  • If you're looking to add massive amount of power to your BMW 335i (Or any other high performance car) it's very important that you do it the right way without taking shortcuts. I chose to take minor shortcuts and it ended up catching up to me, causing my e93 335i to not drive efficiently. Don't cheap out and you'll end up with a reliable supercar killer.

Let me go ahead and clear up a few things since I keep seeing the same comments pop up over and over.
Aaly removing the injector cover and apparently waiting too long to install them. It appears in the video that it took a while because of how I edited the clips. Notice the minute he removes the cover off one injector I cut to the scene where we take a look at the old injectors. If you look closely you'll notice the cover is still on all 6 injectors. I just happened to place that clip after him removing the cover (which happened before) and honestly I'm not sure why. It literally took him a minute or less to remove the cover, snap a pic and install them. Car runs fine, zero issues.
Paying a shop and not doing it myself. I've answered this in the past but I'll address it here as well. Me and PSI are partners, I don't pay for labor. It greatly benefits me to have them do a lot of the work on my BMWs because quite frankly I don't have the time nor tools (lift, power tools etc) to do it myself. Sure I can work on my cars (I've done so in the past) but I rather do it this way and have more time for my family and more time to shoot more videos. If they are small jobs I don't mind doing them myself like the injectors. But this time around I realized I wasn't prepared and instead of wasting time I took it to the shop. This is not a DIY channel. Go watch Tavarish for that.
If you need a quote contact Precision Sport Industries directly, because I don't have that information.
All that said, I appreciate each of you watching and thank you for the support 👊🏼

Absolutely No reason to pull the end caps off the injectors that soon. I figured dude was going to install them right away and then he stars snapping pictures. He could have jot those numbers down just prior to inserting them. That black o ring starts to swell as soon as that cap is removed making it tougher to get into the injector seat and increasing risk for pinching it.

CHANGE YOUR VOLTAGE REGULATOR it’s so easy just remove the airbox and the cover on the alternator, I paid 40$ for the Bosch regulator at car quest. Mine left me stranded when it started charging at 17v and killed my battery, also was somehow discharging with the car off since the alternator would be hot after sitting overnight. Actually fixed a 3-4K rpm misfire too

I just started my build up of my 335i. I got pissed because I had to replace the engine gasket, oil pan gaskets, transfer case gasket, HDFP, Waterpump, and Alternator. So after all that I said eff it and got a ton of stuff going into the car. Injectors, walnut blasting intake, plugs, coils, FMIC, JB4, charge pipe w/Tial BOv, CPe dps, etc etc. Oh and M3 conversion just happened to the body too. I will have to do a walk around video at some point. This is just my DD while I figure out what I’m doing with my EVO X

Just an FYI on the mixed number injectors. I have the same issue with two index 6 injectors and four index 9 injectors. What happened was back in 2011 or prior there was an injector recall for the n54, but back then they would pull the injectors and test them and only replace the ones that failed whatever testing they did. So in my cars service history you can see the record of all six injectors being pulled and two of them were reinstalled and four were replaced. I assume the same thing possibly happened with your car.

I hate being that guy to say this but... I had a blue manual E92 in the same boat as you, came to a point of deciding either to full built the N54 or get rid of it and spend the extra for a F32... I honestly am glad I sold it and bought the F32, yes worse steering feedback, but way less issues, newer car, now with a simple tune and catless downpipe, I'm just satisfied and happy with it. I'm glad everything worked out for you in the end though!
P.S: I changed my injectors on my N54 and it was easy and fast, I didn't even have that pull out tool lol, but I did the job and had no issues with it.

I changed my injectors at home, and if you don't want to wait for the car to cool down completely and for the fuel system to depressurize, you could pull the fuel pump fuse will the car is running, it will quickly run the system out of gas and the car will turn off within seconds. That way when you disconnect the fuel rails they wont spray so much gas out.

-Ev1l yeah saving another 30-40k is easy to say and then what? The car is not going to stays stock, he would do the same with the M3 or M2

@@Deyan741 Im by no means saying that is what anyone else should do. In my case it wouldnt be worth the cost and unreliability to buy that car and do those upgrades, so i would rather save my money and get a newer, slower car that will likely last longer and be less work. If you add up all the cost of the car, the maintenance, and upgrades costs, it would likely be over $20k. I would just rather buy a used higher spec car to keep stock, rather than upgrade a lower spec car to be faster. I was just trying to start a discussion to see others thoughts on the financial aspect of this car, not telling other people what they are doing is bad.

I’d be interested in your new injector seals and o rings! And if you do the kit build a motor 1st so it matches the aggressiveness of the kit! The stock m20 with that kit, would not be a winner!

I broke one of the screw that holds the bracket by doing this like they did , using an impact drill , i knew it was stupid but i did anyways, turned out it was a nightmare to remove that screw. They really look like enthusiasts at the shop doing that and not torqued them properly 🤣

Shop around my house wanted $2000 for 3 injectors + labor. I bought index 12s on fcp euro(Lifetime warranty) and Changed them myself. You could code them on Protool as well. I did everything for about $750 😬

They are just revisions meaning they are better versions than the previous ones that came before.

Thanks for the upload, great channel
I noticed you only mention the cost of the parts, why not include the labor too? It would help people not make the same mistake.
IMO no one should have an n54 who can't change they're own water pump , inlets, down pipes...ect.... the cost is way too high. Just my .2 cents
