If we are choosing the church, we would not be a Son of God...and Jesus clearly would not be our Shepherd. As many as are LED by the Spirit of God, THEY are the Sons of God. Jesus said "my sheep hear My Voice and they FOLLOW me." Ask Jesus where to go, and He will lead you to where God's Spirit and Presence will be. THAT'S the evidence of God's TRUE church where GOD'S TRUTH is being taught/preached.
I’m a widow and sit at home reading my Bible and worshipping the Lord because I have no desire to be in today’s compromised church. I have been one of those calling things out and just took beatings over it all the time. People seem to love everything now except Biblical truth! I love my Lord Jesus Christ!
@@danielturner9832 Does not necessarily imply a church environment. You can fellowship with other believers anywhere and share how God is working in your life. You can have your own Bible study as a small group and worship the Lord also. A lot of teaching in the prosperity gospel churches turns me off.

I grew up as a pk. I’ve watched my dad as a pastor my whole life . I can truly say he was a real man of God and when he prophesied to people he was always accurate . He never asked people for money , he often gave the cost off his back and shoes off his feet. Our church helped members secure down payments for houses . He passed away and he showed what I truly means to be a man of God .
It is a joke nor is it of TMH YAH and never was. Folks don’t know this or what the enemy has done and especially to the negro whom the scripture is about. It’s not a religious book it’s history of TMH’s people.

Corey, just because you don’t go to church does not mean you don’t believe or are not saved. Many people worship God, accept Jesus and read their Bible daily who don’t go to church.

The church has accept some many lies that the circus”church” fathers declare as right. Now we have to really dig deep and study to show ourselves approved. Hebrews 10:25 says, “… not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as is the manner of some, but exhorting one another, and so much the more as you see the Day approaching” (emphasis added). It is likely that you’ve heard this verse many times, especially in the past couple of years. As the Gospel continues to spread to every corner of the earth, the “do not forsake assembling” looks different than it used to. Yet it is still necessary. Why is assembling necessary? Paul says it in the verse… “much more so as you see the Day approaching.” The “Day” is the day of Jesus’ return. We are to apply this verse even more so as His return draws near. Assembling happens not only in churches but also in church houses, small group settings, and gatherings with other believers. There is wisdom and a warning in God’s Word to gather “more so as you see the Day approaching
The worst is when pastors say you are cursed because you don’t bring 10% of your income to his church. Basically he is cursing his own church and people. We are not Jewish farmers, we are not under the Jewish law and Jesus Christ set us free from the curse of the law. We are free to give us we decide in our hearts. 2Co 9:6,7 But this I say: He who sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and he who sows bountifully will also reap bountifully. So let each one give as he purposes in his heart, not grudgingly or of necessity; for God loves a cheerful giver.

I don't go to church but I do understand and believe in God and you can pray to him about solving your problems (in my opinion). These pastors now just use their members to make a bunch of money and brag about it to their faces it seems like. That's only one part of the problem with today's church. Then it's a bunch of scandals about a lot of these pastors that are sick as hell or just straight hypocrites. A lot of these churches are family and man made keep it in the family, even though God can still use them. Thy know most people love to be entertained and not fed. People are easy to be deceived since they're educated now and are more comfortable exspiclally in the African American church. I think the fact that lot of pastors that went into the ministry in the beginning, went with the intention of saving souls, and working for God, but somewhere along the line they became more like the world than Christians. I haven’t been to church in years because I’ve lost faith in pastors, but I pray, and I talk to the Lord almost every day. A lot of pastors have tremendously lost their way, and they turned their heart to the world and greed instead of the Lord. one thing I always hated was when the church worshiped the pastor, they would roll the red carpet and act like the pastor was God instead of a servant of God. why are they doing that? that turns my stomach because they are no better than us. A pastor is a servant of the Lord Jesus Christ. he’s no better than us. God doesn’t see Pastors greater then the congregation, he sees us all the same but the congregation starts worshiping the pastors like a God that’s when pastors start seeing themselves as though they are God so the people have a lot to do with why things are turning out bad, because they’re taking their eyes away from the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, and their focusing on the pastor, the pastor is no better than the rest of us understand that congregations and that is not right.
They pastors are held to a higher standard. They are the Shepard they are to feed the sheep and make sure the wolves don't puck them off..etc. There's supposed to be a separation from the godly and ungodly. It can't be both.
I remember at one time I used to feel sorry for the people in the church being misled by these pastors. But what I’ve learned is, God is giving those people their heart desires.

Great comment no one whats to suffer but it's a part of salvation. Get to know God for yourself but sometimes you need to be guided until you get there. Believe not every spirit but try the spirits if they be of God. Every In the building is not in the body and this has nothing to do with titles. You have to remember if God don't draw them they can't come and there is such a thing as standing in the way of sinners, even some people will use what other's do as an excuse but not all people. You have to find the right church not just the name church. Your main gold is to have the church in you. We're in living in a time now that the banks and feds are calling people that purchase Bibles extremist that purchase them. In other words persecution is coming and you'd better have the word in you and God's Spirit in you not just go to a building, but bring God into your homes as well.

I live in a small town and go to a small country church. We don't have a big crowd...less than 20 people. What we have is people that are genuine sold out believers in Jesus!
I am not a Christian, but a child of my Lord Jesus Christ. I grew up in church, but I stopped going when I they started making me say thank you Jesus fast to receive the Holy Ghost, so I did it and the Deacon of the church told me to stop playing with God. I was so hurt not to mention felt like a fool for even doing it. I was already saved and the gospel let's us know that the Father, son and Holy Spirit is a trinity, when you receive one you receive them all. I am still learning except God is the only one teaching, stay strong and God bless.

Relatable. A lot of women at my church have become very catty and angry. So I switched to churches. The problem is, the pastor is not as good. I just do what I can.
When i saw this, the scripture about Jesus flipping tables and smashing things saying, how dare you turn my fathers house into this mess! Not verbatim, but you know the point im trying to make. Keep up the good work in your videos. People really need to see this and call it out for what truly is, not of God.

I prefer a more old school church gathering like I grew up in. I like Bible teaching from the Bible text. I want to hear the Bible talk. I like Bible hymns and psalms that fill the room with the Spirit of God. I like the clapping, joyful hymns too. I really couldn't sit in the theatrical and concert style places that you have shown.
The great falling away seems to be happening. I would much rather spend time with the Lord in prayer, in his word than in these deceptive churches. The Lord still helps me fellowship with believers. But church does not save you, Lord Jesus does. I'm so done. Lord Jesus is coming soon. Keep fighting the good fight brothers and sisters.
Does the bible talk about the great spreading of the gospel. Most of the world was introduced to the gospel by genocide and slavery. That is what made the gospel so popular. My folks found the gospel through a slave master... All the Brothas and Sistas in the Caribbean found the gospel through a Spanish speaking slave master. Many Europeans were just slaughtered into believing the gospel. The falling away seems to be much more peaceful than what brought so many nations to the gospels. Fear and oppression brought us to Christianity. Christians are not going around killing and enslaving folks anymore so people are falling away. To maintain something often times you must do what you did to get it to keep it.

I invited ppl 2 my old church & that's the one Sunday the pastor spent the WHOLE service talking about 💰 & was getting money from ppl & I mean thousands $$$ I was so embarrassed. He stayed on 💰 & fame after that service. I left that church! I've been praying 4 my dad & brother's 2 get back in (a real church) They refuse 2 go because of churches like this. They see these mega churches & refuse 2 go. They watch social media & laugh at them all the time.
People don't go to church because they don't want to go. There are healthy ministries out here. If they really want to find one they will pray & let God lead them to those on the right track glorifying Him.

For many do say that they believe in Jesus, but it is only in their minds, and in their false confession, and not from a changed heart. Psalm 51:17 says a broken and contrite heart you, God, will not despise. Going through the emotions does not please God. God knows a hypocrite when he see one. And that is why Jesus was strict with the scribes and pharisees, calling them snakes and vipers. And Jesus has warned all who profess to know him, that unless our righteousness go beyond the righteousness of the scribes and pharisees, will never enter the kingdom of heaven. They knew what God had said in the writings Moses but did not obey. And wr know that obedience is better than sacrifices. For it is, written from the heart, men believe onto righteousness, (doing what is right), and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. (Not the other way around). And yes salvation is a free gift from God, through faith, and it is Gods dom Amen. Love you.
Corey, I agree with you to an extent. One thing that I was taught was that being a Christian is not an identity marker, it's a lifestyle. Going to church every Sunday makes you no more of a Christian than going to doctor's office makes you a doctor. Both require work and a commitment to the job.
I agree! They are so caught up with get rich quick schemes & fame they will do and say just about anything to get people to "come in". No where in the Living Word are we called to go to church. Now we are called to be the church, a living and willing reflection of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. If the Holy Spirit is our guide and teacher in truth why do we need to rely on man to teach us? I understand coming together to fellowship but all this other stuff I believe it's all about everyone getting paid. I see more preachers and pastors claiming God called them to teach 🤦🏾♀️.
Christianity says that there are three Gods, whereas Jesus Christ is a great prophet who says that God is one. He cannot be the son of God. The owner of the huge universe does not need children. The murder of Jesus. God saved him from his enemies and rose to the sky. Jesus Christ has miracles. He was born without a father, he spoke when he was a baby in the cradle and said, "I am a prophet, Allah is one." The last religion is Islam, I recommend you to research it.
The problem with many of you is that you obviously don't know what a Christian is or a church. A church is an assembly of believers who have come together to worship Jesus Christ, be it a home, in caves or the catacombs of ancient Rome. Jesus plainly said "Where two or three are gathered in my name, there am I in the midst of them" he said this way before the early Christians were eventually blessed to have what we call church buildings today. Any so-called Christian who does not have a desire to come together with other Christians to worship the Lord, well, something is seriously wrong with them. The Bible plainly tells Christians "Not to forsake the assembly of ourselves together AS SOME HAVE" Hebrews 10:25... There's strength in numbers, we draw it and encouragement from one another. No soldier can make it alone in the battlefield, fight and win a war by himself.. Let's stop making excuses for not going to church, if you're a Christian, YOU ARE THE CHURCH. Jesus isn't coming back for a building you worship in. So let's obey God, and FORSAKE NOT THE ASSEMBLY OF OURSELVES TOGETHER AS THE MANNER OF SOME IS.. That's what Christians do.. Be honest, many of us simply don't want to go to church with other believers and make up ALL KINDS of excuses.. What's sad, there are Christians in North Korea, China and Iraq and Afghanistan, who wish they had a church building to come together and worship the Lord.. American Christians need to wake up. We don't realize how blessed we are and take it for granted that we even have church buildings to go too.

I stopped going to the church, because of all the jumping around and acting a fool in it. I'm not going to sit in a church that is not feeding me God's words. if you look around today, that's what a lot of these churches are all about right now as you showed in your video. It is hard to find a church that is actually teaching the real word of God, until I find that church that really worship God. I'll be home, reading the bible and believe in him to direct my path. I don't want to be put in some category, the reason why I'm not going to church is because I don't love God. I love God, I've been to a lot of churches. I even been to Creflo Dollar Church, and I listen to Joyce Meyer and some others. And I found that they did not tell the truth about God. It didn't turn me off of God, it turned me off of them. I still seek out God, I still look and listen, that's how I found you. I read and learn the Bible, but I'm praying and believe in God to lead me to a church that is real that is of him. My thing is I don't want you to put everybody in that same category because they're not in church, that's not fair. I believe you need to word that different because you don't know everyone's situation, so you can't judge. Everyone that's not in a church, doesn't mean that they don't love God. I mean no disrespect to you, but this is just how I feel.
You don’t go to church. Do you still go to the store? Do you still go to the movies? Because sinners are jumping around (sometimes violently) in those buildings too? Why is church the outlier and not the rest of society?

God is calling His people out of those buildings! Because He never set them up. Gathering with saints does not require a church building, just look at the early christians and they definitely were a lot closer to God than most people who call themselves christians today. Don’t let anyone’s opinion or words pressure you into going back. If you have repented, been baptized in Yehoshua’s name and filled with the Holy Ghost (Acts2:38), you are saved. And honestly you only need 1 other person to gather with. Yehoshua said where 2 or 3 are gathered, He is in the midst. It can even be other saved family members -you don’t need a lot. A couple of y’all can get together and praise the Lord, read the scriptures and encourage one another.
“Church” is a people not a building or institution. You can meet with other believers anywhere like a home or a park or wherever and that is the church, when believers in Christ come together in His Name. I respectfully disagree with you saying that those who don’t attend a building regularly aren’t His sheep. In fact I got closer and learned more about the Bible since leaving that “church” building where I attended for years and years and didn’t learn anything except that I need to tithe to the church if I want to be “blessed.” I know not every single church is this way but those are becoming less and less. I believe the Lord will always seek out His sheep no matter where they are. I love my Lord Jesus and follow him even though I don’t attend the building labeled a “church.” I do appreciate your videos in exposing these false wolves, thank you.
I agree with your definition of church. ❤ However, I believe too many Christians have misunderstood what it means to make Jesus their LORD. Christianity is a monarchy, not a democracy. True followers of Christ have no life of their own (Galatians 2:20). They live life according to how Jesus directs them. Jesus also said, "if you love Me, obey Me." If we make decisions and then ask God to bless those decisions, we have made ourselves Lord. 😮 So if you have asked Jesus where to go, and He has led you to this group rather than a God appointed church, great! But, if not, you could be putting your soul at risk of not having a proper spiritual covering, and you could be hurting a particular body of Christ by being the missing part. Everyone has a purpose as part of the body. All parts are necessary and important. And yes, many churches sadly do not acknowledge individuals as being an integral part of their particular church. But, it's our job to work out our own salvation with fear and trembling, not critcize how leaders fall short. Jesus is the only one who can reveal to us what sheepfold we belong to. As long as we are where He tells us to be, then we are in right standing with God. 😊 P.S. Tithing IS optional. However, most churches encourage it because God promises to rebuke the devour for OUR sake (Malachi 3:10) and it always leads to financial freedom. So, no you don't have to tithe. But, your money will most likely end up in the devourer's hands. 😅

There are several types of tongues, one form of tongue is when you can speak in another earthly language that you have never been taught before, and a person who actually speak that language can interpret what you are saying,(this is what happened at Pentecost) another ( which I have) is where you can speak a heavenly language but can translate what you are saying to God ( this is to be used in the church or when praying with someone, so you can tell them what you are praying to God about, especially if you are praying for them. Hi brother you’re absolutely correct… God will use us. My church the youth wasn’t going to Sunday services. Well GOD used me to get the youth to attend Sunday church. It happened and the youth came each Sunday Our walk with God is for us to continuously do what GOD tells us. ❤❤❤.

There is no point in being a part of something that seeks to imitate the world and its ways. Why would anyone seeking the ways of the world settle for an inferior imitation like what today's churches represent? I can't imagine anyone even getting out of bed on Sunday morning for that.

I left church not because I wanted to go, but that it was time to go in 2016, I may of left the church building, but not God, because I am still acitvely seeking Him, and desiring His presence in my life, I still study, worship, do communion at home, give to areas where I am lead to give, and attend a bible study actually on CZcams where I am growing even better than I was at church. Church has changed so much from when I first gave my life to the LORD in 2000, and sadly it's for the worst. Indeed the light must shine in the dark places, but we also must not be where there is sin going on lest God calls us to be there.
I don't go to church anymore. The Lord told me to leave. I have learned in these years that a lot of scriptures are taught wrong. I also realized that I knew very little about walking in the Spirit. Walking in the Spirit has everything to do with doing the Word of God. The more we learn God’s Word and do it, the more we bring our flesh under subjection to the authority of Christ, resulting in our minds being renewed and our flesh conforming to God’s Word. I've never been to a church who taught how to walk in the Spirit. God taught me this in my wilderness season and He uprooted hidden thing's in my heart. I'm just going to continue to trust Him as He is the only One who can save me from eternal damnation. The day is coming where believers will not be able to go to a church building. If your foundation isn't built on Christ (all of His teachings), you will not be able to endure what's gonna take place.
When we want groceries we find groceries, want to vacation we find the right spot, want to go to the movies find a decent theater, want to eat we find a restaurant, so in the same way if we really want to assemble w/ the people of God we will find a true church. Many have become lazy in Zion, you are in disobedience, and will be held accountable. You cannot edify yourself. The devil loves isolation so he can beat you down in your house.

Buying groceries and going to the movies is a lot different than finding the right person to speak to you on behalf of a god. Picking a man to stand between you and your god is crazy but if thats what you need to do then its a very serious task.

I hope some can find a descent church . They all not going to line up with it everything accordingly just because men are in this body however if our spirit can be at peace with the church we do find then God will meet us there until He leads us somewhere else or not . I went to church for many years. I was a "born again" Christian. I finally got sick of the hypocrisy, contradictions, ambiguity, insanity, judgement and sheer nonsense. I've been much happier being out of church and I have no plans to EVER go back!
Church attendance isn't dropping only because people don't believe. I stopped attending church for almost a year after God gave me the insight to understand that Charasmatic theology isn't biblical. It took me that long just to find a bible believing church. For people who are hungry for the Truth of God's Word, there is limited availability for churches that preach Christ instead of self-centered nonsense.
One thing I have to say on Sarah Jake’s behalf is the fact that she definitely planted a seed for me and a lot of other women. I think she is a great motivator and encourager. Now hence, God has since led me to more biblical sound doctrine but I have to say, she definitely has a gift. What she is doing behind closed doors or her inner motives, she has to take that up with God.
I'm glad i am not the only one who feels this way. Its in alot of churches, such confusion...I have personally witnessed clown world in our local churches, and they are NOT attended by many dark skinned individuals. I had the good fortune to sit next to a beautiful little girl using her tiny hands to cover her ears , who after the Easter Service had ended the "Show" , exclaimed out loud for all to hear " Thank God That's Over". She's who i clapped for...
I am glad I am connected to God through Jesus Christ my Lord and Savior. I am not moved by what I am seeing because the Holy Spirit gives me a heads up on everything. I pray, I watch, and I see through discernment. It is not my wisdom but His. This a great time to amp up your prayer life, and seek His face about your “solo” fellowship. We were made to be together in worship. You cannot let the wolves or weeds keep us/you from your assignment in the Body of Christ.
I went to a very popular church about a year ago. I enjoyed it, but I realized the choir singing added on about 1 hr to the service. I know for a fact people go to church to sing and worship, but I did wonder if they could cut SOME of it shorter.
I like the subject matter and feel it's not discussed nearly enough. The issue as I've seen it, is that people find it easier to believe in "God" than reality. You must accept the interpretation of a book in which no one alive was around, and then the speaker usually doesn't connect the teachings to reality. For similar reasons, a lot of people can't understand "The Consitution". The experiences we have in everyday life deal with many complexities, and the average person has a hard time sorting them out (not including those with valid major disruptions in their lives). Church doesn't really bring together faith and reality so it leaves a big hole when you hear this story coming from man. There is no easy path in life but it doesn't mean we give up on it. This issue is very complex but the conversation is a good start.
Corey with respect i don't go to church anymore because of the lack of Christ exhaultation and lack of the word bring preached as well as sin not being preached..i long to fellowship with my brothers and sisters in Christ,true believers who hate sin and are obedient to the word and love the truth..but i dnt want2 just go to any church just to belong i want what God wants..i pray He leads me to the real followers of Christ,until then i continue at home to read the bible,pray,study the word as best i can relying on the Holy Spirit to teach me and ofcourse teachers like you i'm grateful for🙏i love the Lord with all my heart but i can't risk myself being deceived by wolves and charlatans..God bless you brother and your ministry❤🙏
Well said,church is the body of Christ not the building. Continue to seek the Most High. We have the scripture to read understand with help of the Holy Spirit that will led us to all truth the pastor. We have been given the Holy Spirit!!!
Then this is my advice: find a good spot to meet up at, like a park or coffee shop. Then invite as many of your brethren as are willing to have a simple bible study at that particular spot at a certain time.
Ehhh, I am little curious though, we Protestants and Evangelicals don't worship on the Sabbath (Saturday), because on the 3rd day Jesus rose from the dead! And the account of the Resurrection is SUPER essential to core Christian doctrine. So I am curious, how does the day being commanded in order to observe fit in with the NT?
I am saved. I do want to go to church. I do hear His voice. I don't want to dance or be in plays or fall down or any of the stuff you showed here Corey. What church do you go to that isn't in love with the world? I don't want to go and see rock bands or women in tight jeans on stage either. It Just wasn't like that the first 40 years of my life. Well if it was, It was easy to find a church that didn't do this stuff.

It doesn’t matter what you say you’re in disobedience. U cannot step over what God asked of us. When you see him face to face your excuses won’t be good enough. In my day, if you were a certain size, some of the most revealing clothes were not sold in that size. I used to wear the most revealing as a teenager and young adult, and looking back, I regretted it.

The latest incident I've seen that turned me off is a whole church of women wilding out and a male deacon who was moderating tried to call for order in the church (80% women) and an female evangelist took the mic and said to him that the Holy Spirit told her that the moment wasn't for him so he can sit down, basically. 🤦🏾♂️ that was so wrong.

You also don't need a church building to have a gathering place. Nor do you need any fancy theatrics like what's in most modern "churches" these days. A simple backyard or park setting, with a nearby enclosed meeting room (for inclement weather), will suffice.
You can say what you want, but I AM NOT going to ANY church just to do it. We are to use discernment and use sound judgment in who we choose to be our spiritual leaders. To go to church just to go and then ignore the things that are going on if it's a mockery to God is not sound judgment.

When i go to church my main focus is on the word that is being preached, if it lines up with the word in the bible, my mind is focus on the cross, not what's going on around me how other worship or don't worship. My main focus is Jesus, I also love to praise and worship lifting up the name of my Lord also being around like minded believers.

I still believe in God myself, but calling myself a Christian and associating myself with the mess I see, is something I can't do. This is why young people like myself state that we are spiritual, not religious. The church has fallen massively and what's worse is the hypocrisy and discrimination that comes from the church. As an ordinary JW I got to a meeting consisting of ,, a public talk from a speaker, not a priest , not a reverend, not a pastor. Just a fellow brother as myself. My pastor which is my husband have a preaching, teaching Ministry and we do not have a large ministry, because we will not give into performances and foolishness just to get people in the building My grandmother once said to me while I was dating, "the thing you do to get the man is what you have to do to keep him". I had a hard time finding a church. I thought I had found one I liked. Fast forward to this past Sunday and the pastor talked about football and tithing for the first 35 minutes of the service... THEN finished off by saying he was vetting a new candidate running for governor and said candidate will be talking to people after the service. Smfh. When did it start being ok for churches to vet political candidates???

Also some people cant afford to go to church. Going to hear the word & fellowship with other believers should not be a financial decision. Some pastors guilt you if you are unable to give; therefore, they avoid it all together & read the word at home getting their own revelation.

If we are choosing the church, we would not be a Son of God...and Jesus clearly would not be our Shepherd. As many as are LED by the Spirit of God, THEY are the Sons of God. Jesus said "my sheep hear My Voice and they FOLLOW me." Ask Jesus where to go, and He will lead you to where God's Spirit and Presence will be. THAT'S the evidence of God's TRUE church where GOD'S TRUTH is being taught/preached.

You can have your own Bible study as a small group and worship the Lord also. A lot of teaching in the prosperity gospel churches turns me off.

I grew up as a pk. I’ve watched my dad as a pastor my whole life . I can truly say he was a real man of God and when he prophesied to people he was always accurate . He never asked people for money , he often gave the cost off his back and shoes off his feet. Our church helped members secure down payments for houses . He passed away and he showed what I truly means to be a man of God .

Hebrews 10:25 says, “… not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as is the manner of some, but exhorting one another, and so much the more as you see the Day approaching” (emphasis added). It is likely that you’ve heard this verse many times, especially in the past couple of years. As the Gospel continues to spread to every corner of the earth, the “do not forsake assembling” looks different than it used to. Yet it is still necessary.
Why is assembling necessary?
Paul says it in the verse… “much more so as you see the Day approaching.” The “Day” is the day of Jesus’ return. We are to apply this verse even more so as His return draws near.
Assembling happens not only in churches but also in church houses, small group settings, and gatherings with other believers. There is wisdom and a warning in God’s Word to gather “more so as you see the Day approaching
The worst is when pastors say you are cursed because you don’t bring 10% of your income to his church. Basically he is cursing his own church and people.
We are not Jewish farmers, we are not under the Jewish law and Jesus Christ set us free from the curse of the law. We are free to give us we decide in our hearts.

I think the fact that lot of pastors that went into the ministry in the beginning, went with the intention of saving souls, and working for God, but somewhere along the line they became more like the world than Christians. I haven’t been to church in years because I’ve lost faith in pastors, but I pray, and I talk to the Lord almost every day. A lot of pastors have tremendously lost their way, and they turned their heart to the world and greed instead of the Lord. one thing I always hated was when the church worshiped the pastor, they would roll the red carpet and act like the pastor was God instead of a servant of God. why are they doing that? that turns my stomach because they are no better than us. A pastor is a servant of the Lord Jesus Christ. he’s no better than us. God doesn’t see Pastors greater then the congregation, he sees us all the same but the congregation starts worshiping the pastors like a God that’s when pastors start seeing themselves as though they are God so the people have a lot to do with why things are turning out bad, because they’re taking their eyes away from the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, and their focusing on the pastor, the pastor is no better than the rest of us understand that congregations and that is not right.
They pastors are held to a higher standard. They are the Shepard they are to feed the sheep and make sure the wolves don't puck them off..etc. There's supposed to be a separation from the godly and ungodly. It can't be both.
I remember at one time I used to feel sorry for the people in the church being misled by these pastors. But what I’ve learned is, God is giving those people their heart desires.

I am not a Christian, but a child of my Lord Jesus Christ. I grew up in church, but I stopped going when I they started making me say thank you Jesus fast to receive the Holy Ghost, so I did it and the Deacon of the church told me to stop playing with God. I was so hurt not to mention felt like a fool for even doing it. I was already saved and the gospel let's us know that the Father, son and Holy Spirit is a trinity, when you receive one you receive them all. I am still learning except God is the only one teaching, stay strong and God bless.

Relatable. A lot of women at my church have become very catty and angry. So I switched to churches. The problem is, the pastor is not as good. I just do what I can.

I've been to churches. And then I stopped. And I figured out that the church lives in me. The holy Spirit help me out with that thank you Holly.
I prefer a more old school church gathering like I grew up in. I like Bible teaching from the Bible text. I want to hear the Bible talk. I like Bible hymns and psalms that fill the room with the Spirit of God. I like the clapping, joyful hymns too. I really couldn't sit in the theatrical and concert style places that you have shown.
The great falling away seems to be happening. I would much rather spend time with the Lord in prayer, in his word than in these deceptive churches. The Lord still helps me fellowship with believers. But church does not save you, Lord Jesus does. I'm so done. Lord Jesus is coming soon. Keep fighting the good fight brothers and sisters.

Does the bible talk about the great spreading of the gospel. Most of the world was introduced to the gospel by genocide and slavery. That is what made the gospel so popular. My folks found the gospel through a slave master... All the Brothas and Sistas in the Caribbean found the gospel through a Spanish speaking slave master. Many Europeans were just slaughtered into believing the gospel. The falling away seems to be much more peaceful than what brought so many nations to the gospels.
Fear and oppression brought us to Christianity. Christians are not going around killing and enslaving folks anymore so people are falling away. To maintain something often times you must do what you did to get it to keep it.
I'm sorry but what you are saying is not scriptural! God LOVES His church! Read Hebrews 10:25. We can form our many opinions BUT God ask us to be obedient to His WORD! And, yes, we see changes because Jesus is coming soon and He told us these things will come to past but we still have a responsibility to take care of His house until He comes back!🙏❤️

🎯 It's sad because they're pushing so many away from God. I invited ppl 2 my old church & that's the one Sunday the pastor spent the WHOLE service talking about 💰 & was getting money from ppl & I mean thousands $$$ I was so embarrassed. He stayed on 💰 & fame after that service. I left that church! I've been praying 4 my dad & brother's 2 get back in (a real church) They refuse 2 go because of churches like this. They see these mega churches & refuse 2 go. They watch social media & laugh at them all the time.
Wow! This was good! I've been talking to my wife about this subject. I'm going to share this as homework for my church to watch.
People don't go to church because they don't want to go. There are healthy ministries out here. If they really want to find one they will pray & let God lead them to those on the right track glorifying Him.

I attend a beautiful ministry. The people are givers because our offerings are building our community. Our Pastor & his wife have jobs. They are givers too yet we still have ppl looking for something to complain about.
I like going to church. But there has been times I’m side eyeing & I’m reminded to keep my focus on God and use my discernment with the pastors and ministries

For many do say that they believe in Jesus, but it is only in their minds, and in their false confession, and not from a changed heart. Psalm 51:17 says a broken and contrite heart you, God, will not despise. Going through the emotions does not please God. God knows a hypocrite when he see one. And that is why Jesus was strict with the scribes and pharisees, calling them snakes and vipers. And Jesus has warned all who profess to know him, that unless our righteousness go beyond the righteousness of the scribes and pharisees, will never enter the kingdom of heaven. They knew what God had said in the writings Moses but did not obey. And wr know that obedience is better than sacrifices. For it is, written from the heart, men believe onto righteousness, (doing what is right), and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. (Not the other way around). And yes salvation is a free gift from God, through faith, and it is Gods dom Amen. Love you.

Corey, I agree with you to an extent. One thing that I was taught was that being a Christian is not an identity marker, it's a lifestyle.
Going to church every Sunday makes you no more of a Christian than going to doctor's office makes you a doctor.
Both require work and a commitment to the job.

I agree! They are so caught up with get rich quick schemes & fame they will do and say just about anything to get people to "come in". No where in the Living Word are we called to go to church. Now we are called to be the church, a living and willing reflection of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. If the Holy Spirit is our guide and teacher in truth why do we need to rely on man to teach us? I understand coming together to fellowship but all this other stuff I believe it's all about everyone getting paid. I see more preachers and pastors claiming God called them to teach 🤦🏾♀️.
Christianity says that there are three Gods, whereas Jesus Christ is a great prophet who says that God is one. He cannot be the son of God. The owner of the huge universe does not need children. The murder of Jesus. God saved him from his enemies and rose to the sky. Jesus Christ has miracles. He was born without a father, he spoke when he was a baby in the cradle and said, "I am a prophet, Allah is one." The last religion is Islam, I recommend you to research it.
The problem with many of you is that you obviously don't know what a Christian is or a church. A church is an assembly of believers who have come together to worship Jesus Christ, be it a home, in caves or the catacombs of ancient Rome. Jesus plainly said "Where two or three are gathered in my name, there am I in the midst of them" he said this way before the early Christians were eventually blessed to have what we call church buildings today. Any so-called Christian who does not have a desire to come together with other Christians to worship the Lord, well, something is seriously wrong with them. The Bible plainly tells Christians "Not to forsake the assembly of ourselves together AS SOME HAVE" Hebrews 10:25... There's strength in numbers, we draw it and encouragement from one another. No soldier can make it alone in the battlefield, fight and win a war by himself.. Let's stop making excuses for not going to church, if you're a Christian, YOU ARE THE CHURCH. Jesus isn't coming back for a building you worship in. So let's obey God, and FORSAKE NOT THE ASSEMBLY OF OURSELVES TOGETHER AS THE MANNER OF SOME IS.. That's what Christians do.. Be honest, many of us simply don't want to go to church with other believers and make up ALL KINDS of excuses.. What's sad, there are Christians in North Korea, China and Iraq and Afghanistan, who wish they had a church building to come together and worship the Lord.. American Christians need to wake up. We don't realize how blessed we are and take it for granted that we even have church buildings to go too.

I stopped going to the church, because of all the jumping around and acting a fool in it. I'm not going to sit in a church that is not feeding me God's words. if you look around today, that's what a lot of these churches are all about right now as you showed in your video. It is hard to find a church that is actually teaching the real word of God, until I find that church that really worship God. I'll be home, reading the bible and believe in him to direct my path. I don't want to be put in some category, the reason why I'm not going to church is because I don't love God. I love God, I've been to a lot of churches. I even been to Creflo Dollar Church, and I listen to Joyce Meyer and some others. And I found that they did not tell the truth about God. It didn't turn me off of God, it turned me off of them. I still seek out God, I still look and listen, that's how I found you. I read and learn the Bible, but I'm praying and believe in God to lead me to a church that is real that is of him. My thing is I don't want you to put everybody in that same category because they're not in church, that's not fair. I believe you need to word that different because you don't know everyone's situation, so you can't judge. Everyone that's not in a church, doesn't mean that they don't love God. I mean no disrespect to you, but this is just how I feel.

God is calling His people out of those buildings! Because He never set them up. Gathering with saints does not require a church building, just look at the early christians and they definitely were a lot closer to God than most people who call themselves christians today.

If you have repented, been baptized in Yehoshua’s name and filled with the Holy Ghost (Acts2:38), you are saved. And honestly you only need 1 other person to gather with. Yehoshua said where 2 or 3 are gathered, He is in the midst. It can even be other saved family members -you don’t need a lot. A couple of y’all can get together and praise the Lord, read the scriptures and encourage one another.
“Church” is a people not a building or institution. You can meet with other believers anywhere like a home or a park or wherever and that is the church, when believers in Christ come together in His Name. I respectfully disagree with you saying that those who don’t attend a building regularly aren’t His sheep. In fact I got closer and learned more about the Bible since leaving that “church” building where I attended for years and years and didn’t learn anything except that I need to tithe to the church if I want to be “blessed.” I know not every single church is this way but those are becoming less and less. I believe the Lord will always seek out His sheep no matter where they are. I love my Lord Jesus and follow him even though I don’t attend the building labeled a “church.” I do appreciate your videos in exposing these false wolves, thank you.

I agree with your definition of church. ❤ However, I believe too many Christians have misunderstood what it means to make Jesus their LORD. Christianity is a monarchy, not a democracy. True followers of Christ have no life of their own (Galatians 2:20). They live life according to how Jesus directs them. Jesus also said, "if you love Me, obey Me." If we make decisions and then ask God to bless those decisions, we have made ourselves Lord. 😮 So if you have asked Jesus where to go, and He has led you to this group rather than a God appointed church, great! But, if not, you could be putting your soul at risk of not having a proper spiritual covering, and you could be hurting a particular body of Christ by being the missing part. Everyone has a purpose as part of the body. All parts are necessary and important. And yes, many churches sadly do not acknowledge individuals as being an integral part of their particular church. But, it's our job to work out our own salvation with fear and trembling, not critcize how leaders fall short. Jesus is the only one who can reveal to us what sheepfold we belong to. As long as we are where He tells us to be, then we are in right standing with God. 😊 P.S. Tithing IS optional. However, most churches encourage it because God promises to rebuke the devour for OUR sake (Malachi 3:10) and it always leads to financial freedom. So, no you don't have to tithe. But, your money will most likely end up in the devourer's hands. 😅

There is no point in being a part of something that seeks to imitate the world and its ways. Why would anyone seeking the ways of the world settle for an inferior imitation like what today's churches represent? I can't imagine anyone even getting out of bed on Sunday morning for that.

I left church not because I wanted to go, but that it was time to go in 2016, I may of left the church building, but not God, because I am still acitvely seeking Him, and desiring His presence in my life, I still study, worship, do communion at home, give to areas where I am lead to give, and attend a bible study actually on CZcams where I am growing even better than I was at church. Church has changed so much from when I first gave my life to the LORD in 2000, and sadly it's for the worst. Indeed the light must shine in the dark places, but we also must not be where there is sin going on lest God calls us to be there.
We will always be among sinful people...that's why Jesus said we are the light of the world.

I don't go to church anymore. The Lord told me to leave. I have learned in these years that a lot of scriptures are taught wrong. I also realized that I knew very little about walking in the Spirit. Walking in the Spirit has everything to do with doing the Word of God. The more we learn God’s Word and do it, the more we bring our flesh under subjection to the authority of Christ, resulting in our minds being renewed and our flesh conforming to God’s Word. I've never been to a church who taught how to walk in the Spirit. God taught me this in my wilderness season and He uprooted hidden thing's in my heart. I'm just going to continue to trust Him as He is the only One who can save me from eternal damnation. The day is coming where believers will not be able to go to a church building. If your foundation isn't built on Christ (all of His teachings), you will not be able to endure what's gonna take place.

Many have become lazy in Zion, you are in disobedience, and will be held accountable. You cannot edify yourself. The devil loves isolation so he can beat you down in your house.

Buying groceries and going to the movies is a lot different than finding the right person to speak to you on behalf of a god. Picking a man to stand between you and your god is crazy but if thats what you need to do then its a very serious task.

I hope some can find a descent church . They all not going to line up with it everything accordingly just because men are in this body however if our spirit can be at peace with the church we do find then God will meet us there until He leads us somewhere else or not . I went to church for many years. I was a "born again" Christian. I finally got sick of the hypocrisy, contradictions, ambiguity, insanity, judgement and sheer nonsense. I've been much happier being out of church and I have no plans to EVER go back!

Church attendance isn't dropping only because people don't believe. I stopped attending church for almost a year after God gave me the insight to understand that Charasmatic theology isn't biblical. It took me that long just to find a bible believing church. For people who are hungry for the Truth of God's Word, there is limited availability for churches that preach Christ instead of self-centered nonsense.
One thing I have to say on Sarah Jake’s behalf is the fact that she definitely planted a seed for me and a lot of other women. I think she is a great motivator and encourager. Now hence, God has since led me to more biblical sound doctrine but I have to say, she definitely has a gift. What she is doing behind closed doors or her inner motives, she has to take that up with God.
I'm glad i am not the only one who feels this way. Its in alot of churches, such confusion...I have personally witnessed clown world in our local churches, and they are NOT attended by many dark skinned individuals. I had the good fortune to sit next to a beautiful little girl using her tiny hands to cover her ears , who after the Easter Service had ended the "Show" , exclaimed out loud for all to hear " Thank God That's Over". She's who i clapped for...

I am glad I am connected to God through Jesus Christ my Lord and Savior. I am not moved by what I am seeing because the Holy Spirit gives me a heads up on everything. I pray, I watch, and I see through discernment. It is not my wisdom but His. This a great time to amp up your prayer life, and seek His face about your “solo” fellowship. We were made to be together in worship. You cannot let the wolves or weeds keep us/you from your assignment in the Body of Christ.
I went to a very popular church about a year ago. I enjoyed it, but I realized the choir singing added on about 1 hr to the service. I know for a fact people go to church to sing and worship, but I did wonder if they could cut SOME of it shorter.
These so called pastors have tried to destroy Christianity. God will not be mocked nor disrespected

I like the subject matter and feel it's not discussed nearly enough. The issue as I've seen it, is that people find it easier to believe in "God" than reality. You must accept the interpretation of a book in which no one alive was around, and then the speaker usually doesn't connect the teachings to reality. For similar reasons, a lot of people can't understand "The Consitution". The experiences we have in everyday life deal with many complexities, and the average person has a hard time sorting them out (not including those with valid major disruptions in their lives). Church doesn't really bring together faith and reality so it leaves a big hole when you hear this story coming from man. There is no easy path in life but it doesn't mean we give up on it. This issue is very complex but the conversation is a good start.

Corey with respect i don't go to church anymore because of the lack of Christ exhaultation and lack of the word bring preached as well as sin not being preached..i long to fellowship with my brothers and sisters in Christ,true believers who hate sin and are obedient to the word and love the truth..but i dnt want2 just go to any church just to belong i want what God wants..i pray He leads me to the real followers of Christ,until then i continue at home to read the bible,pray,study the word as best i can relying on the Holy Spirit to teach me and ofcourse teachers like you i'm grateful for🙏i love the Lord with all my heart but i can't risk myself being deceived by wolves and charlatans..God bless you brother and your ministry❤🙏
Well said,church is the body of Christ not the building. Continue to seek the Most High. We have the scripture to read understand with help of the Holy Spirit that will led us to all truth the pastor. We have been given the Holy Spirit!!!
Then this is my advice: find a good spot to meet up at, like a park or coffee shop. Then invite as many of your brethren as are willing to have a simple bible study at that particular spot at a certain time.

That's why I started going to the Seventh Day Adventist church. Very conservative. Plus, is the Sabbath the day ordain to observe .
Ehhh, I am little curious though, we Protestants and Evangelicals don't worship on the Sabbath (Saturday), because on the 3rd day Jesus rose from the dead! And the account of the Resurrection is SUPER essential to core Christian doctrine. So I am curious, how does the day being commanded in order to observe fit in with the NT?

I am saved. I do want to go to church. I do hear His voice. I don't want to dance or be in plays or fall down or any of the stuff you showed here Corey. What church do you go to that isn't in love with the world? I don't want to go and see rock bands or women in tight jeans on stage either. It Just wasn't like that the first 40 years of my life. Well if it was, It was easy to find a church that didn't do this stuff.
I'm right there with you. I study the Bible everyday. I talk all the time to my kids about The Lord. I went to so many churches. They were all the same.
There are some great Bible teaching pastors on CZcams. That’s what I watch every week.

@JesusisKing03 The way he addressed the subject may have been too critical, but some need to be told how to dress appropriately. In my day, if you were a certain size, some of the most revealing clothes were not sold in that size. I used to wear the most revealing as a teenager and young adult, and looking back, I regretted it.

I agree with you . I do not go to church for the same reason. Keep reading the Bible for yourself. Also continue to pray without ceasing. Be strong in the Lord and in the power of his might. Stay encouraged always remember God loves you.

The latest incident I've seen that turned me off is a whole church of women wilding out and a male deacon who was moderating tried to call for order in the church (80% women) and an female evangelist took the mic and said to him that the Holy Spirit told her that the moment wasn't for him so he can sit down, basically. 🤦🏾♂️ that was so wrong.
The amount of hubris is what gets me. That the truly believe they can command God and the heavenly host to do their earthly bidding.
The Lord lives Within Me I don't need no other person telling me about the Lord😮😅

My God. It' so interesting to see so many people in the comment section talking about the church. WOW! I thought it was just me being hard on the church. May the God of Heaven and earth touch each of our hearts, mind, spirit and soul, and may he in HIS timing restore our faith and confidence in the church, knowing and trusting that God always have a ram in the bush. And while many of us wait for his direction, may he draw us closer to him by the power of his holy Spirit and keep us in his presence and never allow us to be deceived or tricked by the enemy. May the FOUNDATION and TRUTH that God placed within us by the power of his Spirit NEVER depart from us, nor will it ever allow us to play with God's word, be carnal minded, and may we NEVER allow it to be compromised no matter if it seems as if we're going in the opposite direction ALONE!
You can't blame others for you not going to church. You are responsible for your own salvation. That's not an excuse for not going.

You also don't need a church building to have a gathering place. Nor do you need any fancy theatrics like what's in most modern "churches" these days.
A simple backyard or park setting, with a nearby enclosed meeting room (for inclement weather), will suffice.

You can say what you want, but I AM NOT going to ANY church just to do it. We are to use discernment and use sound judgment in who we choose to be our spiritual leaders. To go to church just to go and then ignore the things that are going on if it's a mockery to God is not sound judgment.

Hey All we have to Know the Word personally to be saved, for Christ is the Word and the only Way to the Father, and The Holy Spirit leads us into All Truth, and transform us into the image of Christ, The Word......so Yes we need to know The Word, and it's how we try Spirit's by whether it aligns to God's Word.....comes back to Truth, His Word is Truth!!

When i go to church my main focus is on the word that is being preached, if it lines up with the word in the bible, my mind is focus on the cross, not what's going on around me how other worship or don't worship. My main focus is Jesus, I also love to praise and worship lifting up the name of my Lord also being around like minded believers.

I still believe in God myself, but calling myself a Christian and associating myself with the mess I see, is something I can't do. This is why young people like myself state that we are spiritual, not religious. The church has fallen massively and what's worse is the hypocrisy and discrimination that comes from the church. Christians claim not to be apart of world and yet so the same things as the world.
As an ordinary JW I got to a meeting consisting of ,, a public talk from a speaker, not a priest , not a reverend, not a pastor. Just a fellow brother as myself. Then we have a bible study/discussion . Also lead by a brother. During the time a few songs with music composed... yes by more brothers.
When i watched this video, i realize how much I have ..missed out on ??.. by being a Jw? .

My pastor which is my husband have a preaching, teaching Ministry and we do not have a large ministry, because we will not give into performances and foolishness just to get people in the building My grandmother once said to me while I was dating, "the thing you do to get the man is what you have to do to keep him". The same concept is true for churches. Thanks

I had a hard time finding a church. I thought I had found one I liked. Fast forward to this past Sunday and the pastor talked about football and tithing for the first 35 minutes of the service... THEN finished off by saying he was vetting a new candidate running for governor and said candidate will be talking to people after the service. Smfh. When did it start being ok for churches to vet political candidates???
The answer is "never" according to God's Word.

Also some people cant afford to go to church. Going to hear the word & fellowship with other believers should not be a financial decision. Some pastors guilt you if you are unable to give; therefore, they avoid it all together & read the word at home getting their own revelation.
