Maybe Hank isn't fully aware of what Wolverine is capable of. They did just meet.
This is the 'Rogue's Cut'. I love it.
Is there even a major difference in these versions?
@@hYBRYDcOBRA Well this is one. In the theatrical cut, Beast and Wolverine have this conversation in a completely different location with completely different context.
@@hYBRYDcOBRAjust a few extra scenes and a Rogue subplot one of my favorite bits is when they go to the mansion to free Rogue and the mansion has been turned into a mutant experimenting facility
@loganwithlightsabers3051 When Bobby suggested that they wake up Logan due to Kitty being injured, he tells Charles and Erik about how they can get Rogue to take her place, but Charles assumes that she's dead because he couldn't contact her for years. It turned out he couldn't because the humans were keeping her in Cerebro and experimenting on her. Cerebro was pretty much shielding Rogues mind from Charles telepathic abilities, and that was why he couldn't reach her.
Erik and Bobby found their way in (while coinciding with the younger Erik going back to the Pentagon to retrieve his helmet, and looking at the coin he used to kill Sebastian Shaw). They retrieve Rogue, but the Sentinels get activated and kill Bobby earlier than what happened in the theatrical version. One of the Sentinels tries to stop Rogue, Charles, and Erik from escaping, but they make it away with the Sentinels severed hand stuck on the jet, which then activated a homing signal.
So that's why it's unfamiliar.
The novelization for the movie reveals that Beast was dragged from his home and killed by an angry mob of protesters in Washington in the year 2015 a couple of years before the Sentinels started taking over the world
Wolverine isn't exactly the best person to motivate people. I mean, I don't blame him since this guy has been through so much, that it's hard for him to be happy in any way.
His answer's FAR nicer in the Theatrical Cut. Still the blunt "no", but immediately reassuring Hank that it's precisely what they're trying to avoid.
@@marianoyuba3736 That simple no from Logan is what makes me laugh. At least he's honest. XD
@@Asaylum117 What's very interesting about Hugh's performance here is that, to me, he's not particularly trying to be mean, or at least it's not JUST that. He may be past niceties after the hell his life's been for years, and he may even be a bit annoyed at young Hank, but there seems to be a lot of pain behind that "no", like he doesn't even want to think about that. Logan says it himself; he and old Hank are great friends. Maybe seeing young Hank is already a painful reminder of his death, let alone his asking about it.
Also, I like that, in this scene, we see something we don't see in the Theatrical cut, which is this mission starting to weigh down on Logan. At this point, the future could be in a FAR worse place. Logan here isn't just being grumpy, but he's probably GENUINELY wondering if he hasn't failed or even made things WORSE. On top of that, he's been face-to-face with Stryker, whom he hadn't seen in YEARS. He wasn't just shocked for a few minutes, but you see he's clearly still very upset at what happened, and what his freakout might have cost everyone in the future.
True
Imagine if Hank said that to Wade, I wonder what his reaction would be.
He will say . Buddy...Mystique Left Your Ass for That Lakmé Demon for a Long time Ago ...and Also You Did not Make it . I Meant Alive .
I feel like he’d ever say something super witty or just pull up the video of that old white guy saying “You’re not that guy pal.... you’re not that guy.” 😂😂😂
He would be like, "if you stopped shitting on my lawn, maybe you would have lived"
Probably put an entire pack into his mouth and suck them all down to the filter.
@@dancingmonkey08 Then he'd light two more cigars and smoke three at once.
I can’t believe he’s Lex Luthor now, homeboy’s gonna kill it!
There's no bigger hatred than auditioning for both Superman & Batman, only to lose, then to be cast as the rival of Superman shortly after.
Is there a trailer for this ?!

They always emphasize the mood of the situation.

Logan: No
😂 Savage, bub.
"You know those things can give you cancer. I mean, I've done some toxicology tests in the lab and..."
Logan looks him square in the eye as he puts the cigar back in his mouth, not a care at all. 😂😂
comics: a big part of Hank's character is his insecurity with his appearance
movies: lets make him look human
Really ? You explain his character and yet can’t understand why he’s in his human form in the past? He’s insecure about his appearance before he fully becomes Beast and it takes him years to become comfortable in his beast form. So why the fuck would he always be in beast form if he’s insecure about it? Like you fucking retarded? Or just that ignorant?
Even movies this massive have limits to their budget 😉
Even this goes to his insecurity. He takes something to make him normal, only reverting back when he has to.
This is clearly before he learns to accept who and what he is.
he was suppressing his mutation to look human 🤔
@@mehm8fatih Well, at least here it's a plot thread that was developed since First Class, and actually was incorporated into the plot, with the same serum removing Charles' powers, and even saving Hank's life when the Sentinel leaves him alone after using it. Another thing you have to consider, though, is that Nicholas Hoult appears for most of the film, and the Beast makeup is probably tortuous to apply, so, much like Mystique's, they tried to use it sparingly to accommodate him as much as they could.
I really loved this film. I think the Rogue cut is probably the definitive version for me,

Wolverine is the stuff of dreams 😍
Love Hugh Jackman's portrayal here, very in line with the gruff, angsty, world weary wolverine
0:15 Wolverine's healing factor can protect him from cancers and deseases.
Especially since his healing factor isn't focused on the adamantium poisoning
FILMEY FOX BUENOS DIAS GRACIAS X LOS CORTOS
I like how Logan says “it’s the world I can from”. Giving hope to Hank that he and others will live a better life than his. Of course this isn’t the case given the context of Logan and the new DP and W trailers.
Well, even if mutants were extinct in that future (and Charles accidentally killed the X-Men), it was HARDLY as bad as it was in DOFP. For one, their extinction didn't come through extermination by Sentinels but, from everyone else's perspective, through the apparent phasing out of the X-gene. Even if there was some mutant prosecution from the Reavers (which existed in EVERY timeline at one point or another), mutants at large were well-liked there, it's just that potential mutants were born without any mutation whatsoever, so, even if the mutant bloodline was gone, those people still got to live a happy life. The film shows Logan's crappy life in the border, with problems that are present even in today's world (like racism, xenophobia, unemployment, etc), but the glimpses we have of everyday life in more urbanized places like the Vegas Hotel seem to be perfectly fine and even show some nifty technological advancements. So, maybe for Logan and the X-Men, not much has changed, but for everyone else, the new future is comparatively utopic.
I love alternative moment.
Mmm love the thumbnail choice 💪🤤🤤🤤🤤
Went from a cigar to a cigarette in last scene.
Hey bro video request, love your work btw, can you upload that scene in which Charles Hank and Logan come home after the meeting where Charles hears all those voices but refuses to take the medicine? If possible please do. Thanks again 👍🏽
This scene reminds me of my dad. A couple times I saw him get so mad while working on an engine or something, he would rip the filter out of the cigarette with his teeth, spit it on the ground, put the cigarette back in his mouth, and smoke it even harder.... Died of a stroke though.

Is this a deleted scene or a director's cut or something because I don't know which
Just a world I came from… this was the moment dead vs Wolverine and the Marvel universe linked up..
Yeah, a guy whose mutant power of accelerated healing has little to worry about cancer. Deadpool can attest to that.
“It’s the just world I came from.”
This subtlety forshadows how the timeline changed when Logan finished his mission and went back home. Beast was alive and well 😊
Subtly foreshadows??? It's the whole plot of the movie to go back and change the future.....

"Err... Yes. The fruit based name computer company we were major share holders in did really well. Can you lend me the $5,000 now?"
Would've been funny if logan called him just to say he dies painlessly😂😂

Yes, the Rogue Cut. It includes Anna Pauquin in the action and alternative versions of some of the scenes
