the way we think.
I'm actually scared to say anything unless God confirm it regarding the understanding of what is written in the bible.
Can we just live the way God wants us?
Living in faith, repentance from sins, trusting God for every aspects of our life. Believing in Jesus is our salvation.
I take it as simple as that.
Whew!
The unsaved standing before God in the end:
God: “I never knew you”
Sinner:”but God why do I have to pay for not excepting you when you didn’t predestine me except you?”
Does that make since?

Yes only because they made their decision not because they were predestined to choose hell. For the day of evil just means the ones who reject him were then made for that day.
@@SupremeSkeptic ok and I agree
Seems like semantics to me. If I have two children that both stay out too late and have the same track record and I chose to forgive one and not the other is that loving? I have the right to punish both because both violated the rule but to punish one and not the other doesn’t seem to fit the breadth of scripture.
I put it this way:
Our sins earn the judgement that sends us to hell. God chose some to save despite themselves. In other words, God didn’t have to choose anyone to send to hell, but He did choose some to save from hell.
We destine ourselves to condemnation, but God re-destines some to salvation. Since God made His selection in the distant past, we call the re-destining “predestination.”
Predestination is God’s plan to intervene, endowing some with saving faith.
You had nothing to do with your salvation was all a work of God and God alone. I don't call myself a calvinist but I believe in the doctrine of Grace. That's another name for it. Y'all better get it together and understand and know that you didn't accept Christ you believe because he change your disposition. If it had not been for God's initiative, you would be still walking dead

@@gideonboots1008The difference is He chose those people to MINISTER to all. Not that He chose those people and those people let others around them fall by the wayside.
You can’t predestinate( by the meaning of the pro orizo) someone to hell-if your pre bound in the light( what the Greek word means).
It seems to me that if it’s true that God predestines who will believe, it means that His offering of salvation in Isaiah 65:2 & Romans 10:21 isn’t genuine. He would be offering something that He has no intention on giving because He’s withholding the regenerative power needed to make people submit based on His own lack of desire to save them.
that is a bold statement my friend
@@kingshing5420 I’m not here to make bold statements, but to explain why I disagree with his theology. I believe the offer of salvation is genuine and it’s one of the reasons I don’t believe in Calvinistic soteriology. If I’m wrong, please explain to me how.
Your premise is flawed to start with: God doesn't predestine WHO WILL believe or WHO WILL reject but those WHO BELIEVE God has predestined.... Confused? I know 😂
@@TravisE. i believe it's the peoples lack of a desire to be saved, not Gods lack of desire to save. God delights in our salvation !
❤
The God of Calvinism is a monster

Nah, actually the opposite is happening. When Jesus returns there will be not one atheist. They will believe and worship the antichrist or Jesus.
I disagree. This scripture works for the argument that He does not predestine people for salvation.

Exodus 4:21
21 And the Lord said unto Moses, When thou goest to return into Egypt, see that thou do all those wonders before Pharaoh, which I have put in thine hand: but I will harden his heart, that he shall not let the people go
Judas - John 17:12
12 While I was with them in the world, I kept them in thy name: those that thou gavest me I have kept, and none of them is lost, but the son of perdition; that the scripture might be fulfilled
John 6:70-71
70 Jesus answered them, Have not I chosen you twelve, and one of you is a devil?
71 He spake of Judas Iscariot the son of Simon: for he it was that should betray him, being one of the twelve
My concern with bible interpretation is that many of us fall into error by part reading the Scriptures.
Good gives the power to the true believing to overcome sin....
@@SavedSealedDelivered amen. Empowered by God to be able to do what we once could not; from start to finish (the author and finisher of our faith), regenerated heart to enable faith and repentance, new affections to walk in newness of life.
I disagree. We don't need help us believe but to help us believe til the day we give up the ghost.
Let me remind everyone of the Parable of the Sower.

Good teaching

When Peter refers to YOU, who is he talking to?

He was a murderer from the beginning, and does not stand in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaks a lie, he speaks from his own resources, for he is a liar and the father of it.”
John 8:23, 38, 42-44 NKJV
“Jesus answered them, “I told you, and you do not believe. My Father, who has given them to Me, is greater than all; and no one is able to snatch them out of My Father’s hand. I and My Father are one.””
John 10:25-30 NKJV
Description of JESUS…
“His head and his hairs were white like wool, as white as snow; and his eyes were as a flame of fire; and his feet like unto fine brass, as if they burned in a furnace; and his voice as the sound of many waters.”
Revelation 1:14-15 KJV
The Synagogue of satan…
““I know your works, tribulation, and poverty (but you are rich); and I know the blasphemy of those who say they are Jews and are not, but are a synagogue of Satan.”
Revelation 2:9 NKJV
“Indeed I will make those of the synagogue of Satan, who say they are Jews and are not, but lie-indeed I will make them come and worship before your feet, and to know that I have loved you.”
Revelation 3:9 NKJV
Description of THE FATHER, HIMSELF…
“And He who sat there was like a jasper and a sardius stone in appearance; and there was a rainbow around the throne, in appearance like an emerald.”
Revelation 4:3 NKJV
The biggest LIE satan has ever convinced people of is that the Jews are “God’s chosen,” and that Jesus was white…and NO I’m not a “Black
Hebrew Israelite.” I’m a Christian who actually reads my Bible.
Actually this is wrong. You're approaching with a American it's about me I'm chosen entitled mindset.
But however Jesus said my sheep hear my voice Jesus said not a dot from the law has passed WHICH IT'S NOT all early believers would reject this teaching because they kept it and simply obeyed God
Predestination lol understand. Those adopted hear Jesus voice yes ? So 1 John if he says he knows me but ( doesn't keep my commandments he is a liar and the truth is not in him )
And understand Israel and the Jewish people ( are God's chosen elect and always will be ) now you being wild by nature was grafted into ( Israel) promise to Abraham was to expand Israel into multiple Nations Romans 9-11 and to not be arrogant or we can lose our inheritance to and be burned off
Because that's possible
.but when approaching scripture from the true doctrine and true gospel you get something totally else he predestined those to be adopted well that child must have to walk in obedience to what's written vs man's opinion so there's some things you're missing but some is correct ask Maurice mark Michael what I showed them with Passover ? It's truly amazing.

@@RoRo07770 taken of context. Do you keep his commandments ? Then you're not a sheep hehehe so therefore this don't concern you context kid
@@RoRo07770 remember John 14 Matthew 5. Them are his sheep context 😁 before you added verses know the context you bring a pagan view that isn't written heretic. Wolf
"Do not think that I have come to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I have not come to abolish them, but to fulfill them. For I tell you truly, until heaven and earth pass away, not a single jot, not a stroke of a pen, will disappear from the Law until everything is accomplished. So then, whoever breaks one of the least of these commandments and teaches others to do likewise will be called least in the kingdom of heaven, but whoever practices and teaches them will be called great in the kingdom of heaven" (Matthew 5:18).
“Do we then make void the law through faith? God/Yahweh forbid: yea, we establish the Law" (Romans 3:31) .
"He who possesses My Commands and keeps them, is he who love Me" (John 14:21).
"Do we then make void the law through faith? God/Yahweh forbid: yea, we establish the Law" (Romans 3:31).
"His commandments are not grievous/burdensome" (1 John 5:3).
“By this we know that we have come to know Him, if we keep His commandments. The one who says, “I have come to know Him,” and does not keep His commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him; but whoever keeps His word, in him the love of God/Yahweh has truly been perfected.” (I John 2:3-5) “Everyone who practices sin practices lawlessness as well. Indeed, sin is lawlessness” (1 John 3:4).
“If you love Me, you will keep My Commandments (John 14:15):
“But prove yourselves doers of the Word/Torah, and not merely hearers who delude themselves” (James 1:22).
“That you keep the Commandment without stain or reproach until the appearing of our Lord Jesus Christ/Messiah” (1 Timothy 6:13).
“Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the Commandments of God/Yahweh, and the faith of Jesus/Yeshua.” (Revelation 14:12).
“Blessed are they that do His Commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city” (Revelation 22:14). @@RoRo07770
