1:09 Brilliant pieces of acting/direction/editing here. Batman looks down on Falcone and gives the most Un-Batman looking look you can think of (slightly wide eyed, likely doesn't quite know what to do in the moment with Falcone going to die any second. One can almost imagine him as the young boy looking down on Falcone when Thomas Wayne operated on him in the manor, but then he sort of leans forward and his expression almost hardens). It's also a kind of comeuppance for Falcone. The impression I got of him was that he saw Bruce as 'one of his own,' or at least in his pocket. Sure, he knew Bruce disliked him, but he saw him as a young rich boy, certainly not someone capable of taking him on. The impression I got here was that he figured out in his dying moments that Bruce was in fact Batman, and he realised for the first time what that scared young boy he saw all those years ago was truly capable of. Anyway, it's a great moment. Matt Reeves is a fantastic director. Looking forward to Part 2.
