I am not a fan of Minal khan but why is there so much negativity around? Aamna, India does have the concept of valima. Infact we also have four functions it's just given different names
It's
1.manje (Mayoun)
2. Sanchak (Mehendi)
3. Nikah
4. Valima
In India, where I live which is Hyderabad on Valimas, brides generally wear dark greens and purples. Apart from that it depends on the brides own choice.
On the nikah day we wear this traditional dress called khada dupatta which is 99% times red in colour for the brides

The show is " juda huye kuch iss tarah" . The clip is actually of no significance as the whole razai bhai behn vala mudda is a part of conspiracy... It's a fake thing brought up by antagonist to seperate the hero heroine... Only if you see whole show from day 1 , the makers made sure to let you know in the initial episodes only, that maha ( dure's character) and Asad as children were made to sleep in different rooms. This is now just a part of plot to seperate them.
By the way the show is super amazing... In terms of plot,in terms of portrayal of characters.. perfectly written characters.... Perfect portrayal of a father, a step mom, her challenges and a visibly flawed male lead ... So a really good watch, as compared to ishq hai and worth the time also.

Why is it necessary to discuss someone's wedding? You should have given more importance to the controversial topic of "razai bhai behan", people are criticizing unnecessarily without knowing the context of it. I was expecting you would do research and will tell them the background story of that drama.
They are not razai bhai behan, the woman was planted by her Chachi so that she could marry her son. In the climax, we will see the woman will confess that she was lying about "razai bhai behan" .

I dont understand what is the need to criticize someone else's wedding outfit. It is their wedding and they choose whatever they liked. It is their big day and they seem to be happy. You guys didn't even leave her mehndi design🙄.They don't need to impress others on their wedding day. They just need to be happy which they were. Can we stop judging for once. I can only talk on Met Gala, out of all the looks the one that stood out was Kendall Jenner. Her dress was according to the theme. The skin colour sheer gown over the same coloured bodess, was really gorgeous.
All the celebrities or influencers wore whatever they got their hands on. The theme was "Fashion in America", meanwhile most of them wore were by European brands or designers which did not make sense at at all.
The designer or fashion house is chosen FOR the celebrity. However, i do agree with the fact that most celebs failed to follow the theme.
Gigi Hadid was also kinda out standing

I don't like that most Pakistanis consider Indians to be homogenous. Why would you think there is no concept of Valima in India if India has a larger population of Muslims?
Brighter colours are preferred for valima in India as most people feel brides need not be dressed in pale colours, which I disagree with.

Cutest thing was minal including amal everywhere like a true khala! It was just true love. She was not conscious about those pictures while cutting cake or worried about the spot light etc. It was so pure!

I am an old consistent viewer but Sorry to say i didn't liked this haute bite. Chould have done on the spot or something else than this. Came to know only that drama controversy and you didn't talked about that. I read somewhere that AOC was there because political leaders are often invited to the MET Gala because it is an important institute of the country. Also the dress she wear was not a designer dress or something expensive but a thrift store thing. Sorry Aamna! I disagree with you regarding the mehndi! That completes the traditional dulhan look- Mehndi is a staple part of the dulhan attire - some chose not to wear it which is fine - I found her bridal to be super busy - liked her more on the Valima though
Amna if you are sad because Ishq hai has ended and you don't have a guilty pleasure to watch anymore I would highly recommend new Geo drama "Mohabbat Dagh Ki Soorat" starring Neelam Munir and Sami Khan , just 3 episodes gone and it has all the guilty pleasure spices from Sami playing a college student , to Neelam crying wearing full makeup, fake lashes and wig !

The dur e fishan drama is called juda huay kuch iss Tarah and comes mon-fri on hum. I find rhe story is a good humsafar fanfic. Like if there was more communication between characters in humsafar and the first half was more fleshed out instead of being snippets of ashar/khirad's relationship

Plus on that foster sibling hype. The main leads are not foster sibling at all. This is a fake reason created by heroine's taye. Hum have deliberately made that teaser to gain attention to this new drama. They have been successful with their negative marketing tactics. But it is highly insensitive of them to do this.
They could have added the part in the teaser where the taye is plotting against the couple and bribe the lady to give this fake confeession only if they wanted to not convey a wrong message to the audience. But they wanted the reach which they got after that teaser.
Kindly use your platform if possible to clear the misinterpretation as it will create a negative impact in the society if it is not addressed by any platform.
Ps: They should have used some other reasons of plotting against the couple in the script.

About that controversy in the drama, the drama is named Judaa huy kuch iss tarah. It airs Mon to Thurs at 9 pm. I don't watch it but my mother does so I know what's going on in it. The lead characters, Maha and Asad are cousins and they get nikahfied when caught in a complete Humsafar type situation. However, Maha has another cousin, Faizan, who is crazy for her and tries everything he can to stop the rukhsati and break the nikah but fails. Now, his parents are trying to fulfill his wish using different schemes. Now, Faizan's mother has given money to a woman (probably the househelp at Maha's father's home) to tell everyone the lie that Maha's mother fed Asad while he was an infant which makes them Razai siblings and as per the Islamic law, Razai siblings can't get married so this marriage is nullified. On the other hand, Maha is pregnant. I haven't come across any controversy regarding the drama so I've no idea what ppl are complaining about. It could have been offensive if it was shown as a truth and not a lie, but since it's not, why the issue?

The looks of last Met gala were the craziest I've ever seen. This year's seem better to me, they made sense, last year's were alien-like. I liked Lili Reinhart's look in both, just saw it while scrolling through fb feed. And that KK's dress, it's got many hilarious memes specially the ones showing her as a dementor from Harry Potter series. The funniest memes were the one where her photos from different angles were Photoshopped as dementors flying around Hogwarts and the other one where Kanye west was casting the patronus charm at her. 😂😂😂 Comments under those memes were funny, too. Someone commented that at least she's completely clothed this time. 😄

Bhyi drama naam hi misunderstandings aur confusion ka naam hai! Baaqi KRQ nay likha hai to daikhnay ki zehmat na hi karain!
