I was at a church service back in 2003. I was a lead singer on our praise team. The visiting Pastor, who also was the speaker finished the sermon and had an alter call. I never made eye contact but he called me out. He prophesied to me and told me if I didn't stop doing what I was doing that God's wrath would fall on me. He and his wife took me to the side and GOD showed him my sins and he told me everything I was doing. I'm a very private person and I didn't have many friends and didn't tell anyone my business. He told me that God was tired of my ways and I will die if i didn't repent and stop sinning. He saved my life. His obedience to God saved my life. That was not a peaches n' cream and prosperity prophesy. That was the truth from God. I walked out of that church delivered, truly saved and a new person.
This stuff has been going on for years and they all say the same thing. I’ve seen it and use to be apart of this movement as they call it. It’s all about the gifts, the apostolic and the prophetic. Jesus is never exalted.
The power of the Holy Spirit is real. The giftings are real. We need to pray for discernment before we go and call ppl false preachers. Smart Christians channel, what is the intent behind this video. Not everyone who lays hands and prophecies is full of it. I can testify to that. At the end of the day, we will know them by their fruit. If you are in your word and spending time with the Father then He will reveal things to you and you will know who you should and shouldn’t be listening to. Be blessed City of God and always seek truth and knowledge from the father. We are always learning and being corrected. Don’t be too prideful that God will pass you over
With every teaching, you have to expose, as well as, oppose the false teaching that comes behind it. If you're using the Word of God and using it properly then you have to show when it's being mishandled and misappropriated. Thank you for teaching in context and allowing the Word to speak for itself. Bad hermeneutics, apologetics and horrendous theology plague the black church especially!! Thank you for being sound Cory. Your teaching is a blessing to the Body of Christ!!
There is a difference between condemnation and conviction. Condemnation drags you down and makes you less then leaving you in depression. Conviction brings you to repentance then lifts you up

One of my favorite preachers, who has gone to be with the Lord, is Adrian Rogers. He preached the gospel with power and authority and without holding anything back. We need more pastors like him today.
So agree with your view on women are women and men are men. God showed me how to submit to my husband and support him more. Then a remarkable thing happened, we began to understand each other better. All Godly women should read proverbs 31 the wife of noble character. I just love that psalm. When I read that I see myself in it and I know that I am being the wife God called me to be
Cory, the reason why the Charismatic movement with the likes of Benny Hinn, Copeland, etc got so huge during the 80s, 90s, and 2000s, was because there was no one reproving and exposing them from their inception. What you are doing today, is preventing the new ones from taking root and getting too big deceiving masses.

Corey you're going to have a lot of enemies because you are preaching sound doctrine

A lot of those false teachers don't want to preach about Hell, it is because they want to be apart of the ways of the world
There is no way you can present the gospel without mentioning hell expressly or by implication. Even in John 3:16, hell is implied.
