Nobody can replace Hugh Jackman as Wolverine. His roar is singular and unmatchable.
And he's coming back in 2025 in Deadpool 3

FINALLY SOMEONE WHO UNDERSTANDS ME
Facts!
Nobody will replace him...until they do. Hopefully someone can do an even greater job in the future, and they can actually make a better movie.
Fun fact: depending on which comic version you use. The people who are experimenting on Logan in this scene are the same group who gave Captain America his super soldier serum
More like they were a Canadian think tank trying to duplicate Erskine’s work.

Hugh Jackman was so perfect for this role.
So true 👍
he really was
he is the wolverine
He was meant for it, like J.K. Simmons as J Jonah Jameson.
bit tall to be a "runt" don't cha think?
Compared to the rest of the movies this is his most impressive showing of his senses. Hearing a whisper in a large room underwater, but it makes sense he just got the most painful thing he’s ever experienced and the more angry he is the faster he heals, he took two bullets to the face from zero and they dropped out of his skull much faster than when one police officer shot him in X2.
So true
Actually the bullets looked like they bounced OFF his skull, only damaging skin and muscle and unable to pierce his adamantium skull. Just my observation.
Mistake by director in x2
In X2 the bullet should of bounced off like they did here. Unless the police officer was using Adamantium bullets lol.
That was after he got shot in the same spot by adamantium bullet tho
Hugh Jackman does the snarl, growl and roar of the wolverine animal but in a human way perfectly. Best actor in superhero movie history.
Christian Bale's Batman/Bruce Wayne are at the same level.

I can't imagine the physical pain he felt during the procedure. His whole body is drilled by thick syringes, and then liquid adamantium is injected, burning every single cell in his body........ugh. I still get chills every single time I think of this scene.
And yet he still pulled through
He didn't feel any pain. It's a movie.
@@chrismundanchery4357 My, God, it's Jason Borne!
Every single cell? Well, now it's way too much even for an exaggeration. An average human body consists of 3*10^13 cells, now let's assume there were a thousand needles and every one of them affects a milliard cells, then we'll have 10^12 cells, which is only 3.(3)% of the total. And while a sudden death of 3.(3)% of cells would most likely kill an average human, to the wolverine it's still quite a loss, and even if we consider that not every cell (to say the least) has neural signal, even 0.000003% of a total I've counted is more than enough for my dumb self to just die right now. So yeah, he definitely felt insurmountable pain, but it still wasn't any close to "burning every cell in his body".
@Jeroen it’s an emotion called empathy

I love the way his head jerks back when he's shot and then he immediately moves it back into position with the same angry snarl on his face. Its like some sort of monster from a horror movie, moving its head back after a gunshot to demonstrate its apparent immortality.
You gotta give it to Zero tho he aimed and nailed him directly in the forehead in an instant.

This video gives me chills every single time I watch it, as you watch the absolute agony that Logan is going through, as the adamantium covers his entire skeleton, effectively burning him alive, if not for his healing ability, and at the same time his psychological and emotional pain are off the charts too, as he remembers his dark past, his heart-breaking loss of the love of his life at the hands of his brother, it's no wonder that the whole process temporarily overwhelms him and he "dies". But the look of utter shock on Stryker and Zero's faces when they hear the heart monitor begin to register Logan's pulse once again, you could cut the tension in the air with a knife as everyone watches as "Weapon X" slowly regains his strength and faculties, while Stryker celebrates he doesn't realise his conversation with Zero is being overheard by Logan, and when Stryker utters three words, they make Weapon X snap awake ready to explode into a fit of animalistic rage, and those words were "Erase His Memory" because he only did this to gain vengeance for Kayla, and also to give himself the abilities to find and kill his brother but more than anything else, he refuses to lose his treasured memories of her, the bestial roar that erupts from his lips as, like a wild animal he bursts up and out of the water is absolutely spine-chilling , then we get a small comedy relief moment, when Zero tries to shoot him in the head the way Logan looks at him with a "Seriously Bro" expression almost made me lol, brilliant scene from a movie that should have done so much more than it did, script wise and money wise, hopefully if they ever do replace Hugh Jackman they had better make damn sure that they get it just right, because the character of Wolverine is so important to a hell of a lot of people, (Myself Included). @@aadeezology9743 Yap. Making him unstoppable was a problem, but I don't think they did it knowingly. I don't think they expected it to work, and were also a bit dumb. It's a bit complicated if you think about it.
The metal was very heavy. It's like having some lighter gold in your bones. The guy adapted in a second. Like 0 muscle issues.
Also, I think they expected his body to refuse the metal, and just throw it out. They wanted his DNA and to know if they can use it. I don't think they expected him to be like this.
Previously, a bunch of bullet wasn't going to stop him. But at least a grenade would've done it's job. Now, he doesn't need to regenerate his bones, the slowest regeneration he had. They pretty much just made the job of his regeneration even easier.
Not to mean the claws. They designed him claws, but not because of him, but because of future projects.
Also boiling his brain, and why adamantium bullets are dumb. I think they expected him to be dead, after boiling his brain. Like what would even remain after such a thing? And yet, it got regenerated and his life-signs reappeared.
Not to mention, it seems they had ways to stop his heart, aka making him clinically dead. Which also doesn't seem to work.
So yeah, I would say a list of very fucking dumb mistakes, and a bunch of dumb confidence, lead to a man, that they had no counter against and the guy was really pissed with giant metal claws. Also immortal in many sense.

This movie gets a bad rep because of what they did with Ryan Reynold's character at the end, but otherwise it still holds up pretty well.
See you in 5 years when people start commenting "I don't care what others think, this movie was great".
Hello how are you doing
Probably would've helped his healing factor a lot more if just his claws had adamantium.
Wolverine mutates constantly, and the adamantium halted the process, so when Magneto ripped the metal out of his skeleton, Wolverine mutated into an uncontrollable feral beast. Now I doubt they’d have ever adapted that storyline into the movies, but seeing as how Sabretooth mutated further between “Origins” and the first movie, the same thing would’ve probably happened to Wolverine without the adamantium.
Besides, Wolverine’s healing powers only started failing because of Transigen’s mutant growth hormone, so without the outside interference, he would’ve probably been fine for a few more decades
2:08 me getting flashbacks of her
Wouldn't it make more sense to do like one needle at a time so his healing factor isn't potentially overwhelmed?
That's somewhat what they end up doing with X-23 because she was too young and her healing power not at max potential because of age. They actually removed her bone claws, stopped her healing factor, coated the removed claws in Adamantium, reinserted them, then restarted her healing factors. This is why she doesn't have an entire skeleton coated in metal, and why her healing factor is stronger than Logan's because it isn't expending so much energy fighting high levels of metal poisoning.
Never knew that. Very interesting
@@RazielTheUnborn And that's also the reason her neck is breaking more often).
