I have the most amazing husband in the world now but my ex was an abusive person both physically and mentally and I put up with it for 3 years before finding my worth and walking away. it’s a crazy world out here! i can relate to this entire story (using your family & all for HIS gain) & how you explained that when they were telling you all the negative things about him, you were shocked because you never experienced that yourself.. it’s because he was so busy living a double life, he was able to give you the “good” side. which also helped him gain your trust.

The way this video triggered me, not because of anything i’ve been through but bcuz of the toxic rship story i had to sit and listen to this week from a friend. Nobody’s rship is goals for a next person for real. The things that ppl put up with and run back to is shocking. They always play the victim only to treat you the same or worst than the women they complain about. Wild smh. Literally every time I ask God to reveal whatever it is I need to see/know in no time it's revealed. I've been single 8yrs..dated here and there but everytime I say "Lord of he's not meant to be in my life let me know" it's been times he's let me know literally the next 5 minutes. I've been protected and saved from so many things and people. We have to keep our standards high and always know we are worthy of a God centered love and eventually marriage. I love you 💜

I’m really sorry this happened to you. I went through a breakup after dealing with someone who lied to me about something the whole relationship and was doing wrong behind my back. It’s hurtful. I could really relate when you said you don’t try to hurt people and you genuinely just want to love others. I felt that I had that same genuine part of me and to be done so wrong when you did nothing to deserve it sucks. I’ll never know why these men did what they did but I’m finding really hard to trust. I don’t see how people go from one relationship after being hurt to another but maybe that’s another step in the healing journey I haven’t experienced. All I know is that I just want to be alone because I can’t trust men anymore and it’s hard to find someone that is equally yoked and is at the same level of maturity and you’re at.
One thing I’ve learned is that these men are fighting demons and most of them need to be in therapy. Their cheating on you is not a reflection of you. I’ve had to learn how to build my confidence and self love without a man so if they do me wrong they can’t take that with them I still have it. I’ve started working out, taking myself on solo dates , working on my spiritual life and I’m telling you this situation did not rock me. God will bring you the right person in his time we just have to trust in that.

I had a similar situation happen to me around the time my aunt in California passed suddenly. I was literally laying next to him when I got the news few days later I found pictures of him & his wife that attended the same college as me, even had the same major. I told her and we talked about how he did us both wrong and how we deserve better. Guess what…they are still together. I’m sure I wasn’t the first or the last woman he cheated on her with & she found out about. You never know why they stay & get mad at everybody but the man but moving on is always best. Nobody is out here cheating on me because I’m outside & I’m single!
