As a young adult (18) I don’t think you know how much your videos have impacted me, ofc being plus size we have a different experience and you’ve helped me navigate some of those feelings without feeling like there is something wrong with me. You helped me gain more confidence, by giving us these tips and advice, and I definitely use them everyday. We don’t deserve any less than a “normal” sized women. I LOVE YOU CHRISSY!!🥰❤️❤️

I've dealt with insecurities for years being a plus size woman, now that I am in my late 30s and with 2 beautiful daughters, I have learned a lot. When I showed my insecurities or told a guy about my insecurities 99%of the times they PLAYED on them and made me felt even more devalued, I also learned that my insecurities held me back from being great🥲🥲.BUT NOW I AM THAT GIRL🤣🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰 AND I LIVE MY LIFE ACCORDING TO GODS WILL AND PURPOSE 💃🏽. And I am a great woman that has been designed for a great man..PERIOD! AND I AM NOT TAKING NO BACKSEAT FOR NO MAN.
As we get older we get wiser!! I'm 49, in my mid 30s I really found who I really was, stopped worrying about others opinion of me. As I've gotten older I have boundaries and say no to things that I don't want to do, whereas before I would say yes just to get along.

1. On your tip with being transparent a tip that I would give is that while I agree be careful. Yes make sure they meet everyone and pass tests and are integrated, but don’t put all your business in the streets because when we get passed the issue some times our tribe doesn’t.
2. I had the same perspective as you about living with someone until I met my current boyfriend. I ran him through some tests like pretending I didn’t want to get married and he wasn’t having none of that it was marriage or nothing. I also don’t do wifely things regularly such as cooking if I don’t feel it it’s not happening. Intimacy….HA! I flat out said it’s not happening on demand when you want it or even when I want it because we aren’t married. The last part is probably what has kept us on track to getting engaged at the end of the year and married this time next year. Let me also state that he and I are in our early 30’s and are ready for kids and he understands no last name change no babies. You have to know the mindset of your partner and make sure that his words are not just empty words. Also he comes from a family that values marriage. There are a lot of things at play 😂😂😂.
God set things up the way he did for a reason 🙌🏾 Celibacy until marriage weeds out the time wasters and counterfeits. Know your worth and the purpose you are walking in 💕 the right man will be all you want and more!

I’ve been binge watching your videos for the last 2-3 days I love your content, it’s like talking to a homegirl. You def hit the nail on the head w/ most of these frfr and I agree and have the heaviest issue with the “not giving wifey while not being a wife” “over-prioritizing others”; it’s so very hard though just like you, I’m naturally a nurturer and want to do and give for the people I love (not even just dating wise but in general; with friends and family as well) and it sucks cause it’s like you have to hold back a really big part of yourself but it’s very necessary especially nowadays with most people being users, leeches, and just energy drainers in general.
After years of hard work I’ve done pretty well with all the rest of these but that one (mentioned above) is the hardest, once I love you, I wanna make life easier for you lol. I try to be the person (I) need for everyone else, instead of being that person for myself FIRST
I’ve told women for years….. do NOT internalize another person’s issues. What THEY do, they do because they want to or wanted to. Has NOTHING to do with you. Adults can use their words. If a person is unhappy in a relationship they should tell the other person how they feel. Never an excuse to cheat. Talk to your partner! Many times people just want to have their cake and eat it too. Then blame the other person for why they chose to go outside of the relationship. Don’t allow that. Don’t accept that. Their problems have nothing to do with you. 9 times out of 10 they have a history of being unfaithful. Never internalize someone else’s issue to be yours.

I didn’t agree with my parents saying you shouldn’t live together if you’re dating. I’ve done it before in my last relationship. Now I’ve gotten to the point of changing my mind and not doing that anymore. I feel like I need to at least be engaged to a person before we start living together!

Great points! I’ve learned you must know your deal breakers or you’ll just be lost. Also strengthening my judge of character, talk to a man long enough to really understand what he’s looking for (cuz they tell on themselves) the fluff goes away after a while 😅. If it doesn’t work, move on QUICK!

This video was meant for me. I was doing all those things, and gave too much of myself to the wrong person for years and now I have two children that I love to death that I’m raising alone. I have been single now going on 3 years. Last month has been the first time in 3 years I’ve gave a man some conversation and I still don’t think I’m ready to date again. I’ve been working on learning to love myself more. My confidence took a major hit these past few years but I’m determine to gain it all back plus more. I feel like I could have accomplished so much more if I would have listened to my parents and my mind instead of my heart.
