Thanks for watching, from all of us at Matt's off-road recovery! - Auta a dopravní prostředky
So, well... the second recovery of this video hit really close to home for my family and I. Rich, Jethro, and Bailey are dear to us. We moved to Utah in June of 22 not knowing what we were going to do. We lived around in the forests and public lands in our old trailer for months while i was working to find us a home. Which we have managed to find!!! 🙏
We were livin in the bush around Cedar and my dog Choop went missing. It was very emotional for us. He wasnt wearing a collar so it was up to him. We searched for 4 days. We were sitting in the RV eating dinner dreading his loss. The door was open and he jumpped inside! We all lost it! I started whaling like a baby.
First thing the next day we got him a new collar and tag. 2 days after we had him he was gone again. Now i was mad. It wasnt like him at all to do this.
We received a call from, you guessed it! Rich the bearded woodsman! Choop met Bailey the old hound dog and he was in love. Jethroe didnt seem too excited. We met up with them that afternoon and got to know eachother. Choop had even got in the red truck and gone to town with them. We were sadeded to take Choop from his new lady friend.
After we returned our boy back to camp I wanted to give Rich a gift for being so good to my buddy boy. I brought him 5 gallons of gas. Guy drives a Triton for petes sake. Figured he could use it. Seeing Matt pour a keg into that truck and watching him love up Bailey was honestly wild. IVE DONE THE SAME!
We are happy that Matt was able to help Rich God bless you guys, and if you guys read this novel, please pray for Rich and his dogs.
Thank you. That is all.
Matt actually wearing a jacket is hard to get used to.
Is Matt okay? That jacket is atypical.
also seeing him using a winch and walkie talkie and fuelling up.
Wrecker might be without heating and colder to sit in than the Morvair/Banana and therefore the jacket?
Yeah, is matt sick? Why the Jacket?
We all tend to get cold as we age. 🥶
One of the most Beautiful things about being rescued by Matt. He goes the extra mile to make sure the rescue damage to your vehicle is minimal.
The cloud shadows crawling over the hills at 16:29 just made my day. Hats off to the editors!
Matt gets mad props for always showing the dogs some love.
Matt's dog lover. Also, he has that dog in him.
Stop being so angry, give him great props and not be mad.
@@notnowsatan-pv6xp 😂
They are definitely living their best life. Happy dogs!
You got my comment. 😊
I love seeing Matt use the radios and the winch. It 's almost like old dogs do learn new tricks.....
Now if he'd only build some tire chains!
@@mikenorton62 Nobody in that area (including the tow trucks) know how to put on tire chains 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
@@mikenorton62 Chains are very situational tbh, they're really meant for *ice* not snow. If you're in deep deep snow, chains can make it harder. Especially if the top layer has melted and refrozen, chains will break through that layer and get you into the deep stuff, instead of just riding on top of it.
Almost like the real reason he didn’t like winches in the past was because he had to get them out of the back and then open the hood and wire them in every time he wanted to use them😂
Radios are essential for proper communication between vehicles in remote locations where cellular service isn't available.
Gotta give Lizzy props for climbing in vehicle's hanging over a ledge. And Matt's always got time for his 4 legged customers. 😂😊😊
Shouldn't she opt for the seat belt in the event of rollover?
@@clintpatty She never wears one. Physics will teach her, one day.
@EatDrinkBeMerry they’ve said before in videos that in some instances a seatbelt wont matter if you begin to flip.
🤣 when Matt said, "I wanna see an unnecessary front dig." !!!
Three days being stuck out there and I bet he was real happy to see you guys.
That was a charity gas run. Matt was just nice enough to pretend like the vehicle was stuck and play along and get some content.
@@jimyeats Did you even watch the video? No way could this truck get out of there without assistance 😂
@@saiverx The red Ford 4x4 with reasonable off road tires sitting on top of a patch of snow with a gentle climb ahead of it (even accounting for camera flattening)? Maybe he couldn’t….
@@jimyeats We don't know for sure of course, maybe you're right, he could've driven off. I was judging from the sun heating up the snow, I'd imagine its like driving in slush 🤷♂
@@jimyeats sure looked to me like it could have driven out of there no troubles at all. Three days stuck in there seems crazy. Drop tire pressure, shovel a tiny bit of snow by hand, drive out.
Lizzy again gets an A+ in being best dressed for snow recovery! Heavy Wrecker is awesome. To create such a beast from scratch with really minimal debugging for a massive project is testament to good old fashioned ingenuity and hard work. Thank You for excellent entertainment. Peace!
I 2nd that!! ✌🐢
I laughed when I saw Lizzy wearing snow gear while Matt wore his usual jeans and short sleeve shirt.
It was nice seeing the heavy wrecker being put to work. It was also really nice seeing the wrecker helping such a kind and humble older man. His pups were so sweet. There is very few options for rescue in places that isolated. MORR was a blessing for that gentleman.
Let’s Talk 👍
Thanks for watching
Matt, Tom Tom and Lizzie are the masters of sand, mud and snow recoveries. Rory excels in rockscapades, but Matt is the champs hands down for being low on gasoline.
The heavy wrecker is just plain badass. There are no other words for it. Looking forward to seeing more of it on your channel.
Imagine not knowing who Matt is, you just called a guy for offroad recovery, and he shows up in that beast. You'd know you're in Good hands
Matt's narration and explanations are excellent and the video cuts and product is outstanding. Good job everyone making the channel better all the time.
Glad to see this went smooth and easy.
As always, customer happy and everyone was safe.
Thank you MORR!
Good MORRning everybody~ Thumbs UP to Matt and crew! 👍👀
Thank you for telling us about the Arizona Strip. I thought it was a road. Never could find it on the map.
It's cool how grateful the customers always seem to be.
I've watched Matt laugh for so long now I know when he's 'really' laughing and when he fakes it. This was more real laughs than usual. Genuine stuff.
As someone who has spent a lot of time traveling around the southwest, I've stayed on the Arizona Strip several times, so I really appreciate this video.
I love you guys ❤!!!
Damn time travellers and their flux capacitors...
Drove through it going from the North Rim to St. George. Empty. (Well, Pipe Springs was along the way, but other than that...)
@@Backroad_Junkie Take a trip to Bundyville then you'll really see empty. Highway 59 isn't exactly empty by Strip standards
@@devion195 Empty are the interior roads of Nevada. Took NV-376 from US-6 to US-50 for a hundred miles, passed one car and one town, lol.
As many of the empty roads I've driven in Utah, Arizona and Montana, Nevada beats them all. 😁
@@Backroad_Junkie Yeah, there is not much to see on the 389, unless you venture off of it.
I got a good chuckle when Tom Tom was trying to bump the mud out of his ear😂
Always good to see Lizzy so happy! Y'all are special!
Thank you for pulling out the maps! I just learned something about your areas that I would have never knew if you hadn't showed it and I love to know these 'local knowledge information' Again, very happy to see and hear those things 👌👌
Great job on the editing of the video! Love how you told the story with the extra animations! Well done!
I just have to say that Heavy Wrecker is fricken AWESOME!
This episode must be one of my favourites, it was so much fun to watch , and I'm a grandmother from Australia 😅
Hello my name is PJ, I'm a grandmother from Missouri. We grandmother's like a little excitement now and then too.
Read my comment i have a story obot the man and the dogs in the second half. Its a goodn.
I really think Tom Tom adds so much to the channel.
Matt (a few weeks ago): "I wouldn't say I'm dog person."
Also Matt: talking to and petting every dog he sees.
Just an FYI, Matt: being a dog person doesn't mean being a werewolf (or weredog).
Lizzy is like me before I get my morning coffee LOL.
The Wrecker made that look way too easy...
Tell Tom to wash that ear out good LOL.
Thank you MORR Team. Nice to see the heavy wrecker doing heavy wrecker things. Keep the awesome video's coming!
I have yet to put the time aside to watch the MORR presentation of the Wrecker Games, but... to see the WLORW in action makes me smile. Can't stop smiling when I see it rolling, knowning everything it took to get it built, tested, developed, tested some more... what a neat rig. Another great vid, too. Thanks as always.
Matt... I'm a Utah boy, living in Kentucky. Watching your videos makes me a little homesick. Love you guys!
The low-key shame on the customers face on the intro almost made me spit out my coffee in laughter
40 years running in the Colorado back country and never forgot a set of chains, only got stuck once and the winch got us out. Lizard head, cottonwood pass, Craig, Steamboat, Flat tops, Cline tops, Montrose, Telluride 5 feet of snow and I always take a coat!!!!
BB Pass oh yeah! and for what's its worth I have never seen the scenery from the top of Engineer Peak, all I have ever seen is rain and snow!
Nice jobs all the way around. I was wondering about the Sentra in the mud, however! But the Banana & the Morrvair got the job done. Well done everyone.
Milestar Tires seriously owes you a million dollars! I just ordered my second set for my Tacoma S.A.Swap, 38s , you're the biggest spokesman they have and because of you Matt I guarantee thousands, maybe Millions of Milestar Patagonias were sold, and after owning so many different tires from Swampers to Mickeys to BFGs etc, I gotta say I'm very satisfied with my Patagonias! 😊 Great Price, well made and designed, decent on road manners and pretty darn good offroad, and if I never seen you running them, I would have never bought them! Can't wait for my 38x13.5x17s to get here! Rims came today! So thanks for the recommendation
Why do I feel that Matt loves doing rescues more than anything in life?
Look at where his office is!
He loves playing with his toys
You’re right. Views are not too shabby
I'm sure he enjoyed derbying too.
It's a beautiful area. Every chance I got which was one day out of the week I spent exploring the area.
Love the new 4K footage and all the fancy graphics and maps! 🙂
I really liked the customer in the last recovery with the two dogs (Rudy, I think he said his name was). He seemed genuinely humbled by being helped by Matt and Tom-Tom, as though he was a very independent soul getting by on his own living a hard scrabble life out there in a VERY RURAL part of America--very different from the usual customer out playing around in a 4x4 toy in their leisure time. From what I perceive of Matt through these videos, I bet he was honored to have the opportunity to lend him a hand.
Thank you, it’s great to see the wrecker in service now.
that wrecker sure makes it easier to retrieve vehicles out of the snow
Yeah, they will only need the Bombi in the worst of snow conditions from now on
Getting it done with the wrong tools or equipment is how stuff gets done!!!!👍👍👍
Recovery on the mountain side in the snow. This is good TV, watching I like it!
Hi Jim how are you doing. I hope your day was good. I’m Maria from Minnesota. 😊
Good call by the Taco driver stopping when he did. She almost went for the big slide you never drive away from!.
Matt put a jacket on? ? ? Must have been absolutely freezing lol
That thing is a monster. I can't wait to see it do some hard jobs
Tom is down to basics with PB&J ! Outstanding !
never ceases to amaze how they start in the desert and finish in snow!, t shirts and thermals😊
Hi how are you doing. I hope your day was good. I’m Maria from Minnesota. 😊
You guys make me wanna start a shop here in ID! There's only 2 guys like you that service the mountains round here.
What part of Idaho?
@@BB-yj2rb Treasure Valley area, but specifically going up towards the Boise and West mountains. When I got stuck, there were only 2 companies willing to do things like Matt does.
Shout out to the editor. Nice job on the graphics and animation!
Both recoveries were relatively easy peasy, and got to use the WLOR Wrecker. Good video coverage too.
So awesome to see how the wrecker is being such an asset to y'all. All 3 offroaders seem to really be living up to expectations.
Let’s Talk 👍
Thanks for watching^^
Its a lot of work to hand build all your rigs but they definitely are purpose built machines, designed by the guys who know the terrain and how to use them
Nice to see you guys using radios!😊📡👍
Hi Jeff how are you doing. I hope your day was good. I’m Maria from Minnesota. 😊
I think viewers that rarely get out should recognize this guy was not dug in or in a bad spot. I say this to bring light to how easy it is to get stuck in the middle of nowhere. It’s so awesome knowing people will come get you. Thirty five years ago, that was not the case.
Especially long wheelbase trucks.
That's why you have a winch, recovery boards and shovel. With those that's no thing.
35 + years ago I carried a shovel every where I went.
Nice comment! But 35yrs ago me and my dad were coming home from wheeling and under a bridge with a river i saw a truck in the river with two guys there, i said we should help them so we pulled over put truck in 4 lo and went down into the river bed those guys spent 3 nights there after being soaked, happy we saw them, we winched the truck out of the river made sure the truck started and got to the road. we allways help out when we can. Its the Canadian way.
@@Coolhansolo All these people going off paved roads in snow without chains seems reckless. I'm pretty sure the tow costs more than a set of chains.
We love our Lizzie! Please make her use a seatbelt on the sketchy stuff!
Regarding filling the gas can...
You did it right!!!
you took the can out of the bed of the truck and grounded it.
Plastic bed liners create static electricity, filling that can in the bed of the truck is extremely dangerous with a plastic bed liner..
Passing that information on on your platform might save a life one day. Good job, really enjoy watching your channel.

Thanks for watching^^
Love the time-lapse view of the scenery along the way! Please always include that!
Great use of a map. Really helpful in understanding the area of recovery.
Thanks, Editors for the map and graphics for the Arizona Strip explanation. 😊
It is sooo good 👍 to see the wrecker recovering after all the hard work you guys put in to it. Great job 👌 guys.
I love watching these. You guys make it look so easy! Sometimes I kinda wish you guys had more difficult jobs to show off...I mean, I'm gonna watch em either way
Its funny, because a lot of their jobs used to be harder when all they had was the lightly modified Bannana. The same jobs now would be much easier with their upgraded fleet of vehicles.
@@wescollins7331 That's probably why the fleet got upgraded.
You should call the world's largest off road wrecker. "THE MEGA"
I know it’s what enables Matt and his crew to live their dream, but I still marvel at what possesses people to go 4 wheeling that far into the “Back-of-Beyond,” in really dicey weather……as my uncle always said: “Do what you can afford!”
Four Wheel Drive allows you to get stuck in more remote places.
@@azmax623
A winch gets you stuck in in-accessible places
A GPS let's you know where your exactly at when you get lost
I don't know how many times I see you with a jacket, even on snow conditions.
Great video.
Blessings guys
Hi how are you doing. I hope your day was good. I’m Maria from Minnesota. 😊
Awesome, you guys, do a wonderful job in whatever you do.
What a team!
Great job Matt & Tom-Tom and the rest of the crew , always enjoy the ride along on the recovery's . keep them coming.♥♥♥.
Thanks for explaining Arizona strip. And thanks to videographers for showing the road ahead.
Love seeing that you are still having fun doing what you do!
Subscribers are almost 1.5m! Couldn't happen to nicer people.
I have followed you guys for about 8 months now. For the last 2 days I’ve been binge watching all your recoveries from the last year. Great way to spend your retirement days!!! Thanks for all the great videos Matt and all the others on this great channel
I can remember when this wrecker was just a pair of axles! Thanks for sharing
When you think of that and those lengths of C section steel laying around, it is truly remarkable.
Ross, Rachel, Chandler, etc, none have a winch 😂. Shout out to great editing 👍
Thank you Matt and Crew!!
It is always reassuring to see Matt and a gas pump in frame together.
Love the rear steer ability of the wrecker!!! So handy and cool!
You keep bringing your Videos to the next level! GREAT stuff!!!
This channel just seems to get better each time I watch it.
Tom reminded me of Kramer trying to get water out of his ear!🤣
The buddies infographic made me lol. THANKS BUDDIES!!
Your videos are always uplifting...few companies have the dedicated staff and personnel that you have...:)
Great recoveries and beautiful scenery!
...Still have & use my Yankum kinetic Rope that I purchased way back when you first started pumping out vids. The rope along with the soft shackle has been invaluable! The ability to pull out a bigger vehicle utilizing the kinetic energy is impressive!
17:48 TOM!! C'mon, that can't be 29 degrees... Oh...2degrees? That's better!😅 Enjoying the extra maps and descriptions of where you're going, very enjoyable!
Both of these recoveries show the value of knowing when to say when and go get help. The Tacoma in particular could have kept working at it and ended up with a much more difficult recovery and probable damage.
Absolutely. It was the right call to just stop and call for help. At that point the recovery isn't getting any cheaper and the damage isn't getting any less significant. Better off to swallow your pride and let it be an easy job to get you out 😅
@@Beandiptheredneck Yep. I've been on both ends of that tow strap... ;-)
Good stuff. I know it takes a lot to go way out to do that stuff. You guys always stay positive.

"Just don't be cold." Cool seeing all the rigs in one video!!
Happy Friday!
Hey Matt, how about a Wrecker Olympics after action report? What did you break? What, if anything would you change? What exceeded your expectations?
The more of Tom’s smarts I see, the more I appreciate him/his contributions to your videos, Matt!
He is a big KEEPER !
The "Friends" input was awesome!
Awesome recoveries!
On fueling Jerry's, gas cans etc. always have a hand on the container before putting the nozzle in. It grounds it helping prevent the nozzle being a point of static contact.
The nozzles are grounded.
It's extremely rare for static to light petrol.
How many times has it happened to you or anyone you know?
@@bushratbeachbum statistics mean nothing to the individual.

@Bushrat Beachbum your body caries static electricity. And its just a safety precaution. Do as you wish.
I usually touch the car before I put the nozzle in, that works too right?
Kudos to Tom for using biodegradable ear plugs! 😉
Nice to see the big wrecker in action again. I would take it to every job😊
