    Very interesting concept to flip the motor direction to intentionally flip the g-code for particular use-cases. Great video work and thanks for sharing!

      Thank You, yeah as I could not automate flipping the image in my work flow, just made the machine do it for me.

      It is a good hack, but you need to remember that all your climb cuts become conventional cuts and vice versa, if you invert one of the axes!

    So, wondering if you might be able to help me. Just got a CNC laser engraver hand-me-down from a friend who never got it running. It has a GRBL 0.9 J+ controller that seems to be flashed with 1.1. Anyway, the Y axis will only move in one direction and for the life of me I cant figure it out

      $3 changes the axis direction
      $20 is soft limits
      $21 is hard limits
      $22 is homing cycle
      Try dialing 20,21,22 and see if you get the error.

    I don't know if I missed it, if you talked about it. But why do we get negative numbers after homeing? The small numbers, the machin "absolut" measurement from home position, or something.

    • @Zarundo
      @Zarundo Před 4 měsíci

      And is it possible to get the home position to be 0,0,0?
