Congrats on the numbers and the build y'all!!
Loving the content guys, one of the best N54 channels on CZcams. Genuine and down to earth blokes 👍
Well done lads! That’s awesome power n the car handles it well! Quality content 👍🏻
One of my favorite "0 to 60" videos for sure. The look on his face when he sees the dyno numbers is hilarious! Plus it give those of us that are building budget cars a lot of hope for big power.
Wow... this got me excited for my tune to be done 😂 that's an insane number. Congrats on that.
Good job guys! 12.2 horsepower is a real achievement!
as always great content ,youve got me sold on them 17Ts too
YES, you went to the right place!!
Can't thank scott enough for opening up on a Sunday. Bloody legend. Dane even popped in for a celebrity visit.
Awesome guys well done 👊🏼👊🏼
Yesss.... first one, thanks gents for the dyno testing much appreciated. Glad to see you two listen and deliver to your viewers 🍻
We need to thank Scott from Nugget Garage for opening up on a Sunday to help us out.
Thank you Scott from Nugget Garage 🙌🏻
Congrats boys great numbers
Brilliant content guys😎🍺
That's about right for ur boost level on ur twins, you don't need a lot of timing at all. I think the 17Ts are the sweet spot honestly, bigger isn't really usable anymore, and smaller Turbos suffer top end. Awesome build.
Thanks man, wasn't expecting to break 600whp on a aussie dyno. Goal was always dyno jet 600whp, so pretty damn happy. Have you dragy'd your single setup yet?
@@ZeroTo60Tube I did, I need some better rubber in the back though it made 6.22 spinning half way thru third.. my street tires ain't cutting it especially with an open diff.an identical car with an m3 rear end and 305s in the back ,local to me , when we tuned it , it made 5.6 secs 100 to 200 , still spinning but not as bad
When I say identical I mean same kit, basically the same tune, but he's a manual with 7700 rpm limiter(upon his request),and 305s out back so yeah not really identical lol, but similar power on the dyno.
Insane power out of those 17ts and auto transmission. Thanks for doing this. Doesnt seem like I’d need to upgrade my transmission after all.
It will start to slip after a good while running that power just as a heads up (:
Awesomeness fully loaded. Crazy numbers Loving it n54 twins Hybrids all day everyday🔥🔥🔥tuned in late but lockd in🇯🇲🇯🇲🇯🇲🇯🇲
Siiiiiiick power man. Great to see a bit of good luck for you 😀 if I come down your way we should line up my m4 and that 335 😈
That's crazy power 🤯
Very impressive 💪
Thanks! For a proper load based dyno, i am very happy with the numbers.
Dayummmm! that’s some serious horsies. Nice one lads
💥GREAT JOB MY FRIENDS💥you guys are amazing and im so happy for you guys.😁 You guys wasted no time getting the content we all wanted. Thany You for that. Over 620 HP on a true budget build. he'll ya ❤👍❤
As soon as you snapped that axle I just KNEW that car was flirting with 750 hp at the crank!!!
...and NOW WE KNOW!! Thank you gentlemen.
Yes, this makes the axles issues all seem more reasonable. I knew the car felt fast, but it does it so effortlessly and without drama or much noise. Super happy with these numbers on this type of dyno.
Seriously 👍
Holly crap man👌😮
Well done guys!
Thanks! For a proper load based dyno, i am very happy with the numbers.
Congrats she’s a Beast
Very impressive result guys I definitely wasn't expecting to see those kinds of numbers.. makes sence now why ethel had a hard time beating this thing back when it was in kill mode, looking forward to seeing it progress 😁🤘
Thanks man!!! Was nice to see you there today too. Can't wait to see Ethels new setup!!! Gonna be so sick!
@@ZeroTo60Tube thanks man was good to see you guys and hang out and have a chat, im sure you guys will see it once it's ready to go 😁🤘
Some very impressive numbers guys! Truly a budget build too.
Also Dave been working out? #jacked
Bad ass man! She's a ripper! I bet you're glad we talked you into getting on the dyno. Lol love from Ohio keep it up!
Genuinely didnt expect these numbers on a load type dyno. Kind of explains why she snaps axles with the auto i guess.
@@ZeroTo60Tube my buddy has a 318 with a twin turbo LS swap with 1300 hp. He's running billet m3 axles and they are holding up. I think you'll be solid once you get your m3 axles in. But hell....snap 'em all! No half sends baby! Looking forward to the next video! See y'all soon
@@jacobbub506 Draysens e90 is effing sick!!! Love what he has done with that. The cracks on the shifts are wild.
Yes! Awesome man! Love this build. Making me think I need to upgrade to 17t's 👀
I should refer to my first drive with them. “Buy upgraded turbos”
However as my experience with high power N54s has evolved there is more out there.
@@ZeroTo60Tube I always thought I wanted a big single but I love the power delivery of the stock twin. I can imagine it is very similar with upgraded ones, just more of it 😅
Keep up the awesome work on the channel 👌
@@craigy131 This is something i want to touch on in a video in the next month or two. The upgraded twins make a huge difference.
Damn that’s sick!
Wow 460 odd kw@ the wheels, bloody impressive for a relatively cheap build. Well done guys. Been waiting to see the numbers on this.
That was quick!
Single turbo is finally happening!!!!! I can't wait!
I knew it would make big numbers followed this from the start
Whaaaaaaaaaaaaaat!!!!! Great numbers mate that's friggin awesome!
Thanks dude, imagine what your car would be???? Mine does't have the pull yours does..... hmmmmmm
@@ZeroTo60Tube all those cut up hands and bloody knuckles paying off for you my Man!! I am going to go back to Cleveland Exhaust when the time comes he did my first Dyno back when I was pretty much FBO on 98, JB4 and MHD back end flashed put up a huuuuuuuuuuuuuge 327hp at the wheels hopefully that number has increased..... wink wink
I think its safe to say, you'll be double that. Im keen to organise a day and get a few N54s together for an entire dyno day.
@@ZeroTo60Tube we'll wait and see but I'm super keen for dyno day!
Hot damn! Nearly reaching 2.5X the power over stock. 😮 no wonder she flies and snaps axels. A little surprised Scott didn’t get you to crank it and send it till a piston comes through the bonnet, or a hoist loop thrown in somewhere. 😜
Nugget garage deserves a lot more love.
Haha he was surprised with the number. I think even saw an eyebrow raise in a impressed way till he remember it was a euro….. haha
Those big numbers don’t surprise me after watching you snap several axels…sweet ride man.
Thanks dude. Kind of makes sense doesn't it. I was getting a bit perplexed as i havent really seen anyone with a 6at snap axles. Anyway managed to break my dragy 100-200 record just now. Edit will be live tonight. This is a properly quick car.
Certainly worked out what was breaking the axle ! Stout numbers . Well done
Yeah makes sense why I haven’t seen any other 6ats snap axles. I’ve never seen a 6at twin car make this power on a load based dyno. Very surprised
Damn guys. This is impressive, makes me keen to mess with my tune more on the Z4 35i My last dyno gave me 479whp 823nm but that's on 91oct with methanol and only 6 degrees of timing, I think I need to up my game and target some more timing and boost.
Well done guys! seriously impressive!
Hello i have Z435i what Is tout mod please. HPLF valbro ?E85
what a beast!
Well proud of you lads go team n54 over 600bhp at the wheels Wow..i may look at the t17 turbos for my 2006 e90 n54 with 60k miles..il be happy at 550bhp at the wheels.outstanding lads well done
Serious hp 💪🏻
The Hoff, what a legend. And what a powerful car!
He is a bloody legend! And genuinely nice dude
Really unreal with those cheap turbos! But I would like to have the whole graph of the torque curve minimum and Max at what RPM because that's what's really getting the car out of the hole.
That was the most casual 625hp dyno run I've seen on CZcams... ever!! 😁🤘 I'm glad it did make that number, it kind of validates what a lot of us have been thinking a decently tuned hybrid turbo n54 makes at the wheels! Thanks to the Hoff and Nugget Garage for making it happen 👍
Welcome to seeing what a load based dyno does. The dyno fully controls how fast the car revs. Which means tuners can more accurately tune each RPM range. However, it doesn't make the cool noise of a fast ramp. That said you can set these to sound cool, but it's more for wank than actual purpose.
Wow that’s absolutely insane for 17T’s! I have the similar setup but with 19.5T turbos at around 23-24 psi so this is a great judgement to see where my car stands
How Many whp you have with this turbos with 24psi?
Keen for the ST build 😏 let’s get it happening !
Wow congratulations on the buld like your Channel a lot always has great content I have a 2013 335is made 653whp on dyno pushing 28psi dynamics autowerks flowmax it was dyno tuned I feel the power isn't there I'm going to have it street tuned to see if there's a difference what is your wheel and tire set up looking new setup but the roads in NY are horrible
Grab a dragy and remove any doubt on its power. Dragy best way to know what it’s doing in the real world.
Current wheels are m437 genuine wheels and they pretty light, car feels faster with these. Also have a 18 set of Koya wheels which I run the ar1 tyres on for trying to really go quick.
Looking forward to a new Dyno for the DCT
Haha, the look on your face made this vid bro.
Awesome result 🤙🏼
I was not expecting to break 600whp on this type of dyno. Bloody mega. Explains why she chews axles tho.
@@ZeroTo60Tube with results like that i don't think I want to line up with you in x5. Nobody like getting eaten lol
Congrats guys, most undramatic 600whp, more than doubling of stock output, ever. That’s a nice morning for ya!
The dyno actually loads the engine up and stop its from revving out. It sounds very weird but that’s why these dynos are more accurate apparently. Its was strange listening to it take so long to rev. Poor little motor haha
That first pull the dyno fully stopped the car from revving at 6600rpm. Talk about load on the drive train.
@@ZeroTo60Tube I’ve watched your trials and tribulations with that car, it was only right to see what it puts down before really letting loose on the drivetrain. Super cool the way the owner gave you free reign to shoot and share the experience. It definitely did sound strange in comparison to one of my standards for OG dynovids “Bryce Supra Dyno”, and torque numbers would have been nice(I saw your response to others who said that), but it serves as a perfect baseline for what’s to come. Thanks as always from Florida.
Very impressive, maybe some 7 series parts to upgrade the rear?
Hoss is awesome, nugget garage making moves too
I love how your car looks on 437m wheels. What dimensions are they? Can I found some photos of this car with those wheels fitted? Thanks
Omg guys, this is insane. Please do this again, right after the DCT swap. I need to know. Probably you need some bigger axles, hahaha. Dutch regards, Nico.
Liked before I even watched👍🏻
Those zf6hp19's seem to handle the power well. Guess lock up converter is (still) doing its job. Did u brake any auto trans?
Haven't broken the trans yet, i have only heard it slip once and that was trying to do the 0-100 runs with the semi slicks on. It just didnt bite in to 2nd gear like it used to.
Suprising numbers! Looks like a winning combo. How much ethanal were you running?
E68 was what the gauge was reading at the time.
@@ZeroTo60Tube have to keep that in mind for the after Dyno!
YES LADS!!!!
Beautiful. What wheels are those by the way would love a set on my e92 335i
They are style 437 from a f80
This seems like a dumb question. What is done for fueling I have hybrid setup in the mail on the way only have a stage 2 lpfp in the car now? This have PI?
When you go full single might be worth looking into a stand alone ecu I recently found out motec ecu can support direct injection- high pressure fuel pump- dct control and has a n54 base map, bit pricey but might be worth it to future proof things ???
I have been toying up stand alone. So much more control and safety. More hours is killer expensive tho. I have been thinking about ditching the di tbh.
@@ZeroTo60Tube agreed Ive been saying go Haltech on some of the videos but of recent found out Haltech doesn't offer some of the supported features like the motec does for the n54 should look a look at them
@@davidstevenson1211 I keep going back to maxxxecu. They intergrate with the e9x cars perfectly, so the car will work completely as stock as far as the driver is concerned but the DI will be gone. One good thing about maxxxecu is they will also control the DCT
@@ZeroTo60Tube yeah I've seen maxxxecu they look alright might have to pick one and try it, it would make a good video on weighing up options and what's needed
Insane numbers. What map are you running on the jb4? Are using mhd backend flash too?
This was ran in Map 6 with custom boost targets. Back end flash is all done by JSRTuning, its a custom flex fuel tune.
@@ZeroTo60Tube awesome, thanks for the response. I love the channel! Lots of great information!
HORY SHITO!......thats a fking great number dude!
I dont remember if you mentioned this during the install, but did the wastegates on your 17Ts need any adjustment before install? Looking for a cheap, "throw in" solution for more power and no more rattle for my OEM turbos.
I didn’t adjust the gates no.
What type of fuel is that and can you do a run on just pump gas
What was your WGDC at?
Single turbo n54’s have been done to death - albeit very nice - why not go compound twin? So in series rather than stock parallel
Mainly room. The Rhd have very little options for decent sized exhaust housings. The single to will be like no other. I promise 😛
Very tidy mate!!
Would already be in the 8s if you were in the states :)
I keep cracking ring lands Have you ever gapped the stock rings on N54 engine I am boosting 29 psi
Wtf this car is wild, still blown away by the 6.1s 100-200
Keen to see what the cold weather does. Never driven it for a 100-200 in sub 20 deg c temps. Tomorrow, lets see whats on the cards now.
@@ZeroTo60Tube harden up. Come to nz for some sub 5 deg c pulls 😉
@@Ewok_Nz i would kill for those temps when trying to make power.
What the f is correct.. Impressive numbers guys. Really makes me want to get my 17t car on a dyno on e40 without PI. (I blame you for my choices 😉)
Same set up as mine. Fun as fuck car!
@@cocko1135 I converted mine to manual with a twin plate clutch and a lsd. It’s a complete animal.
@@Ewok_Nz I deadset just drooled when I read that 🤣🤣. You would be a very busy man, so cool!
I got a fbo 17t turbo n54 but idk where to get a custom tune and im using mhd atm
Ken at Wedge is the man. Tuned so many more of these motors than anyone else, writed the MHD base maps and also has been at the forefront of development since day 1.
I love your Channel mate just wondering why you never just got a N54 AWD for you can actually reach the numbers you looking for in real time i have a 09 N54 AWD fully tune and mine does 0-60 in 3.5 seconds or less depending on the weather in New York but I can imagine having power like your car you can easily hit 100-200 in 5 or less seconds with AWD lol
You actually can't get a N54 with awd for right hand drive markets.
Wow
Hi ..what tuner are using ?
And stills in stok fuel system?
Congratulations
JSRTuning and JB4 Port Injection. 💪
Damn it. Missed it by 2HP lol but good job
Can you make a playlist with all the builds for this car
Does the heart mean a yes?

@@ZeroTo60Tube awesome!!!!!
One just wonders what it could do under METH and JSR at the ready to send you adjusted maps 🤔 700 🐎
You have done awesomely with this car bro.
I really don’t know. I’m sure there might be another 5-10% in it for a kill tune. But maybe that will be a “kill my motor” tune
So do they still work? I’m thinking about buying did you go with the Viv model?
MIne are sweet, however it seems a bit luck of the draw
Team N54🔥🔥🔥
Any info on what the Torque reading was?
The dyno wasn't connected to the RPM signal, which i think is why there is no torque reading. TBH i wasnt even thinking about it. Was just looking for HP and keen to check AFRs on the dyno were similar to what JB4 was logging.
@@ZeroTo60Tube man...a torque number would have been sweet though! Thank you for getting her on the dyno though. Time for me to start throwing cash at my 07 335. Lol
What correction are you running on the dyno , with my hub dyno i run no correction on turbo cars
Hey There, i honestly can't remember. Its what ever Scott runs this dyno in when he is tuning.
What type of fuel/octane did you use during this dyno?
I did mention it in the video. From memory it was e65-e70 fuel mix.
what was the car setup at this time?
apart from the 17ts
Its had 2.5" dual exhaust, modified RHD outlets, DCI, port injection, 7 inch china cooler, JB4, elder coils, tuned by JSR.
Guess i'm getting the 17t's instead.
Jsr for tuning? Why not wedge?
JSR for JB4 BEF, wedge for MHD only
So with those numbers my old one it had no port injection just 17ts and custom tune to do 11.6 @122mph i must be around 500whp then. Maybe
Yeah 100% your car would have to be around 550whp at least for the 122mph. Loving this cold weather tho.
@@ZeroTo60Tube your car is going to be a rocket with the DCT its going to be Awesome
What was was the spool like with these TD04 17T
Pretty much like stock.
@@ZeroTo60Tube sick . Im going with RB game changer 17T TD04s soon cant wait for the result
well done guys i can see some custom made axles coming real soon
Kinda makes sense why they keep breaking now.....
@@ZeroTo60Tube did you find out if you have a faulty waste gate have you had a good look at your 2 cacuum canisters to see if any have hair line crackes in then do they feed each waste gate? i hope its warm up where you are as broken hill in friggn cold cheers glenn
@@glennarnold3970 Havent found the issue. 3rd gear is still that 1psi under target on the street. I havent wound out 4th on the street. It was closer to target on the dyno, but the load that dyno puts on the car is insane so it will build boost better than on the street.
What kinda mods you have with this 17ts?
FBO, upgraded full exhaust, port injection, JB4, custom JSR tune through MHD.
On What gear was those runs
4th
Interesting, virtual Dyno showed 588whp from your 3rd gear log you posted the other week, however 3rd has less load than 4th gear and the log finished at 6200rpm which will be below your peak power..
Correct, also wont have accurate weights, air temps or tyre size with the info you had on the log. :P
Virtual dyno works
What cluth u running with?
This is auto. Switching to dct with stock clutches at first
Is that number wheel horse power or crank hp
Hubs, so likely a smidge over 700hp at the crank.
How much Tourque in ft/lb ?
The dyno wasn't connected to the RPM signal, which i think is why there is no torque reading. TBH i wasnt even thinking about it. Was just looking for HP and keen to check AFRs on the dyno were similar to what JB4 was logging.
Etanol mix?
E68 on the flex sensor for these runs
I'm calling it from now with a DCT it will make 647.3HP with the same tune and dyno
... 🤔 Do I believe that number plate after so much effort to hide it?
What number plate? Never heard of her.
I want to buy this tune 😭🔥
Well if you have all the same hardware hit up JSR tell him you have seen the vid
@@ZeroTo60Tube thank you! Is there a video with your mods list?
I’d say closer to 650 range maybe
Well done gents. Thats some strong numbers. But I can honestly say on a proper load dyno, u won't make more then 600whp. I had mine dynoed at 21psi and made 557whp and 740nm. That was on 93/95 octane unleaded pump gas with 1lt of NF Ultra race additive.
This is a proper load dyno….. in fact this is one of the most power proper load dynos you can buy. The retarders are rated to hold 3000hp. I didn’t realise while filming but it’s dyno dynamics latest and greatest dyno for high power cars.
I'd like to see u do a few dyno runs on rollers. Will be interesting to compare the results.
With 17t turbos you made that power?
@n54 We now managed to get it to 612whp with a little tweeking on my back end flash. An absolute beast now 💪
I shredded diff gear with 550whp 590tq
That’s something you don’t see very often. Where you on stock axles or upgraded?
@@ZeroTo60Tube stock axles, open stock diff. I don't even launch it just aggressive cornering, some power slides. I couldn't find many people with a broken diff either, maybe I got unlucky.
Curious, small or large diff housing?
