I love it, and the design looks capable of accomodating a standard scale length as well. A body mounted pickup with no surround, or a just smaller pickup in general could even out the visual parts-to-body size discrepancy issue that often accompanies instruments of this size. Impressive finish work as well. I hope your son loves it.
Initially, I made the mistake of thinking 3/4 scale *litterally* meant 3/4 the size. I figured out my mistake during the design phase, when I realized the guitar would be much too small. I determined the proper size through internet research. Someone out there put a chart together that laid it all out - I'm sorry I can't remember who it was or what site it was. In any case I landed on a scale length of 580mm (approx 22 13/16"). Thanks for watching!
