You need Christ's Holy Spirit to save you. Until then, my Savior will simply be a cross that you can buy from a five and ten cent store. (well, there use to be those kind of stores) Yes, Jesus Saves! But without Christ's Holy Spirit, you'll never experience the Redemptive Power of the Holy Spirit. Humbleness works well with God. From this position, you bring nothing to the table. Absolutely nothing. Which means you bring nothing, towards your ability to receive God's Grace for Salvation. He doesn't need your help. We're the ones who are stuck in this mess to begin with.

Calvinism only sees one side. They're right, for example, that a man's will is bound by sin, so it can not choose Christ apart from the work of the Holy Spirit. But the Spirit was sent "to convict the world", so that some choose to yield to the Spirit, while others continually resist Him by their own free choosing. God's sovereignty is God's business, and human responsibility is ours. One does not cancel out the other.

    • @kgar5String
      @kgar5String Před 3 měsíci +1

Your will is not as free as you think it is or you could just chose to never sin again. If you are saved by you decision making ability you are not saved by Grace which is the only way to be saved. If you are saved by the faith you provided you are again not saved by Grace because Ephesians 2 says we are saved by Grace through Faith; and that (Faith) not of yourselves (which is why it is grace), not of works, lest any man should boast. If you provided the faith that is what you can say, I provided the faith (Boasting).

"They left us, because they were never in us," was our Savior's words. Why would anyone in Christ's church, has so much animosity over people, who claim to be Christians as well? I agree with a lot of Calvinism-but I haven’t gotten a badge or tee-shirt stating that I’m a Calvinist. Doesn’t mean I agree with all of it. But I’ve learned so much, and have been tremendously blessed by listening to teachers who claim to be Calvinists, or agree with Calvinism; but they put their faith in Christ-not Calvinism.
I don’t understand why people literally HATE Calvinism and those who’re professing Calvinists. Ive seen and heard so many Christians spewing horrible and damning words towards certain people who are respected and well known Calvinists.
I agree with total depravity, sovereign election, and preservation of the saints. Christ and our Father in Heaven is responsible for my salvation. He caused me to be born again; He’s responsible for me continuing on with my walk with Christ, and me being regenerated. Not only that, I believe that especially during our time, that total depravity is extremely important. I say this because of how extremely prideful our culture is-not to mention, how narcissistic our culture has gotten; the whole idea behind total depravity, (in my humble opinion-so please, I ask anyone who disagrees not to unleash their inner Kraken upon me, just for mentioning this) is a must, and absolutely needed and required to humble us.
    To quote RC Sproul:
“So the idea of total in total depravity doesn’t mean that all human beings are as wicked as they can possibly be. It means that the fall was so serious that it affects the whole person. The fallenness that captures and grips our human nature affects our bodies; that’s why we become ill and die. It affects our minds and our thinking; we still have the capacity to think, but the Bible says the mind has become darkened and weakened. The will of man is no longer in its pristine state of moral power. The will, according to the New Testament, is now in bondage. We are enslaved to the evil impulses and desires of our hearts. The body, the mind, the will, the spirit-indeed, the whole person-have been infected by the power of sin.”
Also, I realized that I needed to stop giving myself credit for choosing Christ. He’s responsible for my faith, and me coming to Him. He gets total credit for absolutely everything.
If my Christian brothers and sisters have hateful words towards me for this-claiming that this makes me a heretic, evil, or devilish for it, then they have a right to their own opinion. But at least I believe that my faith is in Christ. I try to love Him more than anything else in this world, and He works on my heart everyday, so that I can love others as He does. In the end, all glory goes to Him! Hallelujah! ✝️🙏

I think the actual hating of the way John Calvin thought about Scripture, takes a ton of power away from us. It also affects our personal free will, and people really hate that. Me personally, I don't trust me, so I find comfort in the providence of God. Am I a God robot like they say? Well, I'd rather be a God robot (possession) of Christ than put my faith in me. People long ago used to say "Let go and let God." In the me me me generation you don't hear that anymore. When I listened to R.C. Sproll, I found out he don't really understand the predestination of God either. He just reads it the Bible and believes it. People think Calvinists understand it, they don't.

Even amongst the Gentiles, they still looked at people by groups of people in their culture in their day. Our culture today is the opposite, we see people not so much by groups, but as individuals instead.

Think of this world as a movie that has an "in the beginning" and a "the end." God is the producer and director of this movie. He has plugged it in, and now it is playing. He already knows the whole epic story. God is not confined to time the way we are. He sees it all at once. The word "freewill" is nowhere in the Bible. But the terms "will of God" or "His will" are found 35 times. God chose us before we chose Him. We are ordained to salvation, even before we believe.
Acts 13:48 And when the Gentiles heard this, they were glad, and glorified the word of the Lord: and as many as were ordained to eternal life believed.
2 Thessalonians 2:13 But we are bound to give thanks alway to God for you, brethren beloved of the Lord, because God hath from the beginning chosen you to salvation through sanctification of the Spirit and belief of the truth:
Ephesians 1:5 Having predestinated us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to himself, according to the good pleasure of his will,
Ephesians 1:11 In whom also we have obtained an inheritance, being predestinated according to the purpose of him who worketh all things after the counsel of his own will:
Romans 8:29-30 For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren. Moreover whom he did predestinate, them he also called: and whom he called, them he also justified: and whom he justified, them he also glorified.
John 17:24 Father, I will that they also, whom thou has given me, be with me where I am; that they may behold my glory, which thou hast given me: for thou lovedst me before the foundation of the world.
1 Peter 1:2 Elect according to the foreknowledge of God the Father, through sanctification of the Spirit, unto obedience and sprinkling of the blood of Jesus Christ: Grace unto you, and peace, be multiplied.
Ephesians 1:4 According as he has chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love:

I have to ask how do we define holiness?

    • @kgar5String
      @kgar5String Před 3 měsíci

@@watchoutnow5419 First, let’s look at God’s holiness. What does it mean that God is holy? Passages like 1 Samuel 2:2 and Isaiah 6:3 are just two of many examples of passages about God’s holiness. Another way to say it is absolute perfection. God is unlike any other (see Hosea 11:9), and His holiness is the essence of that “otherness.” His very being is completely absent of even a trace of sin (James 1:13; Hebrews 6:18). He is high above any other, and no one can compare to Him (Psalm 40:5). God’s holiness pervades His entire being and shapes all His attributes. His love is a holy love, His mercy is holy mercy, and even His anger and wrath are holy anger and holy wrath. These concepts are difficult for humans to grasp, just as God is difficult for us to understand in His entirety.
what does it mean for us to be holy? When God told Israel to be holy in Leviticus 11 and 19, He was instructing them to be distinct from the other nations by giving them specific regulations to govern their lives. Israel is God’s chosen nation and God has set them apart from all other people groups. They are His special people, and consequently they were given standards that God wanted them to live by so the world would know they belonged to Him. When Peter repeats the Lord’s words in 1 Peter 1:16, he is talking specifically to believers. As believers, we need to be "set apart" from the world unto the Lord. We need to be living by God’s standards, not the world’s. God isn’t calling us to be perfect, but to be distinct from the world. First Peter 2:9 describes believers as "a holy nation." It is a fact! We are separated from the world; we need to live out that reality in our day-to-day lives, which Peter tells us how to do in 1 Peter 1:13-16.
Holiness only results from a right relationship with God by believing in Jesus Christ as Savior (accepting His gift of eternal life). If we have not placed our faith in God’s Son alone to save us from our sins, then our pursuit of holiness is in vain. So, we must first make sure we are born-again believers (see John 3). If we truly are believers, then we recognize that our position in Christ automatically sets us apart from the world (1 Peter 2:9). After all, we have a relationship with the living God! Then we must daily live a set-apart life, not trying to "blend in" with the world, but instead living according to God’s Word as we study the Bible and grow in it.

This was a reasonable presentation done in the Spirit of Christ, unlike much of the banter going on these days. Frankly, I'm sick of the endless accusations of heresy from everybody and their grandmother. I don't agree with some of the points expressed here, but we're not saved by our understanding of things. We're saved by faith through the redemption of Christ, and the witness of the Spirit and the fruit of our lives is evidence of it. To me, the real questions are: do we believe, is the witness in us, and where's the fruit (I John 3:19-24)?. We can argue about the rest of it (and we surely will) until Jesus comes back whenever that may be.

Calvinists simply exalt God's sovereignty over human determinism and recognize that it is God who causes us to come to faith, walk in holiness, and also keeps us in the faith, as is mentioned in 2 Corinthians 3:18 and 1 John 3:9. I also clearly saw this truth in scripture even before I knew what "Calvinism" was.
I am deeply grieved by all the incessant over the top bad-mouthing of Calvinism and slander against Calvinists. With all the true heretical teachers, false Gospels, dangerous doctrine, and false converts invading the visible Church, you'd think some of you could actually recognize when others are on your same team. People are only serving the enemy's agenda by incessantly attacking true brothers and sisters in faith who clearly love the Lord, know and share the gospel, seek to walk consistently in holiness, and hold a high regard for scripture because of disagreement on SECONDARY issues sol that doesn't affect one's understanding of the gospel nor ability to accurately share it. As Corey stated, there are many belief systems that may place someone on the wide path that leads to destruction but Calvinism ain't one of them.
Let's always be mindful of this overarching godly principle:
    1 Corinthians 8:2-3
If anyone imagines that he knows something, he does not yet know as he ought to know. 3 But if anyone loves God, he is known by God.
Contrary to popular belief, most Calvinists take evangelism to EVERYONE quite seriously and preach the actual Gospel, not Tulip. A perfect example is Justin Peters who offers the Gospel in almost every video message, even when correcting and rebuking false teachers. I can't recall him spending any time going over Tulip because it is a secondary belief system not a primary focus of his Christian faith. We all need to seek greater maturity in this area and learn to discern outside of our secondary areas of disagreement and personal theological bias. One may be right that Calvinists are off in certain points on their secondary understanding of Soteriology . . . but scripture says so are most of us who think we've got it all down perfect. The beautiful truth is that God assures us that He knows His own.

What if he did this to make the riches of his glory known to the objects of his mercy, whom he prepared in advance for glory?” (Romans 9:21-23). My experience with calvinism was having a pastor come into ny Baptist church and began teaching & preaching reformed theology. I met with the pastor several times as i was confused as to why the pastor was not teaching Baptist doctrine. The church eventually took the "Baptist" affilliation away from the church. I've since learned this is a common practice among reformed "pastors". I believe this is being intentionally untruthful and underhanded. The majority of the congregation did not know the distinction between Calvinism & Arminianism. I was told by my pastor, in front of the church, that my beliefs were heresy because i believed "the world" in John 3:16 meant unlimited atonement. I do not profess calvinism nor arminianism. I believe the scripture. I agree with you that there are "calvinistic" doctrines that are Biblical. I refer to that as biblical truth. I was told by my pastor that I didn't adhere to calvinistic doctrine because "it doesbt seem fair". To the contrary, I do not adhere to limited atonement because it is not biblical. Doctrine matters. If i knowingly attend a reformed church - ok. When pastors come into a church that is not reformed and have as a goal to change the doctrine of that church- unknowingly to the elders & congregation, that is called manipulation, being intentionally underhanded and untruthful. I believe at best this mindset is "the end justifies the means", at worst its unchristian behavior.

Scripture answers everything, Jesus said all that the father gives me will come to him and he will not lose any of them, God is not going to miss out on anyone he intended to go to heave because of a man. The same person that said God gives him his sheep said preach it to all the world, we don't know who the sheep are and we won't know, Jesus said the Angels will separate the wheat from the tares when Jesus comes.
Jesus said, “No one can come to me unless the Father who sent me draws them” (John 6:44). In other words, the only way we can seek God is if the Holy Spirit has first stirred our hearts with a desire for God. It is God who draws us to Himself. Ephesians 2:8 underscores this truth: “By grace are you saved, through faith, and that not of yourselves. It is the gift of God.” Even the faith to believe for salvation does not originate within our fleshly nature. God enables the fallen human heart to seek Him, when in our own self-centered rebellion we would never do so. Every good thing originates with God (James 1:17). Faith in God is a good thing, and so it also originates with God.
I'm not sure what freedom you are talking about but here is what Jesus said.
The true freedom that Jesus gives is freedom (1) from the penalty of sin-there is no more condemnation for those in Him (Romans 8:1), and no longer are we children of wrath (Ephesians 2:1-3); (2) from the power of sin-no longer are we in bondage to sin, but now we can do righteousness; without faith it is impossible to please Him, but, with faith, we can please Him (Hebrews 11:6); and one day we will be free (3) from the presence of sin-when our eternal life is fulfilled, we will be like Him and without sin (Romans 8:28-30).
If you are talking about free will, if your will was free as we think it is, we could use that will to never sin again, name the person who's will was strong to do so.

      CALVINISM.
      1. T. TOTAL DEPRAVITY
Calvinist, say we are dead, and that we can
Not even respond to God unless he regenerates us.
They turn salvation into a 2 step program,
Get REGENERATED, then get BORN FROM ABOVE.
1st, God does a spiritual work that allows you to see the truth, then if you believe, you are born again.
But the bible says,1 step is needed BELIEVE.

Jesus replied, “Very truly I tell you, no one can see the kingdom of God unless they are born again.”
This total depravity is said to result in a total inability to contribute anything to one’s salvation.

“Truly, truly, I say to you, an hour is coming, and is now here, when (the dead will hear the voice of the Son of God,) and those who HEAR will live.

He Himself is the atoning sacrifice for our sins, and not only for ours but also for the sins of the whole world.
YES, IT'S LIMITED TO WHOEVER WILL RECEIVE IT, BUT ITS OFFERED TO EVERYONE .
      4. I. IRRESISTIBLE GRACE
Grace that cannot be resisted, but its only for the elect.
This is the belief that the elect (those chosen by God) are going to be saved whether they desire to be or not.

This means YOU HAVE TO persevere, hang on, hold fast to, not give up in order to be saved.
      BUT THE BIBLE SAYS.
      New International Version
      1 CORINTHIANS 15:57
But thanks be to God! He gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.
Calvinist make the death burial and resurrection of no effect, because if you are not elect it doesn't matter.
Charles Spurgeon there is no such thing as preaching Christ and him crucified unless we preach what is called CALVINISM.
      What a joke! 🤔
First of all, notice that God gives man his soul (Ecclesiastes 12:7; Zechariah 12:1). Can or would God give a man an evil soul? NO. This would contradict James 1:17 which says that every good and perfect gift comes from God. God does not bring forth evil
      Psalm 51:5, X Psalm 58:3. X GOD IS THE
GIVER OF THE SOUL, AND INDEED EVERYTHING THAT COMES FROM GOD IS GOOD. THE SEED OF ADAM IS BORN WITH A SINFUL NATURE, BECAUSE OF ADAMS SIN , BUT ADAM HIMSELF WAS PERFECT AND SINLESS WHEN HE WAS CREATED.
SO NO MAN WAS NOT CREATED WITH A SINFUL NATURE, ONLY HIS SEED WAS BORN WITH ONE.
      ADAM = MAN= PERFECTION.
      ADAM’S SEED = US = SINFUL NATURE.
WHEN GOD SPOKE WITH CAIN, HE SAID TO HIM, IF YOU DO WELL , WILL YOU NOT BE ACCEPTED.
THERE WAS NO TOTAL DEPRAVITY THERE.
      CALVINISM IS BLASPHEMY.
THEY DO NOT TRUST IN THE FINNISHED WORK OF CHRIST AND THE FULL ASSURANCE THAT COMES WITH IT.

The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.

I never knew what Calvinism was, but I understood from the Bible that predestination has to be true, otherwise God is not omniscient.
But even the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Fear not therefore: ye are of more value than many sparrows. Luke 12:7
If God doesn't already know who will be saved, if it is a complete surprise to him, well, that's just ridiculous. God is the only one who already knows whosoever will. He also already knows whosoever won't.
John 6:44 No man can come to me, except the Father which hath sent me draw him: and I will raise him up at the last day.
John 6:65 And he said, Therefore said I unto you, that no man can come unto me, except it were given unto him of my Father.
Matthew 16:17 And Jesus answered and said unto him, Blessed art thou, Simon Barjona: for flesh and blood hath not revealed it unto thee, but my Father which is in heaven.
It really is all about God!
Ephesians 2:8-9 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.
Predestination has to be true, otherwise, God is not omniscient. The thing about predestination is that God is the only one who knows how it turns out. We are not privy to it. Therefore, we have to live our lives one moment at a time constantly making choices that we have no idea we will be faced with, until we are faced with them. We also have no idea what choices we will make, until we make them. However, God already knows.
God knew exactly what would happen in the garden of Eden. That is why He put the tree of the knowledge of good and evil there. He did not have to let the serpent in Eden. It was in the plan of salvation from the beginning. Adam's sin was not a failure of God. It was His plan. That is why Revelation says that the Lamb was slain from the foundation of the world. It was already in the plan. It is all about us coming back to God in repentance and falling on His mercy; and who will and who will not. Some will be wheat and some will be tares. Which is why he didn't give us our eternal bodies in the first place. God will sort us out in the resurrection or the harvest.

I'm a Calvinist. I had nothing to do with my Salvation, but simply to witness it. I could not come to Christ, I could not believe in Christ, nor could I say a sinner's prayer to receive forgiveness of my sins for Salvation. Nothing happened, when attempting these unsuccessful measures for God's Grace. I know, because the thought of my attempts to do so either vanished later in the day, or I was still left with a sense of emptiness and brokenness. You're Saved by the Holy Spirit from Jesus Christ, my Lord and Savior. You bring nothing to the table, because you and me aren't holy enough to understand on any level, the actual EXPERIENCE of Salvation/Regeneration. John 3:16, or the Jesus Saves billboard tells us if we believe, that Jesus will save us. Not true. Many are in hell today, for taking this broad road to destruction. What it MEANS to be Saved, is the Power of the Holy Spirit raising your dead spirit to Life. You simply cannot pray for something, when you are unaware of it's results. This would imply that you had some kind of control towards your salvation. Simply not true! It takes something Holy on God's part. (hence, the Holy Spirit) You can't cause a spark plug to fire without spark plug wires. (Holy Spirit) And you certainly can't cause it to fire, without Someone Sending a Signal through those spark plug wires. Yes, you can see and even understand the importance of having a Signal. (Jesus) But if one hasn't experienced the power of Christ's Holy Spirit, you can have the newest and best set of spark plugs on earth, AND IT WILL DO NOTHING! I use to own the best set of spark plugs on earth. They were called "self righteousness." When I received the gift of the Holy Spirit, all bets were off, in my ability to do anything for my salvation. After all, I've never experienced the Goodness of God before. I had to experience His Holiness for myself first, before I realized how Good God really is. Jesus says, "Only God is Good." Not only do I understand it now, but it's because of my experience with Christ's Holy Spirit, that I am able to make this claim. God loves a humble heart! His Holy Spirit causes you to repent, and turn from your sins. I certainly didn't develop this genuine repentance on my own. The sinner's prayer did absolutely nothing for me, as stated before. I'm sooooo thankful for all, who spread the Good News of the Gospel to me. It lay dormant not dead, in my (however) dead soul. I know beyond a shadow of a doubt, that it was my brokenness, in which God redirected my dead spirit, towards my Savior Jesus Christ. And from there, Christ's Holy Spirit raised me from the dead. It was literally "effectual."

Charles Simeon’s (Calvinist) conversation with John Wesley (Arminian)
It is instructive in this connection to ponder Charles Simeon’s account of his conversation with John Wesley on December 10, 1784 (the date is given in Wesley’s journal):
Charles Simeon: “Sir, I understand that you are called an Arminian; and I have been sometimes called a Calvinist; and therefore I suppose we are to draw daggers. But before I consent to begin the combat, with your permission I will ask you a few questions.… Pray, Sir, do you feel yourself a depraved creature, so depraved that you would never have thought of turning to God, if God had not first put it into your heart?”
John Wesley: “Yes,” says the veteran, “I do indeed.”
Charles Simeon: “And do you utterly despair of recommending yourself to God by anything you can do; and look for salvation solely through the blood and righteousness of Christ?”
John Wesley: “Yes, solely through Christ.”
Charles Simeon: “But, Sir, supposing you were at first saved by Christ, are you not somehow or other to save yourself afterwards by your own works?”
John Wesley: “No, I must be saved by Christ from first to last.”
Charles Simeon: “Allowing, then, that you were first turned by the grace of God, are you not in some way or other to keep yourself by your own power?”
    John Wesley: “No.”
Charles Simeon: “What, then, are you to be upheld every hour and every moment by God, as much as an infant in its mother’s arms?”
    John Wesley: “Yes, altogether.”
Charles Simeon: “And is all your hope in the grace and mercy of God to preserve you unto his heavenly kingdom?”
John Wesley: “Yes, I have no hope but in him.”
Charles Simeon: “Then, Sir, with your leave I will put up my dagger again; for this is all my Calvinism; this is my election, my justification by faith, my final perseverance: it is in substance all that I hold, and as I hold it; and therefore, if you please, instead of searching out terms and phrases to be a ground of contention between us, we will cordially unite in those things wherein we agree.

Does Calvinism misrepresent the very nature and character of God? Yes or No?

    • @kgar5String
      @kgar5String Před 3 měsíci

No, the scripture provides the nature of God, he is perfect in all of his ways which includes Justice, vengeance, love, hate and all the inspired scripture gives us.
Proverbs 6:16-19 lists seven things the Lord hates: pride, lying, murder, evil plots, those who love evil, false witnesses, and troublemakers. Notice that this passage does not include just things that God hates; it includes people as well.
We cannot begin to understand God’s justice unless we first understand sin. sin is a crime against God, and justice demands a penalty of death and separation from Him for it (Romans 1:18-32; 2:5; 3:23). But God sent His Son, Jesus Christ, to earth to pay that penalty for us (Romans 5:8-11; 6:23) and made salvation available to all who believe in His name (John 1:12; 3:15-17; 20:31).
His mercy and grace are not in spite of His justice, but because of it. He loved us so much that, despite the fact that our sin demands our death, He sent His Son to be our substitute upon the cross, thus demonstrating that His justice was not violated, but instead satisfied (1 Thessalonians 1:10; 5:9).

Alright, that’s an easy one. Calvinists will tell r*pe/SA victims that their experience was personally orchestrated by God to take place from the beginning. This is the famous “you were r*ped for Gods glory, and since every thing in God’s will is good, you being r*ped was also good in God’s eyes as well”. This creates distrust in God since he would personally go out of his way to have that happen to you. Is that a fair example?

    • @elciscoplummer3255

No, because as terrible as it sounds, all things- good or bad- have occurred under the Providence of God. And it is all for His glory. That’s pretty clear from passages like Isaiah 45:7.
The way someone explains that can be unsympathetic and callous but it doesn’t change the facts.
Sometimes we throw around that phrase- that God causes all things to occur- and it comes across as if we’re saying that God designs evil or that He plans evil. That isn’t what we mean: what we mean is that God uses evil (both naturally and supernaturally) to work out His good plans. It’s rooted in the fact that God is good, and He is in total control of everything, therefore if evil happens to me, He somehow allowed it and since He is good, He will work it out so that it will be good in the end even if I don’t agree with Him or understand His ways.

The real problem with Calvinism isn't that it's a bad doctrine. Both Free will and Determinism are in the Bible. That's the problem. Calvinism does breed a certain arrogance, but that's no more a problem than the false humility on the Armenian side. The idea of free will vs. Determinism is not something you can solve in the Bible because both ideas are all over the typical 66 book bible. I tended to lean more toward Calvinism as a Christian because it was so much more drastic and it definitely scared the hell out of me. The contradiction in the bible between free will and determinism was the final nail in my religious coffin. I realized this is not one of the "disputable" ideas Paul was talking about in the New Testament. The bible is a book written by men not God. That's why it's such an obviously contradictory book. God isn't dead, he was just never alive to begin with.

Man would chose God and believe for a little while and go back to pleasing himself. God understood the problem to an heart Issue. God said man's heart is desperate wicked.
Hebrews (God) if the old covenant was good we would not need a new covenant. God's remedy for man would be accomplished in the new covenant.
Jesus talking to Nicodemus said "No one would see the kingdom unless they are born again and then he said it again a different way, " he said you must be born of water and the spirit, Jesus said you must be born from above. Jesus was referring to Ezekiel 36:25-27 and was astonished the Nicodemus did not know this because it is written the scripture.
“I will sprinkle clean water on you, and you will be clean; I will cleanse you from all your impurities and from all your idols. I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit in you; I will remove from you your heart of stone and give you a heart of flesh. And I will put my Spirit in you and move you to follow my decrees and be careful to keep my laws.”

I have the desire to sin all the time but I choose not to sin because I choose with my mind to follow God and once I choose to follow Jesus the Holy Spirit comes in me and my heart changes and I hate sin.
