Man you're the fastest teardown reviewers ever
👍
@@PBKreviews teardown infinix gt 20 pro pliss
For their first phone, this is surprisingly easy to disassemble. Props for moondrop engineer.
This is how the standard should be, easy to repair, easy to disassemble/reassemble, the parts are also seperate
Also no heat gun
If all the phone manufacturers does like this, we could have the best phones to disassemble without being scared of breaking a part
yup, only drawback is the housing has to be made of flexible material like plastic and that causes it to warp over time. A few times its opened, it won't hold together as well as before.
Those company will say something like "We need adhesive to make it water resistance" which I believed Samsung once have a removable back panel with water resistance phone.
At least in DAP's world iBasso start to make it easier to replace battery, just remove 2 screws and battery is using JST connector.
Wow what a phone, my only gripe is I wish it was smaller, but other than that, Dual DACs, a balanced audio port, easy to replace battery, love to see it!
Wow i didn't expected you make video for this one 👏
👍
As for me, it’s a great solution for people who love music and need a smart phone for a long time (which is easy to change the components yourself if it breaks)
no more dongles :)
but it also presents the problem that you need to completely disassemble the entire phone if you crack the screen, along with that, where would you find parts
Wow so unique device. Thanks for covering. ❤
You're welcome, glad you enjoyed it. :)
Unbelievable... Didn't expect you to do this one.😂😂😂 They just released it not long ago... Keep up the good work! 😁👍🏻
This one's epic. I wanted to see a teardown of the miad for quite some time. In a world of flat slabs, it's a pretty unique phone.
👍
I never expected that you will teardown this phone. Thanks 👍
You're welcome
Man, you are crazy! Disassemblying such a rare phone😮
Good jod!
Thank you 😀
Nice video bro keep it up🤙
Thanks!
Is there gonna be a giveaway? I want this phone so bad 😭. Great teardown btw subscribed instantly 👍
I wanna see more major tech channels review the Miad
By far the most beautiful phone of 2024...
The construction reminds me of the Nokia N9 from 2011.
Unibody polycarbonate shell, wrapped screen.
HMD should revive this design style, instead of a generic looking phone they now have
Wow! Never heard of this phone! I thought they only made headphones & ear pieces. Thanks for the video 👍🏾
You're welcome!
Just add headphone jacks, dacs and sd card slot to a Lava Blaze Curve phone. 😅
Thanks mate
You're welcome
Nice video ❤
Thank you :)
where and which are the dac and amp chips ???? thanks
Super love the teardown. I'm super interested in thid phone for the audio stack, so the repairability score it ended with was super promising. But a decent score means nothing without parts availability, I hope we can show the industry up with this one!! Thanks for the exposition!
Thank you, and you're welcome!
I can’t find a case for this phone. Any recommendations?
Super!
👍
does it have the androud playstore??? to install the aps i
want from there as any phone?
thanks
Here I was waiting for someone to make in depth review of this phone but this madlad already post disassembly.
I heard you don't get Google Mobile Services with this phone which is a bummer as I really want to get the Moondrop MIAD 01, the spec on paper is great enough to compete with low-end midranger like Samsung A35 or Motorola Edge 40 Neo while still providing headphone jack(s) and 2TB expendable SD card slot.
I love Moondrop audio products and I'd get this phone if they release it with fully functional Google Mobile Services out of the box.
Dang no OIS...welp at least Moondrop don't lie when they said the camera " not good but it work " on their official site lol.
it can use google apps very easily
Well idk why will anyone buy it. Who tf cares about sd card. You can use a usb too and sometimes usb 3.2 gen 2 if your phone has and connect it to nvme adapter with nvme ssd
lol yeah, I liked how they described it. Honest yet funny.
@@rajmangalpandey3910 uh me ? Hence I always buy Sony phones
Nice to know battery can be replaced without too much trouble
👍
I never heard that brand before until now
No dedicate separated audio board? It's look like normal smartphone mainboard to me
Who is the assembler of this smartphone?
The design is similar to ZTE, maybe they make it?
Is this phone have gyroscope sensor??
I wanted to see the audio circuitry in more detail.
As someone from the audiophile community, I live this device. Would have really appreciated if.you could have shown.the DAC chip as that has been an as to.which DAC chip uses is it the CS43131 or the CS43198
I would have but some of the components are in covered shields which are soldered so I show as much as I can without risking damage to the main board or parts. Also I'm not verse in every single chip on the motherboard to know exactly which version or type it would be since not all are clearly written on them exactly which one they are, so I would need access to certain databases to look up components by part number written on them. Hope this explains it somewhat. :)
It uses 2 CS43131 chips.
Overall, the 4.4 audio port has better sound quality than a regular phone, and is almost same with the company's other product, the Dawn pro(around $80). And its 3.5 audio port has a lot of feedback with significant background noise. Its speakers, so to speak, just work. Considering its $350 price, it is not recommended to buy unless you really want to play with this novel product.
2*CS43131
Very unique smartphone... hope it can develop and enter my country legally
👍
Nice
👍
I have a favor if u dont mind doing. So a dap will no longer be fucntional if the battery dies. So my question and favor is. If this phone unit does not have the battery inside and is connected to the wall. Will it still turn on and be able to use? If so i might get one for myself :)
Usually phones require the battery to power on and work. There are a few phones which specifically have a bypass and one being one of the gaming phones (I don't remember off the top of my head which one) so they will operate without having to power through the battery to save battery charge and use life. But unless the phone is specifically designed to do it, by default they won't work without a battery. This phone being one of those which I'm almost positive wont work without a battery.
Just took it apart to test, and yeah, wont work without the battery.
@@PBKreviews thank you for doing that for me :) it's a shame it won't work that way :(
yup, no problem.
@@PBKreviews the way you try it again just to make sure the phone will work or not without the battery make you the best.
GOOD
👍
The audio chip is the same as the dawn pro dac.
Hi, did you spot the chip? I didn't notice it so assumed its under one of the covered shields.
Well that does not look so bad actually, its very much serviceable
👍
hmm not showing the dual dac chip
This is the fastest teardown I have ever seen..... Thermal Paste looked like a Bubble gum...
:)
I thought it going with dedicated DAC, i confused...
So this is basically a 9.5 after the spares from China become more available to buy. That's easy for the nearby markets, like Japan, the Koreas, Southeast Asia, and Russia where shipping charges aren't much.
whoa, now moondrop also making phones?
yup 👍
2 jacks? dang
yup 🙂
Is that microSD i see 👀👀
yup :)
Hey bro OnePlus Nord CE 4 teardown test
Ill try to do it as soon as I get a chance
It's old wicked windows phone - Nokia Lumia design's
Disassemble a vivo t3x and answer why vivo is using green motherboard and other brands are using black motherboard.❤
Well many brands use green, even Motorola. I'm sure there are more than one reason why.
Teardown of oneplusNord ce 4 plezzzz😢😢
I will try to get to it when I can, I have some other videos I still need to finish
Bro please iqoo z9 5g
Hi, I don't do IQOO phones since I don't get enough viewers to justify spending the money on the phones.
Hi
Hello
when did they make a phone I'm dead 💀💀💀💀
Just recently :)
problem is i cant find this phone in my country
you can order it online
@@PBKreviews where? and kinda scared to order online too but ill try to research
the design is nice, but the processor is kinda bad for 400 bucks, im not hating on moondrop because its their first phone, i dont hate the company in general i own the moondrop spacetravel wireless tws and i love it but this phone is 30 bucks more expensive than my poco f5 and my phone has atleast 200% more performance
Mubadzir 🎉🎉🎉
This is hot-swapable phone
we should support these kind of companies fr not removing stuf looking at other brands, cause earphones jacks are important no matter wt nd ill never support this no 3.5mm jack bullshi
It build like 100 dollars Phone
Just smartphone 😂😅
kepala ku pusing melihat pengaturan kamera mu...
Akamma
This is really electronic waste😂
Why?
