People forgot in the comics wolverines body count is higher than the any single member of the brotherhood of mutants aside from sabertooth.
First Wolverine comic I read was logan killing an entire island of pirates that hijacked a plane and killed the passengers. There was no remorse whatsoever

@@UghHimAgain if you read the wolverine comics, they make black and white compendiums of 30 or so comics in one book, that are quite cheap compared to buying the comics individually. You see that wolverine has been a bad guy, a vixtim of mind control, a bad guy who thought he was a on the side of good, and a good guy. But his base state is someone whose survival instincts are dialed up to 11 then multipled, who has a protective streak of a papa wolf to the power of a mama bear.
It doesn't help that his claws don't have a stun setting.
He kills easily because in the modern day, those with power know who he is. There are many modern day scenes where logan beats humans to an absolute pulp just for trying something with him but even when those humans pull out weapons he doesn't kill them because he knows that even tho his attackers started it, his attackers have just realised they poked the bear and are just listening to their flight or fight response.
At the same time, sometimes in the same comic logan has slaughtered every armed guard who had no clue what they were facing or even who they were really working for or what was really happening where there were guarding. Because he A) had had enough B) saw a victim of the facility and thought bugger it no one is getting the benefit of assuming ignorance before malice.
As a short man who was abused as a kid, thinking this time, no benefit of the doubt for anyone, is something I know I would do, I don't think it's right, but I don't claim to be a good man, just a survivor. Hence I oce logan.
A good story line is FROM WW2, logan, capitan America and bucky are clearing out a hyrda base, logan is supposed to be from the Canadian special forces on loan to the US special forces, but logan knows he works for dept H and can tell bucky is CIA, by his combat training showing. And see bucky commit war crimes go off mission and doesn't say a thing to Steve a d doesn't think twice about it. The truth is both bucky and logan ware working for Romulous (via weapon X program for logan and a US group the Cia don't know exist within the govt) , a mutant nutjob who founded Rome and has been behind stuff so dark that hyrda, the hand, etc are scared of him. Romulous was basically the dude that demons tell stories about around the campfire to scare themselves but don't think is real.
@@UghHimAgain one pub brawl, logan is having a bad day, so he goes into a pub knowing he is going to get insulted and someone is going to try to intimidate him. Logan antagonises a dude and says, not only can you have the fiedt punch, I'll let you use knuckle dusters if you've got em, then logan breaks something, Jaws arms legs etc on everyone who doesn't run away.
He did that just because he was in a mood, he was an x man at that time but went off for some personal time. Ie kill a lot of people from his past who he missed the first time around.
@@UghHimAgain another story a mutant teen gets his powers, and drains the life out of everyone in town. Professor x sends logan because the kid can't kill logan just make him hurt real bad, not fighting the hulk bad but close, anyway logan finds the kid, tells him it's not his fault, listens to the kid, and then says I'm sorry, but if people find out that you did this all. Mutants are going to have a hard time, but I promise you one thing, there won't be any pain. Then he just kills the kid.

In the originals after credits scene hes drinking in a bar and understands what a asian lady (Japanese i presume) so i felt like this was just so the audience could hear what hes saying instead of reading subs here
