I would like to see whiskers painted like the A-team van. I love when a plan comes together!
BRILLIANT!!!!
It will be awesome!
Yes!!! Someone would need to dress like Mr. T!
The red stripe on the side could be a stylized W for Whiskers lol
@Tom Steadman I vote Dinner as Mr. "D" 😆
Thanks for recovering my truck! I really can’t thank you enough for doing this for me! I’m glad there are people like you that help others. Keep on doing what you’re doing!!
Heck yeah. and Luis, you have a pretty sweet truck.
Thanks man! I really have enjoyed having it
@@electrontube glad you got his truck out. When we went up and got him and his wife out, we were curious how he was going to get it out
"That's thirteen, not ten." LOL, love it! You keep'em straight Boss!
Yes, please restore that 1967 Chevy short bed. I'm in favour of either restoring it faithfully to its original form or even modernising it and perhaps even converting it to a 4WD if that is even feasible. The restoration that I'm most looking forward to is that of Whiskers. For Whiskers, I also think you should add a Westabo (or similar) diesel heater and a separate 12v battery system set-up to it so that you have heat, lights and the ability to charge devices if you should ever get stranded on top of a mountain. Somewhere to stash emergency food and drink would be perhaps wise too.
That chevy truck looks like a solid start to a great project. Buy it! Great video guys.
I agree, its not a torn down rustbucket that needs lots of panels and so on. Im sold
Chevy at $2,500 tops
@@harveybauer4607 -1000$ to get it
@@harveybauer4607 that's be a sweet deal on that truck. Especially up my way (Maine) everything is a rust bucket up here in the Salt flats. So when one comes along that isn't all rotted out.. It goes for stupid money. Although I've never left the corner & have no idea 💡 what they go for elsewhere 🤷♂️
We had a 67 and a 68 on the farm. About 7 years ago a scrape metal dealer showed up and swindled my aged father into selling all the scrape. The wreaker smashed both C10’s an 80 sierra a 85 K5 blazer and 2 broncos. He offered $35/ton and didn’t even pay
An idea popped into my head for rescues like this. Years ago I was a commercial diver, one job was a Cessna 172 in a marsh. The guy ran out of fuel, saw what he thought was a grassy island and did an emergency landing. Turns out the island was a floating peat bog, it looked like a field but was like a waterbed. If I jumped you could see waves in the grass. I used a 6x6 Argo to take people and plywood out, flipped the plane back on its wheels. Now we had over a mile of cat tail swamp to cross. We used the hood from a 1950s dump truck as a toboggan. For a rescue like this it might make sense to have a folding sleigh or skis. For a car dragging it through deep snow would destroy the body.
They've got a Dodge hood for that.
why not design a rescue trailer specifically for snow? like a toboggan for a full size truck, that is easily towed behind whiskers .
Yup it's a great idea!!!
Great Idea 💡 & Epic recovery story! I can't even imagine how that was to deal with
a FUN rescue, for a change.
That Chevvy looks like someone else has done the bulk of the work, I'd grab it!
More Broncstar videos gonna be one badass rig.
The amount of work the Kitty has done this year Whiskers should be the MVP.
I'm not much of a Chevy guy but that's a bad a$$ truck
Yes the truck is a winner 🥇
Robbie, I have a 1970 long bed c-10 that was my grandmother's farm truck. It has less than 40,000 original miles on it. It's been sitting in a barn/garage since about 2000. I'm planning on trying to get it up and running this year. It's still got the original "m" green paint on it and is in pretty good condition. Will be fun to see it come back to life while you are bringing the 67 back to life.
He has bought it already guys, asking us if he should buy it. You need to do up Whiskers first show it some love.
Yes Robby, get the short bed chevy!! Would be great. And it’s YOUR dream truck, that’s a definite YES TO GET THE TRUCK!!
So when are we going to see an awesome paint job for Whiskers
He probably won't paint Wiskers till the winter tow season is over .🤔
Robby, I think you should go for it!! You do a lot for other, so I think it’s time to do your dream truck!! Can’t wait to see the start to finish product!! 🍻
Finish the charger, give whiskers the love it needs and then start your dream truck restoration!! Also, wish Dinner and the rest of you all the best on your health 2023 transformation!!
67 was a good year for chevy pickups! Great find!
That Chevy short box is begging for a Robby Layton revival! Buy it. I want the Charger when you are done with it. Great video as always- Cheers
Definitely would love to see the 67 Short bed rebuilt. My first truck was a 70-Chevy 1/2 ton.
The guys taking video from the snowmobiles did some amazing work! Great video! Peace. . .
Yes '67 Chevy Truck!
Boy you all work nonstop, all around the state.. it's an honor to watch
Looks like a good truck to do!
Personally, I prefer a step side. My brother had a 1968 Chevy step side. His son-in-law plans to restore it.
Nice recovery out of the snow drift!! The 67 is definitely a great truck to restore!!!
The look on HellBilly's face when you said "Healthy Snack" is priceless
What I wouldn't give to be a member of the slow rollers but cancer about to take me out and keeps me too broke to buy merch... Still love you guys and that's the PERFECT color choices; my personal favorite
It's what you guys do, and do well. Buy the Chevy. It will be a great series. Also looking forward to the latest Rokon build!
It's really cool to get to see how the rescuee gets stuck. I'm always curious about that.
Nice action video of Whiskers pulling the Tacoma through the deep snow.
Absolutely love your content and energy! So glad you didn't get sucked into the airplane painting line. Whiskers was a great addition to the family.
67 Chevy would make a great addition to your family and great job with the recovering and God bless from GA and stay safe
Definitely looking forward to what you do to that Chevy!!!
Of course you should get that Chevy. You and your crew have the perfect skillset to do justice to that classic.
Whiskers is the best thing ever. It should get a sweet Whiskers paint job and a folding tow sleigh for these deep snow rescues. I'd love to see what Robby and the team would come up for either of them.
That's my dad's dream truck as well. I've been looking for a short bed here in Florida to grab for him. I'd love to see what you guys would do with one.
check with Hamiltonville Farms for that bed
@@mabloodhound I love Hamiltonville farm. I'm actually located about 30 minutes from where they are at.
Very nice recovery there Robby and the gang. Can't wait to see more videos soon. Keep up the great craftsmanship and hard work my friends. Fab On. Weld On. Keep recovering. Keep Making. God Bless.
I think the Boss would look Pretty Cool driving that 67. I think you need to buy it for her. She works Hard, she deserves it.
I had my farther's 1970 C10 totally restored for my son. It took 2 years and turned out awesome. We added shoulder belts and air to it. Took it from Chevy green to bright red just like he wanted. He was thrilled to death, to get his grandfathers old truck, which had been setting in the field for 20 years.
Looks like you guys and gal have got Whiskers pretty dependable now great recovery vehicle it just needs some Paint Work Robby
Pretty sure this snowcat's already got more rescues under it's belt than Matt's.
Crazy what actual maintenance actually does as opposed to investing all the time into wrapping it...
-- Come spring, I'd love to see both you and Matt restore your snowcats project style on the channels. Both need some love. Think people would love to see a rebuild/beef-up series on them. And they need some love anyhow.
Thumbs up.
Glad you got the truck out! We thought that thing would be stuck there til the snow melted.
That truck restoration would be great. Ive watched all your restorations and would def watch that one! I hope you do it.
I love your snow rescues. Whiskers is awesome.
Whiskers is awesome 👏👏👏👏 great recoveries with it. ❄️❄️❄️❄️ PAY THE TRUCK...👍👍👍👍
Love the Chevy short bed. I vote yes!!
YES! The Answer Bobby is YES.
Robby you definitely should buy the truck that would be a fun series to watch doing that truck the right way.
I love the paint job on the truck it blends together well.
You guys were definitely having fun playing in the snow and the boss made sure to get the perfect camera shots as she always does
It would be great to see that beautiful old Chevy restored as long as it doesn't get slammed.
As the owner of a 68 chev k10 short bed 4x4 355ci 4 speed for almost 42 years now I say yes to the 67 C10 built.
The views yall had while recovering the truck looked amazing!
Whiskers is no joke. I love that rig
Cool video love snow cats!! can’t wait to get it rebuilt!! and painted blue!! Thanks for making that video.!!
You know, that Chevy would make an awesome "shop truck".... then Hillbilly would have to drive it too! haha
You seriously got to get that truck. One of my all-time favorites. My first vehicle was a 72 Chevy.
Yes, let’s restore this truck!
Grab that Chevy, you will not regret it. 🇺🇸
Awesome video thanks for sharing.
The reflection on the back window of the truck was tripping me out, it looked like you were driving backwards on the highway. 🤣
Definitely buy and please restore take us thru that amazing process 🙏
❤ Meow ... Whiskers is enjoying this weather 👍😎✊
If it's your dream truck then get it. You are uniquely qualified to give it the love it deserves, it would be good content and and another showpiece for your business.
Yes that would be awesome to see it restored
I think you and Matt should do a pull off with the snow cats.
You don't need anyone's thoughts other than the boss. If she's happy bring that beautiful American history home and let the world watch you make it 👌 Robby Layton style. Love the videos
I found myself busting out in laughter when the taco came to the abrupt stop with the sound effects! Sorry owner. It was funny though.
You NEED to get the truck!!! That is one of my favorite model year trucks, only second to the same generation K5!! Id love to see the restoration of that thing!!
If you want it buy it ! We’ll enjoy watching you restore for sure!
Robbie, you should try and figure out a way to make Whiskers cab to where it can turn a 360 while driving.
It looks like a great project truck.
Robbie you need this truck. Could be your next SEMA paint show vehicle 👍👍👍👍👍
The tacoma I had was terrible in the snow even with good tires. Thanks for sharing you adventures.
Go for it! I think that truck will be great!
That chevy would make a good series
Yep, go for the truck buy! 👍
I love hanging out with whiskers and the Gang
I owned a 1968 short bed step side. Loved it.
I need that 67-70 short bed. Get it. Fix it up. Give it to me.... LOL. Seriously, I'd love to watch that one get restored.
Looks like a nice old Chevy, it would be interesting to see what you make your dream truck into and a great series of videos to watch.
Most those trucks you find here has rusted away to almost nothing.
I bet you could take a trailer and make clip on skiis to put under the wheels to pull behind Whiskers and tow vehicles easier!
Love the 67. I had a longbed in the '80s and was my favorite pickup.
Sweet pickup! Get it for sure!
I had to sell my 57 Chevy when I went into the Army in 1970. Haven't had the time or money to get one again. Now, I'm 72 and can only smile when I see one on the road. You need the truck. If you can afford it, get it.
Yes 🙌🏽 my favorite truck! So much want!
Yes on getting the 67 chevy truck ! 👍🏻
Can't wait until you completely restore Whiskers with a new paint job. High vis would be great, but anything but the way it is.
Bring on the great 67! A classic ride.👌
Nice video . Thanks for sharing .
Just came over here from Heavy D’s channel. I’m diggin ya content. Pretty cool stuff.
Buy the 67, would make a good series to watch you build your dream truck.
Glad y'all are thinking healthier for yourselves! Would love to see y'all around for a long time.
It ain't easy startin off but it's well worth the good feelin you get out of it.
Proud of y'all for taking the initiative.
Definitely a beautiful truck. You should definitely restore it that would be amazing.
"Maverick" and "Healthy" snacks. that's a funny one. 😆
That is a very cool truck to renovate. GET IT !!!
There is some serious snow in SE Idaho this year. I spent last weekend in the Bear Lake valley and it is very impressive. Hopefully the Bear Lake will fill to capacity this year.
GET IT!!!!! It looks solid
YES you should buy it !!!
I had a ‘71 Chevy half ton when I was in college. Wish I still had it. So get that truck Robbie
