    Great vide this helps a lot with setting in the board. I can connect now but my motors just click and doesn’t move. I think I’m going to check my current setup now. Thanks for making this video

    So I have been following your series from the very beginning. I have been learning a lot. At first I was going to use cnc sheild + arduino uno on my custom diode laser engraver but I am thinking about using the mks dlc32 because I can use tmc2209. My design is corexy, so my question to you: did you install a fresh grbl build on this board or did you use the firmware provided by mks? Do you have any resource you can point me to on how to flash grbl to this board using corexy kinematics? Or At least the pinout that I can use with FluidNC, I can not find it anywhere. Thank you so much

    Good day, First of all I was following the lasergrbl buld and was able to setup my diy 40watt co2 laser with those totorials, thank you very much. I would like to know if this board can control my 40watt co2 power supply? (K40 type 2) with white terminals , laser off above 3volts and laser on on 0.3 -3volts. Your assistance would be highly appreciated

    • @brakthehun
      @brakthehun  Před 10 měsíci

      It certainly can. You may have to invert the control signal or use an NPN transistor with thise power supplies.

      @@brakthehun thank you for the reply, I used a NPN transistor with the CNC Shield and it worked perfectly for about a month but then then the arduino got fried on pin 11 for some reason beyond my understanding, how else can the signal be inverted? Is it possible via software?

    hi Iam Sangeark Kim from Korea
    3 months ago I bought 3018max metal cnc machine.
    It was damaged by an electric shock on the controler board. Then I bought the MKS ESP32 GRBL Control Board with 2209 chip.
    After installing the firmware program, the Com3 port was also connected normally. In the Candel Grbl program, it moves along the x, y, and z axes.
    However, if you press the PLAY button in the product processing program, the connection is immediately cut off. I'm in a panic and don't know what to do please help

    After following your Video (this Video) there's something pretty wrong now.
    I'm not an expert at all. I managed to flash FluidNC onto my DLC32 like you showed in your other video. Thx for that !! But after I put in my Wifi SSID + PW the responds in LaserGRBL is all cryptic letter salad and no more $-commands are possible. Note: The Board is not built into a machine. I tried to flash the board again but I still got that issue. then I ran the erase.bat to clear the ROM and flashed FluidNC again but still get back to were I was. What the heck went wrong here ? Actually I don't need that fancy wifi stuff. I just need it to work on a com port.
    Greatfull for any hint !

    I have the MKS DLC32 v2.1-003 and i can tell you now, DO NOT use wifi on these boards to send g-code. the wifi with die, and cause watchdog to reset the board, essentially losing your place, and ruining the project.
    The issue is WIFI + GRBL processing Gcode to step pulses = computational limit is being reached, this causes watchdog to reset the ESP32
    When using USB, i had zero issues, so i attached a Raspberry PI to the USB so i can use the device wirelessly, without all of the headaches with the WIFI stuffing up the works on the ESP32
