Just for clarification, the ECU is limited to 22 psi. 3.5 bar gets you a 1 psi increase of visibility without scaling. Nothing more, nothing less. So it doesn't really matter if you have stock or 3.5 bar with OTS maps. The reason we can see more with MHD custom tunes is the fact that we scale the sensor from 10 psi at a 50% rate to achieve 36 psi max and the conversion of the PSI displayed is done internally within MHD. Now, looking at the boost gauge, without seeing throttle angle, we cannot determine that actual boost as throttle closure will cause boost pressure in the charge pipe to spike. Unless the boost gauge is located in the intake manifold, we will not have an accurate boost reading as the tmap sensor in the manifold is only a 1.5 bar sensor and it cannot be changed due to the fact it's there for calibration. So knowing throttle angle at WOT with boost spiking to 27 psi brings up some questions also for guys that use AIC port injection as the amount of fuel sprayed would be more, even if throttle was closed and the actual boost in the manifold was only 21 psi. This would cause the car to run extremely rich and could protentional cause a misfire, and large fireballs shooting from the exhaust which is another side effect. A good reason to upgrade to the ReFlex as the CAN integration helps prevent injector overrun off throttle with charge pipe boost spikes. So, v5 e40 does a lot of things to pull out the stops and make the car as quick as possible. I agree it's one of the quicker maps we have done over the years, but if you have throttle closure, you are taking the risk of turbo surge which can damage the turbos. Sorry for the ramble, head is not so clear today as I'm still recovering from covid.

Swap Depot's E90 made 580WHP on that V5 E40 OTS map with 17ts and at the time did have the 2.5 bar sensor! We literally broke our heads the following 2 weeks trying to figure how he made so much power. Also I believe Ken desensitized the knock tables on that map which made the timing corrections not seem as bad.

Thanks Andrew l! Great video and thanks to you and Ken for helping out with the explanation and sorting out what was going on!!
      Couple more details:
      - 7.5” stepped “race” EBay intercooler (same as VRSF I suppose)
      - 34F New England (I mean Mexico) temps :)
      - Very high DA
      - 2nd gear launch (this car launches better in 2nd)
      - Closer to E45 mix
Car is still running great and we run the V10 Stage 2+ OTS with stock t-map day to day (I know we shouldn’t). I think this prevents the throttle closures as well and protects the turbos.
That being said I would recommend folks DO NOT try the same setup. We were 100% aware that we could blow something up but YOLO!!

2D33 - DME: Absolute-pressure sensor, intake manifold: signal.
2F0C - Intake air temperature sensor.
30FE - DME: Turbocharger, charge-air pressure too high.
    3100 - DME: Boost-pressure control, deactivation.
    2D2E - DME: Throttle-valve angle - intake-manifold vacuum, correlation.
One thing also is that I'm still running a 5' stepped intercooler as are a lot of those that get these codes. As well a lot of people having these codes often it's the Boost Solenoids that are giving troubles. But there are even some pros that have been fighting with them.
