This is one of the best scenes. You get to see him grow into the man he is known for today.
I said it once and imma say it again: I am so glad James McAvoy was cast as Professor X! He’s just as good as Sir Patrick Stewart’s Professor X.
This scene so beautifully done.. Day of Future Past was the best X-Men movie period

You feeling sad for a character that doesn't exist on Real Life is a sign that you are either REAL YOUNG.

It’s sad dude, yes but I do like how they made him a junkie to express his pain. Very good writing.
@@rzn2258If you are an adult, I feel bad that you haven't yet or can't fully experience (to its greatest extent) one of humanity's art form that is film making, with your inability to emphatize with characters through storytelling.
I hope you are real young, at least there'd still be time, because it's sad how an old person can be so deprived of such experiences.
Poor Professor X
One of the greatest films ever made.. This is the 3rd greatest x men film for me after the 1st two.. X1 and X2 are the top 10 sci-fi of all time.. This sequel comes close to them..
And what are the number one and number two for you ??
@@wonderofnature7510 I don't have specific number 1 and 2 you know. I have my top 10.. But not in particular specific order.. I can't currently remember all of my top 10 movies.. X1 and X2, terminator 1 and 2, matrix 1, alien 1 starring sigourney weaver, tron legacy, the thing starring Kurt Russell.. I would say these films would be in my top 10.. I can't think of any other films at this moment to make it into my top 10.. X-men days of future past would be in my top 20..

I love how they used the 70's era and its well known drug problem as a way to humanize Charles and portray him as a drug addict who has to make the mature decision and stop, because that is the only way he can fight his demons. Even at the cost of his body and mind suffering.

Possibly. All I know about telepaths vs Kryptonians is Psi vs Supergirl in CW's Supergirl. She initially overpowered Supergirl and Martian Manhunter (who is also a telepath and can protect himself against psychic attacks), and when captured she had a thing on her head blocking her powers as they probably couldn't guarantee beating her again if she got free.
So it's highly probable he could, and if he was weakened by Kryptonite or Solar Flared so he had no powers etc he most certainly could be killed.

Probably not. He's most likely capable of killing Superman but he would just get blitzed way too fast.

1: I can't be the only one who hates this new Wolverine short, spiky hairdo right? Especially since it's the same hairdo the filmmakers gave him in the past as opposed to what he had in the original live action X-Men trilogy or in X-Men Origins.
And 2: The only way you can make sense of the future side of this film is to think of it as an alternate timeline to the previous live action X-Men films trilogy.
And why does it need to be an alternate timeline to be made sense of?
