[50] Fontaine 7 Slider Pump Lock Picked 360

Fontaine is a french push/pump slider lock with a couple different versions containing 5 and 7 sliders. Some of these locks are mastered and newer Fontaine’s have false gates. This model did not feel to have mastering or false gates.
A very nice open keyway to visually pick at the sliders getting a better understanding for what a bound, set slider, and slider at rest look and feel like.
The sliders respond somewhat tapered and even more so in a different direction of rotational tension.
It looks like the most common way to tension Fontaine is with a tight and shallow 90 degree bend in a wire.
I had great fun picking at Fontaine and recommend it to pickers wanting to learn to pick push/pump styled locks.

It was a failed tensioner I was trying to make for a lever lock, worked nicely for Fontaine though! Thanks man, it was a fun lock. I’d prefer picking at a Fontaine with the open keyway vs other push/pump style like ACE Tublar locks.
