Chrissy i love watching people do their makeup pick out their outfits how they eat, shop, etc. I learn ideas from others but I think with social media people look to others to idol. Some idolize for ideas & some are just lost. We are really no different whatever your routine is or fits you as long as your living your best life (whether it’s cleaning the house that day or getting a massage for yourself) then your ‘that girl’ Again those are examples. I agree women are more likely to take care of others & neglect themselves completely. I know I experienced this after an abusive relationship- I quit doing things for myself, I quit getting dressed, showering daily, putting on makeup when I felt like it or even cleaning my home. You can tell a lot about how a person feels about themselves by the way they keep their home & carry themselves in public - I say this from my own personal experience. I see the good & bad in the ‘it girl’ trend others feeling less about themselves because they don’t do everything another person does. But it’s not about being another person it’s about being your best self because we all deserve to represent our best self in whatever that means to you as an individual.
Edit: I don’t think your nails are that bad, nobody who became great did it perfect the first time. Just like braiding hair, sewing, crochet, painting, etc practice makes perfect. If you didn’t like doing them girl head back to the nail shop, I do lol but I can appreciate your ambitious DYI self 😊

Try it, I 🤞🏾! I backed into a pole at the gas station in a rental a few years ago and this nice guy at the gas station did it for me. He had an old shirt in his trunk and sprayed a little gas on it and rubbed it on that scuff and it came right off! He saved my life🤣🤦🏾♀️ Them damn pole be in our way🤷🏾♀️😂
