ORAMASK - Application & 2 Color Paint Job
In the end it turned out great.
Thank you. Yes, it turned out better than what I thought it would.
I have a pi3 that has been running my 3D printer for 7 years. So I’m confident a pi5 would do fine.
Bob was a painter, not a carpenter
Does any one know of the BLB being installed on a onefinity
Paul, did you apprentice with me?
Either I apprenticed with you, or it's a trait of those named Paul.
Zed, baby! 🇨🇦
Sir when was upload surfacing program it's going to one line work and suddenly stopped and showing grbl 1.1h for help longmill mk2. Please help me....
Cease and desist if you made this for a Nintendo console lmao
Only problem is its only for windows, but I did get it ti run with crossover on Linux so it can run that way on a mach also. Since this isn't the first one I tried, I think this is the best. Thanks for the video. subscribed and will see what else you got Do you know why it makes 2 passes on some cuts even though the depth of my endmill is more than my cut depth, I had both the numbers the same and it still did 2 passes on some cuts. strange Get some good earth magnets, They'll keep that shut
Very nice, I can’t believe the supports in the first piece worked so well
Thanks, has taken some time to get those settings to that. Still room for improvement, but I'm happy.
Brilliant.
Nice job❤
Thank You!
Nice helmet bro. Great job on it.
Thank you, printing was the easy part, now putting it together and painting.
Great topic, thanks 👍
I like the filters. I have the non-chiller version and yours has lots more options
I like them, until i forget to clean them, lol.
My problem Monport is there sales dept and support. I bought and paid for a unit, and 30 days later it still hasn't ships. But for you, they ship it for free Sad
Thank you for reaching out, and sorry to hear about your experience. As a reviewer the one thing that is hard to test is the CS part. If you like to discuss this further, please send me an email. deepellumhammer@yahoo.com
Thank you, I will reach out.
Paul, very informative video. Nice that I don’t need to spend any money to learn all this stuff…lol. Looking forward to the pew pew part.
Thank you Paul. I'm looking forward to the pew pew part. Just have to have this weather stop messing things up.
Looking good brother. Now build a tall enough mobile stand that you can put that chiller underneath and have some material storage. Pew pew pew! 😃
Thank you. Yeah, going to have to build something for it, if it stays...
I want one
Well there goes me bragging about my K40...Thanks Paul!
The K40s are great lasers! They also have a much smaller footprint, which could be very beneficial in a crowded shop.
I'm currently thinking about integrating a pi5 with a 26" touch screen into my electronics cabinet for my cnc router. The router runs on FluidNC and I've been using CNCjs for testing and I've grown to like it.
I got CNCjs to run on my Pi 5. It was really simple, just follow the instructions. I forgot to enable the kiosk mode and redid the setup but it doesnt seem to have changed the setting so I'll probably just make a little script that on boot starts the browser in fullscreen mode at localhost/#/workspace. I also want to mount google drive as a storage medium so i can save files on my PC to the drive and load them from there on the RPi. I can also acces the CNCjs webinterface on my PC with the IP of the Raspberry as both are in the same network. Next up is testing if it works with my controller and then comes the monitor
Thanks for detail checking for Monport 80W laser ❤❤❤
Paul, good unboxing / uncrating video. The height does seem like it would be a problem if you are normal height or taller. Do they offer a leg set? Looking forward to the next video.
Thank You Paul! They do, but this is the one I was sent. It's all good, going to get some exercise in from all the squatting, haha.
Congrats Paul! I am looking forward to following this series. I bet you will get a stand build soon!
Thank you. Yes, i definitely need a stand if I'm going to continue to use this.
Pretty cool Stuff!
It looks pretty cool right now, we shall see how it goes once it's fired up.
Great video Paul. Congratulations on the new pew pew machine. I can't wait to see what you make with it. I'll be watching for your next video, "Building a stand for my new Monport Laser". 😃
Thanks Dave! If it stays in my shop, I will be building a stand, other wise my back will divorce me.
Thanks for the video. As you seem comfortable with Linux, as you have been using a Raspberry Pi, you might wish to install Linux on the Mini-PC you purchased, and then run the gSender-1.4.6-Linux-Intel-64Bit.AppImage (I run Debian Linux on an Intel PC and run gSender AppImage on that).
I might just do that.
How did you cure ringing?
I didn't just set the slicer to 0.16 and used matte black. The front of the drawers are the pei plate texture.
Keep up the amazing work!
Thank you, and I will.
The boyyyyy
Your daughter’s stuff turns out a lot better than my projects do.
LoL, hers are turning out better than mine.
Great job sir. I love the P1S. I know a guy that has some videos on Bambu Studio.
Thank you. I am going to have to watch them!
Sir my machine show's error 3 invailte statement and one other that's shows grbl (1.1h) for help.. Sir please help me my machine is not going to joging
Paul, success is yours!!
Nice job sir! Dedicated rotary for the old board?
Did not think of that my mind went a little more decorative and star trek, LOL. Who would have thought.
This is a great video DE! I like the LTT screwdriver too. Glad you got all the wiring sorted out with some reading and I hope you're liking the new board haha. I agree with your pain on 32-bit support, let me know if you have any other feedback on it 👍
Thank You. I am really enjoying the SLB. From the design to all the additional features. Just need time to dig deeper into it.
Theres a cam Addon for blender in development calle blendercam. I have made 2.5 carves just by taking my 3d object and scaling it flat and generating my tool path directly from the scaled model
Thanks dear sir💕💕💕 thanks
Sir i have a question thats all of port connected but I can't joging and running. There are showing probe fail. Another u r open a new chat that's dollar 3 setting. ods-open office.. I can't understand the formula. How can understand.. I'm new and helpless.. Please
$3 changes the axis direction $20 is soft limits $21 is hard limits $22 is homing cycle Try dialing 20,21,22 and see if you get the error.
This is great, thanks for making this video so I'll know how to hook it up before I get mine!! I appreciate this. So did the board come with any instructions or anything like that?
Thank you. No included instructions, but they have guides and pin outs online.
@@D.E.Hammer Ok, cool. Thanks.
@D.E.Hammer I think this is pretty funny; we spent all that time trying to get that remote controller to work on my machine, and now this board has a port for a pendant, that'll work even better!!! 😆😆 Now we just have to find out which, or what kind of pendant will work with it. 🤔
This is the best SLB video so far. Thank you for making it. I should be getting my SLB tomorrow or Tuesday. :)
Thank You. You are going to really like the SLB, Sienci really did a great job with it.
Nice setup.. What is that project beside u at looks like a playstation holder... Keep it up brother
It is a playstation stand. Wanted to work on that this weekend, but was kind of excited to get the slb set up.
How did you handle the dust?, i want to put this cnc in my room, i have no garage
You would want to build an enclosure. I'm not sure you want to run a vacuum with acrylic shavings. I'm pretty sure that's what killed my first shop vac. So you would need to sweep out the enclosure.
@@D.E.Hammer I'm planning on making DIY vacuum using washing machine pipe (flexible and small) and 12V fan, in the other end of pipe i'm going to attach it with the spindle, so it should suck the debris. I don't know how good it is but i'm gonna try that..
@@D.E.Hammer thanks for telling your experience about yout vacuum
Go Vikings. Great video. First time hearing about acrylic. Looks like it would be something fun to try. I too have a long mill--Great machine
Acrylic is fun. Just remember to start with cast acrylic. I love my longmill and just added the SLB to mine.
There breaching the shield!
Very AWESOME my friend...... Looking like she might be needing her own machines....
I am all for it.
Thank you for such great video 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼😃
If it has gcode for NC Studio, then I will buy 2
Throwing Linuxcnc with gcode senders is a complete lack of understanding of Linuxcnc. The RPi5 as of now will only be useful with Ethernet or using the gpios. SPI is currently unsupported. Linuxcnc is far far more powerful than a gcode sender, as it is the cnc controller. It would have been helpful to state the difference between a gcode sender such as grbl and a cnc controller as linuxcnc.
Spi is supported with the remora project. Not every board is but most of the common btt 3d printer boards are
@@jamestennant3367 are you sure the RPi 5 is ? Just looked at Scott’s GitHub, the SPI driver is using the bcm2835 headers and that code is not for use with the RPi5. Unless of course there is a branch using the slower spidev interface or someone has got code going for the RPi5 natively rather than having to use the kernel driver.
Awesome!
This video helped me big time to start my own engraving projects, thank you very much! I have a question for you, I have my programs and for the engraving, most of the time it turns into a white pretty engraving, but some other times the engraving is just clear, no color. As it is the same programs and the same bits, what could be the reason for this to happen? Hope it makes sense for you.
