I’m a pastor out of Arlington Tx…I’m tired of these type of ministers who are financially set for life off the backs of the regular guy; because they were lying, now retracting, recanting, and coming to a “realization” that they were wrong…I’m a nobody and I came out of the word of faith camp, and saw that something was wrong earlier in my study of the word and stopped requiring the people to tithe but to be generous according to the teachings found in the old and New Testament…I thank you for keeping it 💯 and hope to meet you someday
I never cared for the money stuff. The WoF minister who brought me to the Lord didn't care for the money stuff. The WoF minister who brought him to the Lord didn't care for the money stuff. We focused on the Word. This is really prosperity gospel and it is, unfortunately, all over WoF today. Not that I agree with specific modern distinctives as opposed to classic faith beliefs.

I would love to see more pastors read and teach on giving to the poor instead of always giving to the church. Giving is almost always taught as giving your money to your church. Let's give to people who need help, give meals to the poor, buy birthday gifts for disadvantaged children in the neighborhood and do so as though God is giving to these people through you. Bring glory to God through your kindness and giving. It's not always about the church building or the pastor's shoes. Just throwing that out there.

I grew up in cogic and it’s always some reason to give money to the pastor, his family, or for some arbitrary fundraiser My mom was a faithful tither but her business started to slow down and she needed help with the mortgage. The pastor told her that he’s sure “someone will let you sleep on their couch”😐 he was dead serious and never offered a dime or to take up a collection or anything They think all the giving should be one sided… that’s why I like giving directly to people who i know are financially struggling or to proven non profit charities that really give back and not pad the executives bank accounts
My church teaches tithing! They give to poor have a orphanage a, home for foster boys a, home for women who are pregnant and don't want a abortion and sponsor a drug treatment facility
When my wife told me about this the first thing I asked her was “is he going to give the money back that he made from it “. Jesus didn’t allow people to just repent with words only he wanted proof

ME TOO!!! I gave the exact same amount bc I thought it was the Godly thing to do. I didn't necessarily believe that God was gonna give me a million dollars for tithing $600 - I just thought I was being responsible by tithing 10% and would be blessed for my faith, whether that was in the form of any positive thing. I tithed that $600 out of my personal fund for my business. Yeah, in less than a year I had to shut business down. My first thought was, "Why did this happen? I tithed and trusted God w/ my money. My business should've flourished, instead it caved in." I'm not blaming God of course, but this situation plus a couple others proved to me this teaching was false. Lesson learned as well. I could really use that $600 now. Be careful out there, fellow Christians!

I remember being in church services where the leaders would tell people they need to give the tithe before they pay their rent and don’t let it be a visiting preacher they would say give what you have but they try to make you feel bad because you did not have a lot to give. 😞 sad but true .

Reminds me of what prosperous Catholics do to get out of purgatory and into heaven: Indulgences are paid/donated/given to the Catholic Church. If there's an unrepentant member or the family wishes to secure the deceased place in the spiritual realm, monies or offerings are made on behalf of the departed.
I had a friend who belonged to a small Pentecostal church. Members of the church were required to make a tithing commitment to the church, and would be held financially liable if they did not pay. Complete insanity!
I went to a mild word of faith/prosperity church that would ask the people to make a commitment to missions giving for the year and complete a card saying what they would give. It didn't make sense to me because why couldn't they believe that God would provide for the work they planned to do. They expected the people to have faith that God would provide for what they committed to but they weren't doing it themselves.
If you want to become a member of a church, yes, they teach you about tithing but no church will hold it against you for not giving tithes!! Also, tithing it Biblical but it's NOT mandatory!! strictly voluntary!!
A friend of the family when I was a kid was having financial issues and she went to her church. They said since she didn’t tithe regularly they wouldn’t help her. She had been a member for years and served in the church. But because she didn’t tithe regularly they refused to help her
As a pastor I've said to the congregation: If you want to give 10% of your earnings out of love & cheerfulness as CHRIST said in Luke 11:42, then so be it. If you decide to give less so be it, more so be it. The whole objective is to give out of love and not fear. And as far as religion, we're not called to be religious we're called to be Saints. The LORD loves a cheerful giver but HE'S NEVER taught anyone to neglect their financial obligations to keep utilities on and food on the table. We don't give till it hurts. We give out of love and respect for GOD and godly ministry. No guilt necessary. GOD will deal with everyone according to what's in the heart. Stay safe and healthy in spirit, soul, and body.❤

This appears to be another sequel in the movie franchise of "False Teachers and Their Repentance Gimmicks." The original movie "Benny Hinn: A Dog Returning to His Vomit" didn't do well at the box office as Hinn returned to his prosperity preaching almost immediately. The sequel "Todd White: Repentance? No, I'm Just Pulling Your Leg" did better at the box office because some people who attend White's theatre were fooled by his histrionics and crocodile tears. Now "Creflo Dollar: No Apology Repentance" does not promise to do well with the critics because Dollar is not willing to part with any of his dollars.

One thing the tithe was never money . The tithe was always food . The only time it was other than food was when Abraham gave the spoils of war to Melchizedek . When the tithe was instituted into the law it was a specific thing for a specific purpose .
And actually,lots of those spoils were the livestock and food reserves of the conquered army but there was also things like shields and spears which had some monetary value
Tithing is not monetary it's spreading GOD word, helping ppl in need, feeding the poor, praying for a blessing for your neighbor, etc.. offering is to give from the heart

We drank powdered milk, ate powdered eggs, government grilled cheese sandwiches, corn flakes with water, tide bubble bath, we even had to wear our school clothes two days in a row to conserve money. I also remember generic food and generic toilet paper.
If you own a home like I do I first started paying water for watering the lawn, bathing, washing dishes, water the fruit trees use to pay 40.00 a month now it's 138 .oo a month eggs is high potatoes , meats gasoline, I give if I can I'm on ssa I worked 48 years at hard labor I served in the Army
We paid tithes faithfully for about 30 years. Even though paying it first before my bills, some bills were behind in payment. We had to give up a brand new car and let my brother in law take over the notes. I thought God would pour out us out a blessing for paying tithes. I discovered the truth in tithes 2-3 years ago and we GIVE about 5% of paycheck. My present pastor preaches about paying tithes but we don’t pay 10%. If he don’t like it, we will leave. Me and my husband work the sound and live video in church so thats giving too. My pastor even called the church the storehouse. A church isn’t a storehouse. Storehouse stores food in the bible times. Tithes in Malachi 3 was about food and when you switch tithes of food to money, then your changing the word of God. My pastor spends lots of money remodeling our church and paying bills. He thinks more people will show up with a new remodeled church. It hasn’t really helped much. We have no idea how much he gets paid or how much church has in funds. They wont tell us. He did say how funds wasn’t at a level he liked and wanted us to give more $$$!. 😲 Prices of everything is going up and he’s nearly begging for more money. Also a lot of pastors try to put their members under laws done in bible days for certain people. I’m surprised they don’t make people sacrifice animals to pay for sins yet. 🙄 Also people should be seeking God, not after money.
whenever people pull Malachi 3:8 I usually pull Malachi 2:1 and ask them who was being chastised and why. In the book of Nehemiah the priest literally cleaned the "store room" out and turned it into a bedroom which is why the Levites stopped bringing the tithes and offerings because there was no longer a store room. The priest offered what they had which was tainted.
As a man of God and minister of the gospel, I must say that Creflo Dollar was so sincere in his preaching and teaching for so many years that the devil led him in deception. When you believe someone is a true man or woman of God and you believe they have revelation and true understanding you will follow them anywhere. The problem is that many people do not search the scriptures for themselves and ask God for revelation, understanding & God's given wisdom. What does Creflo need a jet for anyway? God does not need one man to travel the globe with false teaching. There are others that God will raise up to preach the gospel to the ends of the earth. Creflo, stay home save God's money for those really in need.

I've been in the dark for days ,phone cut off and nobody came around to see how we're doing and we were the van driver of the church with no gas in the van to pick up anyone. Yes even the gas we paid for. At that time my late husband was just converted.Thank God for his awesome grace he didn't part from the Lord but he grew by his faith to Jesus his Savior. Hello...I have listened to you from time to time and honestly speaking I do question about the things you talk about. But this video is spot on. I guess I saw the human side of you. I'm not saying your not human but the things you said about creflo dollar were spot on. Then when you shared alittle bit about your life growing up on how poor you were took me down memory lane. My mother when we were like babies would feed us cornflakes with water. She would chewed it first then from her mouth gave it to us because we didn't have milk. And yes I do remember that horrible tasting powdered milk.

As a preacher's kid I saw all of this. One example will make you see what he is talking about. In the pentecostal church of God, we would have meetings once a month on Saturdays to different places in the section or area of all pcofg churches. The superintendent of WA state told everyone to ask the Holy Spirit what to give to meet a need, which was to give to Joplin headquarters. They took up the offering. They came back and said they didn't meet their need and took up another offering. Key here is they used shame and guilt because asking God what to c wasn't enough. This is why I question organized religious tithing. And I wrote Long Night to explain God's truth about organized religion.

Creflo Dollar mentioned nothing about wanting to restore those people that he deceived all of these years. In fact, he stated that he was not sorry for the paththat he took. This is so disgusting, because he justified his own actions while duping people into thinking that he wants to turn over a new leaf. Because of his ability to captivate an audience, he is given a free pass to rip people off just like a pimp who shrong-arms a prostitute into continually giving up her body for the express benefit of the pimp, but to her own detriment. You can fool people, but God knows your heart and He has already informed us in His Word that judgment must first begin at the house of God. Creflo repeatedly told lies in this sermon, because Creflo already knew that he was teaching false doctrine and yet he refused to change because of fear. He reaped the same fear that he sowed on those who followed him.
You don’t need a license to preach the gospel or for the call of God on your life… But certain ministries may ask you certain background information if you are trying to be hired as a leader(traditional ways of the church is different in the eyes of God) If God calls one to pastor, be a teach or a prophet, then who can tell you that you can’t walk in your calling? Man tries to take away your credentials that God gave , but no one can take away the “call”. You just may have to find another ministry or start one yourself by the leading of God. The word of God says each man needs to work out his own salvation, so regardless who puts us out of a building, we still have to keep working! Amen! 😇🌹 There are many leaders that were called by their leaders but not called by God and for that reason is why we see so many precious sheep that are lost and tired from being under false leaders, this is why so much corruption is in the church.
The church doesn't have a license ,I don't think he is under any denomination but he does have a seminary degree from Oral Roberts University so he can legally operate anywhere they will pay him
Erica here using hubby’s acct. I’ve spoken about this issue for over many year and even my pastor then, disagreed and ignored me. I stopped tithing years ago. I would love to see more pastors read and teach on giving to the poor instead of always giving to the church. Giving is almost always taught as giving your money to your church. Let's give to people who need help, give meals to the poor, buy birthday gifts for disadvantaged children in the neighborhood and do so as though God is giving to these people through you. Bring glory to God through your kindness and giving. It's not always about the church building or the pastor's shoes. Just throwing that out there.

ME TOO!!! I gave the exact same amount bc I thought it was the Godly thing to do. I didn't necessarily believe that God was gonna give me a million dollars for tithing $600 - I just thought I was being responsible by tithing 10% and would be blessed for my faith, whether that was in the form of any positive thing. I tithed that $600 out of my personal fund for my business. Yeah, in less than a year I had to shut business down. My first thought was, "Why did this happen? I tithed and trusted God w/ my money. My business should've flourished, instead it caved in." I'm not blaming God of course, but this situation plus a couple others proved to me this teaching was false. Lesson learned as well. I could really use that $600 now. Be careful out there, fellow Christians!

You can read the Bible yourself but will you understand it as it was meant to be interpreted in all the books and Bible verses. It’s good to have a theologian that has a view that has been taught over the centuries when you are lost. I always wondered where did the other people come from in the Bible. I was taught that basically incest is the way life began after Adam and Eve which the creator allowed to live for almost a thousand years each ,their children produced children that ended up in marriages that produced children. That’s how we as humans are all family from the beginning of human time.

I had a friend who belonged to a small Pentecostal church. Members of the church were required to make a tithing commitment to the church, and would be held financially liable if they did not pay. Complete insanity!
I went to a mild word of faith/prosperity church that would ask the people to make a commitment to missions giving for the year and complete a card saying what they would give. It didn't make sense to me because why couldn't they believe that God would provide for the work they planned to do. They expected the people to have faith that God would provide for what they committed to but they weren't doing it themselves.
If you want to become a member of a church, yes, they teach you about tithing but no church will hold it against you for not giving tithes!! Also, tithing it Biblical but it's NOT mandatory!! strictly voluntary!!

A friend of the family when I was a kid was having financial issues and she went to her church. They said since she didn’t tithe regularly they wouldn’t help her. She had been a member for years and served in the church. But because she didn’t tithe regularly they refused to help her

As a pastor I've said to the congregation: If you want to give 10% of your earnings out of love & cheerfulness as CHRIST said in Luke 11:42, then so be it. If you decide to give less so be it, more so be it. The whole objective is to give out of love and not fear. And as far as religion, we're not called to be religious we're called to be Saints. The LORD loves a cheerful giver but HE'S NEVER taught anyone to neglect their financial obligations to keep utilities on and food on the table. We don't give till it hurts. We give out of love and respect for GOD and godly ministry. No guilt necessary. GOD will deal with everyone according to what's in the heart. Stay safe and healthy in spirit, soul, and body.❤

The original movie "Benny Hinn: A Dog Returning to His Vomit" didn't do well at the box office as Hinn returned to his prosperity preaching almost immediately.
The sequel "Todd White: Repentance? No, I'm Just Pulling Your Leg" did better at the box office because some people who attend White's theatre were fooled by his histrionics and crocodile tears.
Now "Creflo Dollar: No Apology Repentance" does not promise to do well with the critics because Dollar is not willing to part with any of his dollars.

Absolutely, no one has any hope of being born again and receiving divine forgiveness without genuine heartfelt repentance. One thing the tithe was never money . The tithe was always food . The only time it was other than food was when Abraham gave the spoils of war to Melchizedek . When the tithe was instituted into the law it was a specific thing for a specific purpose .

We drank powdered milk, ate powdered eggs, government grilled cheese sandwiches, corn flakes with water, tide bubble bath, we even had to wear our school clothes two days in a row to conserve money. I also remember generic food and generic toilet paper.

We paid tithes faithfully for about 30 years. Even though paying it first before my bills, some bills were behind in payment. We had to give up a brand new car and let my brother in law take over the notes. I thought God would pour out us out a blessing for paying tithes. I discovered the truth in tithes 2-3 years ago and we GIVE about 5% of paycheck. My present pastor preaches about paying tithes but we don’t pay 10%. If he don’t like it, we will leave. Me and my husband work the sound and live video in church so thats giving too. My pastor even called the church the storehouse. A church isn’t a storehouse. Storehouse stores food in the bible times. Tithes in Malachi 3 was about food and when you switch tithes of food to money, then your changing the word of God. My pastor spends lots of money remodeling our church and paying bills. He thinks more people will show up with a new remodeled church. It hasn’t really helped much. We have no idea how much he gets paid or how much church has in funds. They wont tell us. He did say how funds wasn’t at a level he liked and wanted us to give more $$$!. 😲 Prices of everything is going up and he’s nearly begging for more money. Also a lot of pastors try to put their members under laws done in bible days for certain people. I’m surprised they don’t make people sacrifice animals to pay for sins yet. 🙄 Also people should be seeking God, not after money.

whenever people pull Malachi 3:8 I usually pull Malachi 2:1 and ask them who was being chastised and why. In the book of Nehemiah the priest literally cleaned the "store room" out and turned it into a bedroom which is why the Levites stopped bringing the tithes and offerings because there was no longer a store room. The priest offered what they had which was tainted.
As a man of God and minister of the gospel, I must say that Creflo Dollar was so sincere in his preaching and teaching for so many years that the devil led him in deception. When you believe someone is a true man or woman of God and you believe they have revelation and true understanding you will follow them anywhere. The problem is that many people do not search the scriptures for themselves and ask God for revelation, understanding & God's given wisdom. What does Creflo need a jet for anyway? God does not need one man to travel the globe with false teaching. There are others that God will raise up to preach the gospel to the ends of the earth. Creflo, stay home save God's money for those really in need.

I'm not saying your not human but the things you said about creflo dollar were spot on. Then when you shared alittle bit about your life growing up on how poor you were took me down memory lane. My mother when we were like babies would feed us cornflakes with water. She would chewed it first then from her mouth gave it to us because we didn't have milk. And yes I do remember that horrible tasting powdered milk.

Sounds like tithing has gone down for his church because inflation has caused people to tighten their budgets. He needs a new angle to squeeze more outta his congregation. Maybe he shoulda focused on teaching financial responsibility.
As a preacher's kid I saw all of this. One example will make you see what he is talking about. In the pentecostal church of God, we would have meetings once a month on Saturdays to different places in the section or area of all pcofg churches. The superintendent of WA state told everyone to ask the Holy Spirit what to give to meet a need, which was to give to Joplin headquarters. They took up the offering. They came back and said they didn't meet their need and took up another offering. Key here is they used shame and guilt because asking God what to c wasn't enough. This is why I question organized religious tithing. And I wrote Long Night to explain God's truth about organized religion.

Creflo Dollar mentioned nothing about wanting to restore those people that he deceived all of these years. In fact, he stated that he was not sorry for the paththat he took. This is so disgusting, because he justified his own actions while duping people into thinking that he wants to turn over a new leaf. Because of his ability to captivate an audience, he is given a free pass to rip people off just like a pimp who shrong-arms a prostitute into continually giving up her body for the express benefit of the pimp, but to her own detriment. You can fool people, but God knows your heart and He has already informed us in His Word that judgment must first begin at the house of God. Creflo repeatedly told lies in this sermon, because Creflo already knew that he was teaching false doctrine and yet he refused to change because of fear. He reaped the same fear that he sowed on those who followed him.
Creflo needs to turn in his license.

You don’t need a license to preach the gospel or for the call of God on your life… But certain ministries may ask you certain background information if you are trying to be hired as a leader(traditional ways of the church is different in the eyes of God) If God calls one to pastor, be a teach or a prophet, then who can tell you that you can’t walk in your calling? Man tries to take away your credentials that God gave , but no one can take away the “call”. You just may have to find another ministry or start one yourself by the leading of God. The word of God says each man needs to work out his own salvation, so regardless who puts us out of a building, we still have to keep working! Amen! 😇🌹
There are many leaders that were called by their leaders but not called by God and for that reason is why we see so many precious sheep that are lost and tired from being under false leaders, this is why so much corruption is in the church.
The church doesn't have a license ,I don't think he is under any denomination but he does have a seminary degree from Oral Roberts University so he can legally operate anywhere they will pay him

I’ve spoken about this issue for over many year and even my pastor then, disagreed and ignored me. I stopped tithing years ago. We give to those in need, either family, friends, and or Bible teachers who are really the word.
