Hey! So we’ve really been struggling with the parameters of our Elegoo Phedca 20w:.. I followed your video step by step, paying to catch up and going back when needed… and now my laser is trying to burn off the field and the cradle is slamming into the housing… any help would REALLY be appreciated.
Hello thank you for sharing your knowledge, it is really useful. My problem in "Home" position with endstops, I am in negative position -15... -15.... What command to use to position the "home" in X0 Y0, as in your example. When I move around the workspace I'm always out of bounds. Merci
hello buddy....I'm using a laser tree laser module on grbl firmware....I can't Find my laser tree 10w on the grbl material DB... Another one is when opening file for cut...or engrave...that raster image setup pop up don't cone up....please any help is anticipated..thanks😊
Great video, but I ran into some problems. After enabling the soft limit ($20=1), my laser completely froze into its position. After that I got an alarm 2 and everytime I try to disable the soft limit ($20=0) I cant do it because the console does not work. Any idea how I could fix that ?
Try $X to unlock it,, then $20=0. Don't use soft limits unless you have a homing culycle or it will set your current position as the max X and Y depending on your homing mask.
@@brakthehun I typed $X into the console but it just stays there and does nothing. Pressing the lock icon also doesn't work. Is there any other way to unlock it?

Could I make the homing cycle start with the Y-axis first then the X-axis?
Yes. Make Y cycle 0,, then X cycle 1.

Try restarting the machine 1st,, then doing a $X.
I restarted the machine and tried again but it still won't unlock it.
