      Well it won't win the war, but action is a cure for frustration and you do lots with your content continues to sustain support for Ukraine. Shifting US or EU wide politics is way beyond most of us. Maybe put even more emphasis on the fundraising?. Worked for the drones.

    US should have sent ALL 155mm DPICM, as they're PAYING to have it all taken apart.
    Where's the UK's contribution to buying the ammunition the Czechs sourced?
    Where's the increased supply of air defence - ANY air defence?
    If Ukraine is forced into some kind of compromise, Putin WILL rearm, retrain & then attack again.

      The U/R regional conflict was almost settled in April 2022, but then NATO (Boris) interrupted to tell pres Z to walk away from the nearly completed mutually agreed settlement because "We can beat "weak" Russia".
      And the war was on.

    The US has failed to take a leadership role. The current administration has done a very poor job of communicating to the American people what our goal in Ukraine is and why it is vital to our interests. We have trickled in arms except for man-portable arms and artillery ammunition. Very few Hi-mars, very few ATACMs, very few M-1 tanks (there are thousands and thousands sitting in storage), no F-16s. When are we going to get serious about defeating Russia? When I compare the courage of the Ukrainian leaders to the timidity of the US leaders it makes me depressed and ashamed.

      Biden and his administration is obviously afraid of Russia, so they don't try to help Ukraine to actually win this war. They appear to just give Ukraine enough resources to keep them in the fight, hoping for an eventual negotiated settlement between Ukraine and Russia or Russia just gets tired of fighting and leaves Ukraine. This is not a good strategy or goal in my opinion. America, not just Biden, wants European countries to step up and take the lead in helping/supporting Ukraine. Americans are tired of fighting wars that don't turn out well and cost many fortunes. Europe wants America to step up once again and take the lead. Biden and Republicans agree on very little and now that the Republicans hold a slim majority in the House of Representatives, they want/insist on Biden compromising with them on a number of policy issues, especially by closing the Southern border to illegal immigration, which Biden refuses to do, so the Republicans hold up Biden's spending bill which includes some funding for Ukraine. Bottom line, the West is tangled in knots right now. We can't seem to get our priorities aligned.

    I'm a Polish guy living in Canada for a long time. Somehow have lots of Ukrainian friends and moved to Canada thanks to one. I agree with you, and am furious at the way West has been responding. There has been some bad history between Poland and Ukraine. I've been praying for a long time for those relations to improve. I'm sure they did. Poland has done quite a bit. I've heard comments that without Poland's help the war would've been long over. Regardless, it's absolute bs that we are now where we are. Ukrainian heroes are dying for us and we do so little to help. I'm' so mad. I'm not surprised you were lost for words.

      @@TheEvertw I can't easily go to Washington, or even Washington D.C. But I have contacted my elected officials there and let them know how I feel. I voted in the Republican primary. I voted for Haley. I voted against a Senator who voted against the bill that passed in the Senate but is still stalled in the House. I voted against a Representative who hasn't signed the discharge petition that would force a vote which would pass in the House. I have conversations with family, friends and neighbors about why we should support Ukraine. I also discuss what I consider the obvious threat that trump poses to our nation, NATO and the world.
      It would be a two day drive for me to go to D.C. and another two days back. I don't have an RV would I would to find places to stay. If a protest last a few days,, well hotels in D.C. are kinda pricey. I could drive 2 or 3 hours to get to a commercial airport, arrive 2 or 3 hours early for security and check in. Depending on where I depart from and when I plan to travel, round trip tickets are in the $700 to $1000 range, and I'd still need a place to stay, cab fares etc. For what? Maybe network news would cover it if it turned into a riot.
      I do what I can to support Ukraine and Ukraine focused channel. And I VOTE !!

      I live in Eastern Europe with 70 years old parents who lived in the Soviet times, both university educated well read and speak English. And they consider everyone else how doesn't understand this just stupid even me, their own son.       @@Scaleyback317 - FYI, I'm an American, a Republican, and a Trump supporter. I want the US to support Ukraine to the extent we can. I want Ukraine to win this war by pushing the invaders out of all Ukrainian territory. I believe most Republicans agree with me on that. I believe Trump will step up and support Ukraine to actually win, not just push for a negotiated settlement with Russia. He said he's frustrated with this war, that he believes Putin would not have invaded Ukraine had he remained our President (which I tend to agree with), and he wants the war to end quickly. He has not said he would force Ukraine to end the war by capitulating to Russia. I think Trump will give Ukraine a lot more support than Biden has to end the war quickly. Biden is afraid of Putin but Trump is not. BTW, if Biden would honor his promise to uphold the laws of the country as he pledged to do when he became President, he would close the Southern border to illegal immigration. Republicans in Congress have said that if he would do that they would pass a spending bill to support Ukraine. Biden could do that tomorrow. He has all the same authority to defend and protect our borders that Trump had, and Trump finally got the Southern border closed before he left office. Biden immediately opened it within days of becoming President. As I see it, the first domino to fall is in Biden's control and that would get Ukraine more of the help they need. Is this an unreasonable request? I don't think so.

      I lived in the States for a few years including working in law enforcement. I served as the, "Brit contingent" with two US units. 16 years served in the British Army as an integral partner in NATO, some of that on UN duties also. My wife was USAF.
      There is nothing you can do or say to convince me the US is not capable of juggling two balls at the same time (The wall and Ukraine) You could add a dozen more balls and the US would not need to break into a sweat contendng with them. So just why is the wall the deal breaker when dealing with the Russian invasion (and slaughter) of Ukrainians?
      I doubt there is even a possibility of a negotiated settlement in Ukraine. We, the countries who said we would guarantee the security of Ukraine when the nukes were handed meekly over to Russia made sure we did as little as possible as often as possible to give Tsar Putrid the notion he could do it again and again and we would write letters to the ambassador/give press conferences/talk hard for the tv/act indignant in public/give Ukraine some old junk we couldn't start up any more and that was out duty done - your country and mine did that. How fucking proud are we that we did next to nothing whilst this was planned and executed by Russia and then the bedwetters started pissing themselves 'cos Russia's got nukes!
      Of course the Orange (probably sociopathic, narcissist) ego you so worship wants it and everything else over quickly - Wonder what his attention span might be. He might yet get the chance to work in that in prison.
      If I had stayed in the US (my wife, born NY raised in FL, having lived in the UK wanted to return and though I enjoyed my time in the states realized I was never going to settle there for good and in fact was considering taking a job in Germany where I had previousy served - point though I would have almost certainly been a natural fit for the Republicans rather than anything the Democrats seemed to have to offer Reps are wrong on your health care scams and gun laws but other than that the Democrats had nothing to offer IMHO.
      Yet with all of that I would have walked away from the Republicans the moment that personality disorder raised his head - what more does he have to do to convince the cult he should not be allowed access to any form of power other than maybe his own businesses where he could be held accountable (eventually) for his egotistical wrongdoings.
      All the republicans in congress have done is dance to his tune for the glorification of him and his cult - and once again who has paid the price? Millions of Ukrainians as refugees in Europe and hundreds of thousands of Ukrainian males killed/wounded/castrated/tortured/burned/murdered and tens of thousands Ukrainians kids abducted into Russia to be Russified and one day returned to Ukraine to do Russian bidding, how many thousands of Ukrainian females raped and murded (btw it is not uncommon for some Russians to rape the men as well - much of this was avoidable, had the west responded in the manner in which it should have in 2014.
      Now all the Republican party (or at least those in fear/thrall of the orange ego man - those with a shred of decency in their makeup have decided to quit) can do is delay/prevaricate/play Moscow Marje's bizarre charades just to score points over something which both sides of the house should be working together on. I patrolled the iron curtain for years, stood facing communist uprising and terror tactics for years elsewhere in the world also and I can assure you - Russia in any guise, no matter what lipstick it's wearing and what drivel they are expounding has not changed one iota - the only change has been the gang running it. Now just what they have on the orange imbecile you and I can and probably never will know but they have something which is promoting his bizarre attitude/behaviour toward them and he will sell you and every US citizen to whomsoever take his fancy as he ducks, dives, lies his way through life - because that's his personality disorder (IMHO) the thrill he gets is from subjugating and conning and getting away with it - and he's got so good at it he can even be open about it and do it in full view of the camera and world press and still convince a cult that he's the Messiah!
      No friend of Biden here (just another plastic paddy IMHO and we've had a gutful of them coming from the US) but even I have to reluctantly hope he somehow manages (for the sake of the free world at large not just for the US alone) to win later this year and in the meantime get some common decency and order into your government because every day there are good people being killed and a fledgling democracy being bombed to the ground (quite literally to the ground) so Trump can further his cause (which will turn out not to be yours unfortunately for you) for the betterment of Trump and fuck everybody else.

    Treachery Treachery Treachery.....my heart goes out to Ukrainians....but what good is that????. I make small monetary contributions to Ukraine. Because we are a neutral nation, we can only finance humanitarian aid. We also give refuge to 100,00 Ukrainians. I am a pensioner. I wish I was younger. I would willingly go to Ukraine to help, even in a soup kitchen. I met a young Ukrainian man (mid thirties probably) last week. I asked him why was he not helping Ukraine fight for his country's freedom. His answer was "I'm finished with the army". He is living very comfortably here in Ireland at the expense of the state. He is one of many able bodied Ukrainian men living here. Victory to the Ukrainian heroes who are fighting for freedom from the aggressor Russia. Slava Ukraini 🇺🇦 from Ireland 🇮🇪

      Y’know - there’s a very good likelihood that the US doesn’t have any ammunition left to give (without leaving itself in a position of being unable to prosecute a war)… I’m not gonna go on about the many reasons this may be true (or possible) as most are obvious (and the rest easily searched out), but don’t for a minute think that corruption and complacency doesn’t exist in the US MIC - especially after the fall of the USSR and how the “situation” dictated where fund allocations would go…

    Hi Georgi, I sit in front of my computer for hours each evening watching all the news, and listening to all the vlogs about Ukraine. Although I'm in South Africa, my roots are Ukrainian, and can fully empathize with what you are saying. I'm looking at the shambles of what this country has become, what the US has become, and what Europe has become. I'm asking myself right now " How in God's name can there actually be anyone who applauds or appeases the tyranny that's going on?" " What has happened to honour and integrity?" How do President Zelenskyy, minister Kuleba, minister Umerov and everyone else working under these conditions actually manage to persevere and keep calm, I simply can't imagine.

    One company doing business with russia is the German company "Hochland SE" located in Heimenkirch. They have three factories in russia and stay there because "they have a responsibility as as a food company to feed russians". Brands of Hochland are Almette, Gruenlaender, Patros, Gervais, Hochland, SimplyV.

    I feel your despair, Georgijs. Here in Germany the situation is even worse than in the US. Like a quarter of the population, especially those who had a good life in GDR/East Germany, do not see russia as an evil. They see Putin more like a big good brother, which recently made a mistake. This narrative "russia can't be beaten" is still heard almost daily.
    I fear there is no magic solution to turn this to the better. The only "solution" I can think of is patience. Humans shattered in their fundamental beliefs can change only gradually. But see how Macron from France took 2 years to find the right attitude? See how European ammo production gets up to speed? 3 years after the need became obvious, but it does get up to speed. That's how these things work. Big changes take big time. They do change. Slowly, but ineviteably.
    Ukraine isn't lost. Actually, they're probably at the bottom of the curve right now. Brilliant as they are, they managed to help them selfs with all that drone developments. Petr Pavel from Czechia did a few stunningly brilliant moves. Ammo is about to arrive. And while Ukraine is at a low right now, russians can still advance in homeopathic doses, only. There is a huge shiny light at the end of the tunnel, it gets closer quickly.

    When I was 21 fear stopped me doing a trip, Kathmandu to London. I am 66 and still regret it.
    I taught my children that fear is not an excuse to not do something unless dangerious.

    Thanks Georgi - hard to hear this from you, but welcome all the same. My heart feels physically crushed with despair some days and it helps to know I'm not alone. Europe is moving, but too little and too late, with the exception of a few Eastern European nations, who truly understand. The one nation who has the available arms in a quantity to truly help Ukraine immediately - the US - is literally doing nothing. I don't think this is what decent American people want - but I don't see any big demonstrations in any major cities saying "arm Ukraine now" either. Feeling just plain sad and very disillusioned with the so-called democratic allies of Ukraine, including my own countries - Canada and the UK. We can do so much more - we need to find the courage of the convictions we espouse. Walk the walk!

    In recent interview to Silicon Curtain Ben Hodges said there is no strategic objective in the US government in regards to Ukraine. Until the strategic objective is proclaimed that Ukraine should win and we should do everything possible for this to happen and ASAP, it will be like this, uncertain movements back and forth.

    Politics, my wounded heart friend. Imagine Russia was kicked out of Ukr in 2022. They would still have a lot of army soldiers, a lot of rockets, tanks airplaines and ships. Plus a huge buget to rearm and come back in 5-7 years with a vengence. Now, look at their economy, at the armored vehicle situation, troups morale, shame on international stage, low armament sales internationaly, ammount of sanctions and work force super diminished. 2 more years and Rusia is gone.     Letting the land lease expire was the biggest mistake. That completely bypasses congressional votes.

    You are 100% justified in feeling the way you do. I am just a simple gravel hauler, but the deficit between what the West should be doing for Ukraine and what it is doing is so painfully obvious to me. If fear of putin's nuclear threats allows a russian victory in Ukraine, then the West better get comfortable with a putin-controlled world since the nuclear threats are not going to end

    Don't be sorry to express how you feel about the facts of the current situation. I live in area if Canada that if it were in the states, would have solidly voted the great orange leader in twice. Depressing. But I look at that artillery shell story initiated by the Czech's and it gives me hope. That there is enough of the willing to save Ukraine and the rest of civilization. Thanks for being one of them.

    Hey Georgijs, it is great to see you. I hear what you & your heart iare saying. I honestly believe the worst is still to come (for Ukraine, Europe, the whole world). I would prefer not to think this way but I'm not seeing the light at the end of the tunnel. I hope for the best but I'm not sure how to prepare for the worst. Georgijs, continue being strong.       Many lights at the end of the tunnel, all visible:
      - Ukraine building brilliant drones in masses.
      - Macron found the right attitude.
      - Ammo production finally getting up to speed.
      - Ammo bought elsewhere.
      - Stunning Petr Pavel from Czechia, who drops one brilliant move after another. These Kremlin payments to German politicians were also a publication of him.
