Amen. Now here’s another title we see today and used as role of preacher and it isn’t. “Reverend.” We have men and women reverends preaching. And that title came about the 15th or 16th century and it just means a clergy who is respected. They bounce around using titles but performing duties as preachers but giving themselves or given different titles to try to circumvent the authority of what the word of God said. Like children trying to be slick when they know they shouldn’t.
The context starts at verse 22 where it states Jesus (as a child) was first presented to the temple. This passage is speaking about him at the temple; thus, Anna was (verse 38) letting everyone know of His coming (up to the very hour). Whether you agree with women as Pastors is irrelevant. She didn’t prophesy toJesus, but she definitely spoke of His soon to be arrival to the temple and in Jerusalem.
It's getting harder to find a church that is biblically sound. I am still searching, and hopefully God can lead me to one soon because I do miss fellowship but I would rather read the word for myself and listen to the few sound teachers online for clarification on things I do not understand before I get lead astray by someone who is more worried about being called a Pastor than actually being a real Pastor.
He’s being dishonest in several ways. Besides the obvious, he conflates speaking with pastoring. But he relies on the second biggest problem in the church, the congregant who is ignorant of what’s in the Bible and lacks a thirst for knowledge. Preachers like him will always be able to get away with stuff like this. They insult their congregations every Sunday, daring someone to check them, but it never happens.
Amen. The prophetess Anna's role as recounted in the Bible does not contradict the role of women as laid out in the same Bible. The apostle Paul's edict on the role of women in the church makes a clear delineation between the female and the male role.
@mrsrichard7835 I disagree with Corey and only 4 folds of ministry as women can teach women & children. This is talked about in Titus 2. They can also be prophets and evangelists.
@@CCD_1061) it’s only four. 2) he’s not teaching us that a woman cannot teach. Personal relationship with Jesus Christ is paramount exactly for these types of controversies. If you have that relationship with Christ; pray honestly, study earnestly and humble yourself before God with the fear and respect he demands and deserves, the Word will be revealed to you as promised. You will see pastors gaslightning parishioners about women preachers because that's where the money generally is... women can usually be sweetalked out of their money by pastors among other things, men usually resist more.
What Anna actually did according to what is written in Luke 2 is exactly aligned with what the scriptures say the spirit of prophecy is that being the testimony of Jesus (Rev 19:10). In Luke’s account it says she began to give thanks to God and to speak of him [Jesus] to all who were wanting for the redemption of Jesus.
Jesus said to Simon, “Simon you asked me to your house but you did not kiss my cheek or wash my feet or give me oil for my head. This woman has kissed my feet and washed them. Then she put oil on them.” Then he told the woman, “I forgive you of all of the sins you have done.
Amen!!!! Thanks brother Corey for speaking and teaching God’s Truth!!!!! You’re correct; Anna spoke about Jesus, not to Him. And that minister did not have scripture(s) on the screen to follow or an open Bible for the congregation to read. Know God’s Word for yourself!!!
By that text, she prayed and then told of the old testament truth of a redeemer for Israel, which makes her a harald same as the other old man that saw him before he died that was at the temple.
The church is not a building; the body of Christ is the church. And the New Testament is clear: a woman cannot pastor a congregation -- whether they have a building or whether they're holding service in the woods. It's all the same thing: a woman cannot take on the office of pastor. But there is no proscription against woman standing during service to deliver a prophecy.

Greetings Beloved. This is the season of separation. Matt 25:32- "Before Him will be gathered all nations, and he will separate people from one another as a shepherd separates the sheep from the goat'.
When they are children not teens, not young adults, and not as adults. The husband and head of the house would teach the children once they hit a certain age. The mother didn’t have domain over the children after that except maybe daughters to train them in how to maintain and keep a house. The boys would have been educated and trained in a trade then. Today there is hardly if any men in the home to cover and train the children in the ways of God. 🤔
Before any man should teach he should be taught first the word of God ( Jeremiah 3:15) and I will give you pastors according to mine heart which shall feed you knowledge and understanding when Jesus came to the disciples He didn't just send them out to spread the gospel but He taught them first and they were baptized in power and the Holy Spirit came upon them and spoke through these vessels the infallible word of God and many were saved theirs only one way and that's Jesus way
I agree he was incorrect according to what you stated about speaking g over Jesus. However, she spoke over all who were there men and women. I agree the qualifications for elder appears to be male only. But the idea of many that women can’t speak at all does not seem to be supported by the full canon of scripture.
Lord Jesus does not call the qualified; however, He qualifies the called. Calling the unqualified has always been God’s prophetic specialty. Even His servant Moses…. However, in terms of the ministerial gift… not all are chosen to the office of an apostle prophet Evangelist pastor or teacher. God bless saints

Long hair, short hair, or no hair...both men and women share the same hair lengths. Hair length has nothing to do with his teaching skills or lack of biblical insight.
QUESTION: 1 Corinthians 14:34: it is not permitted a woman in the ecclesia to speak. 1 Corinthians 11:6: Yet every woman praying OR PROPHESYING with uncovered head... This seems to be a contradiction. So is the woman not prophesying in the ecclesia so it's OK? OR is speaking in the first verse limited to teaching? I tend toward the first option because didn't most prophets prophesy in the streets? Other options?
I’m sorry, can we define what exactly he means by “speak over”? What does he mean? Prophesying? What? And yes women spoke around Jesus. He spoke to them as well. Doesn’t mean those women had any authority or influence over Him. Also no one that I’ve heard has EVER said women can’t be used by God! Just that they can’t be pastors or elders etc in the church!
If a church has no male preacher and a woman is called by God then she can preach the gospel.. only if there's no man preacher in the church.if a woman who is called by God she can preach the gospel..
these pulpit pitchers are catering to the world's feelings .they're $ales pitch is geared towards the most prevalent in attendance .the women . ..some who know the Word for themselves & those who do not . ..either way. all being misled .
Why don't you tell us what's wrong with it. Samson was a man and had long locs. Long hair is not a sin. If you are referring to scripture which says that's its a shame for a man to have long hair, please research the context. It is not a sin or anything under Gods law. Many people do not understand what Paul was talking about. However, to each their own.
You know what's gonna have to happen.... Something down the Line is coming to where many who believes this doctrine (Men) will be forced to tuck THEIR tails and hide watch and see. Lastly if God can use a Woman in yhe pulpit then surely he can use her to be Head of the Husband in their home
The first thing this "preacher" need to do is obey the very, very elementary teaching of Scripture for a man not to wear long hair. Go get a Bible, then get a haircut brother. 1 Corinthians 11:14-15 KJV Doth not even nature itself teach you, that, if a man have long hair, it is a shame unto him? [15] But if a woman have long hair, it is a glory to her: for her hair is given her for a covering. This is one of the totally ignored commands in the Scripture that many in the Church don't that this rebellion speaks volumes
I’ve always wondered, based on that scripture, is permitting a woman to teach, sitting under a woman pastor, or hearing a woman preach make one fall short of salvation? If your saved in a Bible based church and attend a church of a female pastor or female preacher, does that undo your personal salvation OR does it serve as little leaven?
It will not make you fall short or lose your salvation, but if you know and understand the scripture and choose to remain in that church then you are grieving the Holy Spirit in you because you know better. The problem with a church that does not follow doctrine and twist scripture is that they eventually lead the congregation astray from sound biblical teaching because they use specific scriptures and twist the word to serve their own needs. It is not up to you to change them but rather it is up to you to make a choice to either stay or leave, the latter is usually best.
@@mambamentality9886 The only sin God will not forgive is blaspheming the Holy Spirit. I don't think grieving the Holy Spirit is the same as blaspheming the Holy spirit. We all grieve the Holy Spirit at times with our actions and words but we seek forgiveness because we are still growing in faith. Ephesians 4: 30 And do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, with whom you were sealed for the day of redemption. 31 Get rid of all bitterness, rage and anger, brawling and slander, along with every form of malice. 32 Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you. In short, believers can make the Spirit sad by our sinful actions but it is not in itself a sin.

1st Timothy 2: 12 But I suffer not a woman to teach, nor to usurp authority over the man, but to be in silence. 13 For Adam was first formed, then Eve. 14 And Adam was not deceived, but the woman being deceived was in the transgression. 15 Notwithstanding she shall be saved in childbearing, if they continue in faith and charity and holiness with sobriety.
@@alberttesla8632 "I" is key in this passage. Jesus nor The FATHER said this, Paul did. Look at Deborah and other Prophetesses that not only teach GODS people but also judge them. Adam was just as deceived as Eve. Eve is a carbon copy of man, Adam is the original. He should have not listened to his wife but remained obedient to The FATHER. She was deceived but so was he and he forfeited his dominance to Eve and she gave it to Satan. They were both wrong. Today man continues to fight for that dominance not realizing that with Jesus sacrifice, man and woman that believe on Jesus curse have been lifted. We, male and female SHARE DOMINANCE once again together. As we did before the fall. You my brother as are many men are allowing satan to win by arguing an argument that was hung on the tree with Jesus. Paul himself said every word shall be established by two or three. Only Paul says this nonsense and no one else. Paul also asks the men in Chloe house one very important question which I'm going to ask you. Did Paul die for you or was it Jesus? Jesus never said that. If The FATHER ordained Woman to be Prophetesses I'm sure HE'S ok with them Preaching and Teaching the Word! We have no time for this nonsense. Go and win a soul. You focus on doing the job that you were put here to do. If women are in error, The LORD will deal with them on that. Amen
Paul doesn't have a good reputation because the scriptures says in act 8th cpt v 3 , As for Saul he made havoc k of the church entering into every house, and hauling men and women committed them to prison for preaching the gospel.
That was his past before he met Christ. even Peter later vouched for him. 2nd Peter 3: 15 And account that the longsuffering of our Lord is salvation; even as our beloved brother Paul also according to the wisdom given unto him hath written unto you; 16 As also in all his epistles, speaking in them of these things; in which are some things hard to be understood, which they that are unlearned and unstable wrest, as they do also the other scriptures, unto their own destruction. So what you are trying to do here is twist the word to suit your narrative, the same thing every false teacher is dong these days. Be very careful, with what you say and be weary not to grieve the holy Spirit.
Have you read Act 15 cpt v 36-39 Barnabas was in perfect standing from beginning until Paul turns away it was Barnabas that defended Paul when he got converted. The saints were afraid of him for how evil he was
I’m really trying to understand your point. I think I get the point about women not being preachers or leading the men of the congregation. However women not proclaiming the gospel? Isn’t that what every Christian should be doing? What about women leading children/youth or women’s ministry? If we take being silent literally then technically a women shouldn’t even be praying or singing, right?
Pastor Corey, the creator of this video, never said women could not contribute in those ways -- only that the Bible says they can't be pastors or take authority to teach men within the congregation.
The Pastor is trying to use Anna the Prophetess as a way to promote women to be Pastors. He is being deceptive and it is clear to see. Please use discernment do not get caught up in emotionality of is words.

And that title came about the 15th or 16th century and it just means a clergy who is respected. They bounce around using titles but performing duties as preachers but giving themselves or given different titles to try to circumvent the authority of what the word of God said. Like children trying to be slick when they know they shouldn’t.
Sound like he simpin. Yet, he really pimpin the 😈
This is the son of the Late Pastor Mack Timberlake, Jr.
Yes. I thought they were still in Creedmoor
Hello everyone 👍🙏
👋
It's getting harder to find a church that is biblically sound. I am still searching, and hopefully God can lead me to one soon because I do miss fellowship but I would rather read the word for myself and listen to the few sound teachers online for clarification on things I do not understand before I get lead astray by someone who is more worried about being called a Pastor than actually being a real Pastor.
I can’t wait to go to heaven to be with Christ. False teaching is depressing.
HOLLERING AND SLOBBERING IS NOT PREACHING!
Amen. The prophetess Anna's role as recounted in the Bible does not contradict the role of women as laid out in the same Bible. The apostle Paul's edict on the role of women in the church makes a clear delineation between the female and the male role.
So what is the female role in the church?
@mrsrichard7835 I disagree with Corey and only 4 folds of ministry as women can teach women & children. This is talked about in Titus 2. They can also be prophets and evangelists.
@@CCD_1061) it’s only four. 2) he’s not teaching us that a woman cannot teach. Yes she can spread the news to her daughters and young women alike, and can even pray for a random man on the street or even correct him in scripture if the situation calls for it. The very second she uses that authority over a man in the pulpit, however, she is indeed out of order. There are no women prophets, especially not over a man. Is the Word of God, who is God, a lie?
Joel 2:28
And it shall come to pass afterward, that I will pour out my spirit upon all flesh; and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions:
“And there was a prophetess, Anna” (Luke 2:36, ESV). Anna is among only a handful of women in the Bible bearing the title “prophetess.” The others are Miriam, the sister of Moses (Exodus 15:20); Deborah, the judge (Judges 4:4); Huldah, the wife of Shallum (2 Chronicles 34:22); Isaiah’s wife (Isaiah 8:3); and Philip’s four unmarried daughters (Acts21:9).
I wish you could hear my Jamaican accent when I say “tell dem Corey! Dem crazy!” Translation - “tell them Corey, they are crazy”.
It’s getting really crazy, super fast
ANNA WAS A PROPHETESS, NOT A PROPHET!
I grew up by Carson and Compton cal. Went to black churches. Never understood all the emotional insanity in them. First time I went i ran, i was scared, i thought they were possessed by satan, screaming, hollering. Rolling on the floor. Hooping and jijjin...Never understood why. Its 10x worse in the AME churches.
Gino jennings is a good Pastor
I want you as my Pastor . I am 72 years old you are the best Pastor I know , I know you may not be a Pastor , well Corey step up God is using you , I believe that you have a calling .❤
From my understanding women can not be pastors. But preaching
? Hummm? 😂
This past February, I left my former church when our pastor retired. This pastor is misquoting the Bible and out of context.
Lol, decent teaching my brother very accurate with what was said over 2000 years ago and later written by inspiration of the Holy Ghost......keep up the good work great to know I am not the only individual who stands on what is written........
FEW WILL INHERIT THE KINGDOM OF GOD.
AMEN!!!
The soul-train pastor never take the time to read the Bible thoroughly
Who is here to say.. I am here to say women cannot be pastors over us! 😮😊
It's true and that is in the scriptures so if God said it, I believe it and that settles it.
Whats this new thing that men especially christian "pastors" are growing their hair like women? Brother Corey please talk about this.
Yes, many taking on the whole look is making them this way as well in terms of the character traits
You are very knowledgeable of the Bible...I wish you were our replacement now that Robert Morris resigned
They make Gods of themselves.
Preaching is explaining and applications of Scripture as it is written.
Amen🕊️
2Timothy 2:15 said study the Bible for your self.
Amen!
Never trust a preacher with long hair😂😅❤
Indeed

All glory and love be to GOD THE FATHER THE SON THE HOLY SPIRIT THE HOLY TRINITY forever and ever amen 💖✝✝✝
His head moved so much.
The first message I got. Was from my mother.. who was on the missionary board..
By that text, she prayed and then told of the old testament truth of a redeemer for Israel, which makes her a harald same as the other old man that saw him before he died that was at the temple.
What do we say about Joel 2:28? What about 1 Cor 11:5? Can women preach in an evangelical outreach service out of the four walls?
The church is not a building; the body of Christ is the church. And the New Testament is clear: a woman cannot pastor a congregation -- whether they have a building or whether they're holding service in the woods. It's all the same thing: a woman cannot take on the office of pastor. But there is no proscription against woman standing during service to deliver a prophecy.
I agree, ive been there once amd that was enough for me. This is not his calling.
📖
Galatians 1:8
“But though we, or an Angel from heauen, preach any other Gospel vnto you, then that which wee haue preached vnto you, let him be accursed.”
IF THEY DON'T REPENT AND *STEP DOWN, THEY WILL BE DESTROYED.
THIS TRUTH IS NOT A GAME.

The first person I’ve heard recognize the pastor and teacher are one.
@@ltconlinechurch He gave Apostles Prophets Evangelist Pastors and Teachers.
Apostles, prophets, evangelists and pastor/teachers are not offices. Thats why these guys say and do goofy stuff, bc they think they hold an "office" that gives them a position over the body. John Fenn has an excellent teaching on this
Greetings Beloved. This is the season of separation. Matt 25:32- "Before Him will be gathered all nations, and he will separate people from one another as a shepherd separates the sheep from the goat'.
Women are to teach their children. The most important job of all.
So the mothers should leave the teenage sons untrained in your opinion?
The creepy music was added for dramatic effect.
He is clearly adding to God's Word and if his sermon is that women can be pastors and teachers ? Then he is also teaching false doctrine !!!
Praise THE LORD JESUS Corey my Friend and Brother please tell that guy STOP adding to the Scriptures, Proverbs 30/6 and Revelation 22/18 Saids don't ADD or TAKE AWAY to the Scriptures. Yes we have Women who can be used by GOD, BUT NOT OVER Man, Love you always D and C
A pastor with long hair nuffffff said step down buddy
Long hair, short hair, or no hair...both men and women share the same hair lengths. Hair length has nothing to do with his teaching skills or lack of biblical insight.
@@d_roi8689 yeah ok
Yes Prophetess Anna is in the bible !
Satan is in the Bible too!
That pastor was gaslighting
Nuance matters
It's sad that they do this and all the congregation needs to do is .... OPEN THE BIBLE...and see what it actually says
LORD…..WHY?
QUESTION: 1 Corinthians 14:34: it is not permitted a woman in the ecclesia to speak. 1 Corinthians 11:6: Yet every woman praying OR PROPHESYING with uncovered head...
This seems to be a contradiction. So is the woman not prophesying in the ecclesia so it's OK? OR is speaking in the first verse limited to teaching? I tend toward the first option because didn't most prophets prophesy in the streets? Other options?
SPOT ON
I’m sorry, can we define what exactly he means by “speak over”? What does he mean? Prophesying? What? And yes women spoke around Jesus. He spoke to them as well. Doesn’t mean those women had any authority or influence over Him. Also no one that I’ve heard has EVER said women can’t be used by God! Just that they can’t be pastors or elders etc in the church!
If a church has no male preacher and a woman is called by God then she can preach the gospel.. only if there's no man preacher in the church.if a woman who is called by God she can preach the gospel..
THESE ARE ""BABY JIM JONES.""
It's an act his audience is probably majority of women and it's all an act.
these pulpit pitchers are catering to the world's feelings .they're $ales pitch is geared towards the most prevalent in attendance .the women . ..some who know the Word for themselves & those who do not . ..either way. all being misled .
Whoops one Male one female one Adam and one eve
MEN DO BETTER !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Corey, what's with the so called male pastor's wearing long hair with braids? 😱
@@user-mw4rk7hm4u thank you for sharing, with an attitude. I just asked a question, is all.
You know what's gonna have to happen.... Something down the Line is coming to where many who believes this doctrine (Men) will be forced to tuck THEIR tails and hide watch and see. Lastly if God can use a Woman in yhe pulpit then surely he can use her to be Head of the Husband in their home
WOW, that is certainly something to think about……….🧐……………
😐
The first thing this "preacher" need to do is obey the very, very elementary teaching of Scripture for a man not to wear long hair. Go get a Bible, then get a haircut brother.
1 Corinthians 11:14-15 KJV
Doth not even nature itself teach you, that, if a man have long hair, it is a shame unto him?
@@alberttesla8632 leads to another question, isn’t grieving the Holy Spirit sin?
@@alberttesla8632 thanks for your patience and clarity.
@@mambamentality9886 You're welcome
Where was Paul on the day of Pentecost when men and women were filled with the holygost and began to speak with other tongues
Luke 2,:36- 38 shows a prophet named Anna
But nowhere does Luke say she prophesied over Jesus. It doesn't even say she ever met Him.
1 Timothy 3:2
"A BISHOP, then must be blameless, the husband of one wife, vigilant, sober, of good behavior, given to hospitality, apt to teach; not given to wine, no striker, not greedy of filthy lucre; but patient"
WHERE do it say Pastor?
1st Timothy 2: 12 But I suffer not a woman to teach, nor to usurp authority over the man, but to be in silence.
13 For Adam was first formed, then Eve.
14 And Adam was not deceived, but the woman being deceived was in the transgression.
15 Notwithstanding she shall be saved in childbearing, if they continue in faith and charity and holiness with sobriety.
@@alberttesla8632
"I" is key in this passage.
2nd Peter 3: 15 And account that the longsuffering of our Lord is salvation; even as our beloved brother Paul also according to the wisdom given unto him hath written unto you;
16 As also in all his epistles, speaking in them of these things; in which are some things hard to be understood, which they that are unlearned and unstable wrest, as they do also the other scriptures, unto their own destruction.
The saints were afraid of him for how evil he was
@@philologustate4464 What is your point exactly?
He is not wrong… God can and will! The logic of men restrict women…. Pauline disciples
