Really helpful video, thankyou. Have you engraved laserable rubber on your machine? I have an atomstack 20w and tried to make my own rubber stamps but struggling to achieve satisfactory results. My last effort seemed to be going ok but had to do 7 passes, taking half an hour a time and on its last pass it had moved a millimetre despite being taped down and made a mess! I'm wondering if I can get more depth per pass with different settings. I had it on 4000 mm/? 100% on dithering with a speed of 750. I'm not sure if 'flare ups' at this slow speed burned my fine details away too as it got deeper or if it happened on that last pass being moved. I don't want to waste any more of my A4 rubber sheet :( Or is there a better material to use on a 20w which would make a good fine detailed stamp?

Hello, thank you for taking the time to make this tutorial it is very helpful. I am wondering if you can help me with an issue I am having. My machine will run but nothing is burning or showing up on the material. Can you help me fix this issue?
First,, check your max S setting by typing in "$$" to your console. Look at what $30 returns. Make sure to set your Smax in the second setup screen to that value (typically 1000). Try using a slow speed like 200 or so. If things still do not burn,, you may have a bad diode.
Have another video for initial setup for first time users? I'm curious how I can tell if I actually received a 20w laser. How do I know what baud rate to use?
On Diode Lasers, the Rating is usually the laser's power consumption - not it's output. For a 20 W Diode Laser, the output power will be between 5.0 to 5.5 W. On the Baud Rate - unless you have a very old computer, use the fastest Baud Rate.

So with LaserGRBL I cannot position the image anywhere on the grid. So, for those of us who have the Pro version with the smoke alarm right by the Home (0,0) lower left corner; it detects smoke as soon as it starts because the etch/burn is within inches of the detector.
