I abandoned ugs and went to lazergrbl same issue if I hit home it gives error code pin9 x limit pin10 y limit and pin 12 is torch on also can’t get it to come on
@@777smitty4 disable hard stops?? Plasma torches can be very noisy electrically.
At this point torch is not connected only the optical relay just for testing
Great video. Could you do a add-on on LaserGRBL version 7.X.X. There seems to be a lot of changes between 3.x.x and 7.x.x. Thanks

Hi when using laser grbl when I attempt to jog the y axsis the x axsis moves instead any ideas why this would happen?

@@kernowcoinringscornishcoin3999 it might be the orientation of the machine.

ok, can you please also show me how to connect the Atomstack to the computer via Wifi ?
You are stupid because on the ESP32 board there are WIN and GND pins to which you connect +5v and ground you did not have to cut the socket. This has nothing to do with the professionalism you mention.
WOW.. It's really wonderful.. Thank you for your effort, my friend ❤
thank you so much man, i have been looking for a good starter video on how to use this software and your video is perfect. thank you soooo much man ill sub and keep a look out for more
“Pull these off… maybe…” What an electrician thing to say haha
Do you have any plans on this design is love to do one.
Gracias por compartir lo que sabes, me ha servido un montón, armé una máquina CNC y con tus aportes he podido configurarla, un fuerte abrazo 🫂.
I close my eyes and see chuy from pawn stars
Maybe I'm him in the future. Ha!!
Is this suitable for atomstack S10 pro also?
Should be
Great tutorial 👌 Handy little tip... you can use a putty (here in AU we have Blu-Tack) to temporarily hold the board and wires while soldering. I use this trick all the time for electronics repairs and assembly
o7 really needed this was stupid enough to not put the strip.show outside the for loop lol
I did the same thing at first
Excellent video
Hi, I have an atomstack s20 max. The power of the laser is 18-20w. They cannot cut plexiglass (acryl) 3 mm at all. Is the problem that the laser power is low, or did I not set good parameters for cutting? I use the lightburn program
The AtomStack S20 is a blue laser. Clear plexi does not absorb blue. It passes right through. To engrave / cut clear plexi - you will need a different laser. People usually use a CO2 laser because it is a far infrared beam. at that wavelength,, the acrylic completely absorbs the energy. Unlike blue that passes right through,, the plexi can't pass the IR and it absorbs the energy letting it engrave / cut.
@@brakthehun THAN YOU
Thank you soooo much for taking time to explain how to use a laser so a layman as myself can understand.
Awesome!
thank you so much these are great help!
right click, adjust image. lightburn
Do you have to connect the machine? Can I just send files to an SD card with the Creality Falcon 10W?
I see that it has the SD slot but I don't see a way to access it from the front controls. You may have to connect directly
Thanks Tony! -Erin
Great video for GRBL But I have a little different setup looking for help arduino running separate drivers with ugs how would I connect switches I can’t find any advice on my setup
What's your setup??
I don’t have the GRBL shield I’m running straight off arduino unio
Thank you for your detailed tutorials ... helping me a lot as a beginner. If I had a wish to the LaserGRBL programmer ... I would like to have a second indicator for the actual laser power - just like the buffer "VU meter". This would help to utilize the full dynamic range of the laser power (instead of reading the actual Sxxx values while running).
He's very responsive. Request that!!
Great vid for a newbe like me. How do I reduce power?
how to installl this software?
Windows only. lasergrbl.com
very good video but why is the x axis 410 cuz im pretty sure the work are is 400 x 400?
Yours might be slightly different than mine.
Can you tell me how you got the parameter custom button?
The latest version of LaserGRBL has them by default but I have a video that shows you how to make them: czcams.com/video/wKgJeqJv_y8/video.html This was before they defaulted to have a perimeter button.
@@brakthehun got it.Thank you 😁
Thank you so much for creating this video. I learned a lot from it!
Thanks for helping me out.just to make sure when the driver is powered and stepper motor is not connected the a driver will burn out
Thank you so much for the this! This is literally what I needed for the project, as coding noob, this was mighty helpful, keep on making these solid videos!
The centreing and framing buttons are grey in laserGRBL even when successfully connected to my atomstack. I have just set it up for the first time. Does anyone know why this might be?
Load a file first. Make sure you're communicating
@@brakthehun Thank you
Can it be possible to draw "Thread Art" also called as "string art"
It's a plotter so sure. You can even attach a finer pen to get a more thread like look.
I don't have the import Raster Image when I open and image it place the image direct on work space and the work space change dimension depend on the image I load and it is impossible to move the image on the work space. What is wrong in my set up? I want to figure out why before buying and other software. Thanks if someone could help

Thanks for the video , helped me out setting up an MKS tinybee...
Thanks for the video! All the config files I have found do not show the control: and macros: ... are there any sample config files showing these? - it's strange they have been left out
Anthony, Thank you sooooo very much for this series of videos. You've covered all of the steps that other sites were missing. Your pacing and attention to detail are excellent. I also appreciate that you are not hyping up every video, you are just presenting the information. This makes it much more enjoyable to learn from. Thanks again.
do you know a way to enable wifi on boot after you first setup wifi?
How do you Home? I have not found it in another video that you mentioned. Thanks
Not all lasers have homing. YOu can force try it by typing in $H in to the console and hitting enter.
Thanks! you've helped a lot!
Thanks for posting. I got a laser off a friend who could not get tit running. I have it up and running, but the Z axis only goes 1 direction when using either arrow. Any thoughts? If I reverse the Y1 and Y2, it just goes in the reverse direction. I tested in LightBurn and it is the same so I am assuming its a hardware or working issue tho everything looks correct best I can tell
Beautiful project. My friend, I managed to run this project only once and I had to download it again and the IDE won't let me. Is this code open or not? Grateful.
Thanks man! from Sweden.
Excellent material here! Would you know how and where to add the code for a potentiometer to control brightness of the LED while the LED is in the ON state? Looks great!
Excellent material here! I am struggling to code and create a NeoPixel light (for a camera) that uses the RGBW strip (it has warm white as it's 4th "color"). The biggest solution to my problem so far was realizing the NeoPixel library calls these strips "NEO_GRBW". So by adding the "W" to "GRB", in the beginning of the code, I can better follow along with your training videos! Would you be able to create a video for a project that has: - On/Off Power Toggle Button - Potentiometer to control the strips Brightness - Second Toggle Button for FX (chase, color change, etc) I've been following along with your videos, but it gets a bit confusing once I start to combine button functions with the potentiometer functions, and subroutines. Again, great content here! Thanks!
Hi there need help, i setup mine wrong. I have a Burnlab A10 Pro but i believe it’s the same as yours only i entered the wrong working space n now it grinds up against the bar wanting to go past it. How do i change that and i also have it set to in/mm/m under diode. Should i change that to mm/s under CO2? I’m so lost 😢.
Hey! So we’ve really been struggling with the parameters of our Elegoo Phedca 20w:.. I followed your video step by step, paying to catch up and going back when needed… and now my laser is trying to burn off the field and the cradle is slamming into the housing… any help would REALLY be appreciated.
Hey Anthony, really love and appreciate your detailed guide on how to connect and wire everything, I followed your build and managed to get my homemade laser to work, but I'm stuck on where to connect limit switches and how to configure them in the GRBL software, I hope that you'll be able to make continuation on that topic since I couldn't find how you wired them anywhere. Thank you in advance ☺️
I had the whole series recorded then the SD card got corrupted. I will try to find a way to finish this series.
@brakthehun that would be lovely, to what pins on arduino should I connect limit switches?
