Parlor Guitar Build - Part 3 - Adventures in Laminating (Great Guitar Build Off 2021)

  • I'm building a parlor guitar for the Great Guitar Build Off 2021! Now that the neck is complete, I continue the build by bending and laminating the sides, and preparing the neck and tail blocks.

    I think candleing is what I do when I get a new light and want to see if it shines through my hand :)

    The denim pine is such a nice grain. It would be great if you could re-purpose the first two sides. Interesting to see how you've dealt with the problems that have cropped up. Great work!!

    I'm from Brazil. I would like to know what is the blade depth that you used in this project , good job dude

      Thanks! Do you mean body depth? The guitar is 95mm deep at the bottom and 88mm at the neck.
