I don't know much, but that SOUNDS like a belief. lol. I believe that we don't know the full story; I believe that we don't know. We don't know the full details of what caused us to be here or if/what we are ultimately "destined" to "do." We don't know many things that because of them we are here and we don't know what we are here "for." Maybe it's arrogant to assume we CAN know these things even? Pornography is nothing but compulsive behavior and as you have explained time and again that compulsiveness is slavery, it creates more karma, more repetitive cycles. The only way to get out of this and any other addiction or compulsive coping mechanism is to be conscious about everything. If we do things with full awareness knowing the inevitability of the moment, we will never do things that we dont want to do from our inner most core.

One of my friends was addicted to masturbation and it became so severe that he lost control over his mind. Eventually, I noticed about his addiction and observed that he was losing his memory due to the continuous release of dopamine. Last year, I suggested same linked sadhuru to visualize his mother's face whenever he felt the urge and to place a photo of his mother on the wall. The very next day, he stopped completely. Over time, he recovered from the addiction, regained control over his mind, and restored his memory.

From what I have learned so far from Sadhguru is - if you are conscious there is no such thing as compulsiveness for you, you will act according to your intelligence - that is by choice and not compulsion.
The question then is - how to become conscious? or more conscious such that you are no longer compulsive in nature?
Just listen everyday 15 minutes before sleeping
start doing sadhana...the meditation and yoga programs offered by sadhguru...start doing that compulsiveness will go away..... do inner engineering, yogasana etc...sadhana is the only way
Dedicate yourself to a spiritual practice, and it will fall off. This requires you to wake up however, and stop pretending to be asleep. You said "I am stuck", but you do not say I don't want to be stuck. Yes you want to quit, but you must also admit, to yourself, that you do not have to be stuck.
