Sure, I remember. Imho, unfortunately that forced Ukrainians to learn that they can only choose between war and slavery. And as they (rightfully!) chose to fight for their independance, impressively, we have to make a choice between appeasement and supporting a country that is fighting for our values, democracy and freedom.

In 1676 Denmark began ammunition production for the Danish military. In 2008 this factory was privatized to a Spanish company that in 2020 went bankrupt. Since then Denmark has had problems with getting ammunition. The Danish government has been talking about reopening the factory, but nothing has happened yet.
As a retired US military officer, it sickens me beyond words that my country’s “leaders” choose to place their personal political ambitions over the barbaric atrocities being committed against Ukraine and her peaceful people - to me, that is a war crime. And, unfortunately, if the administration changes, catastrophic consequences will occur.
I've been writing to White House, reps etc...Hope that writing little e-mails, etc, at least keeps Ukraine in their algorithms

We have our own, homegrown, problem child that hangs around with a few too many high-ups in global ultra nationalism.
He was primarily responsible for our division with the EU through misinformation and rabble rousing, unfortunately he’s on the ascendant again.
The methods they’re using are all identical and I have no doubt at all that we’re watching the results of a 20 year plan hatched in the Krumblin.
I find the outpouring of sympathy from around the world over the Moscow theatre event difficult to reconcile with the normalisation of atrocities done to Ukrainian civilians by Russia, to the point of disinterest, that prevails in the mainstream press these days.
I also have no doubt that my government could do more but are holding back because we have elections soon too and they wish to present a pretty economic picture without a big chunk missing due to military spending.

Suchomimus has satellite photographs of the ships. One appears to be listing and leaking oil being helped by three tugs on its way to the dry dock. The condition the other ship is inconclusive at the moment.

You know, somewhat surprisingly, I found out that I still have some sympathy for russians who have lost loved ones or have been injured.
But then I compare it to what they are doing to Ukraine on a daily basis... and I see that they are either celebrating or silent.
As a German, I know it is difficult to put up a resistance movement. And maybe, as I don't speak Russian, I am simply not aware of movements like this and maybe there are movements like the white rose and we simply don't know it.
But I can understand now how frustrating it must have been for the alliance in1940 or so.

It looked like there were 2 oil spills from ships in Crimea, and one of those was being towed into dry Dock. Even if they can be fixed, it still causes a delay in delivery and logistics. Even a short delay at the start of the chain can cause problems further up the logistics chain.

Think one of those Russian ships, the one moored to the dock is damaged! It looks like it has a 10 or 15 degree list to Port looking from its bow/Look closely at the zoomed pic,it looks distinctly lower to the water on its port side and higher where the explosion mark is on the dock.
