a long long time ago when I was first learning tarot, I watched a video by Mark passio and he was talking about the fool. I think I fell asleep while listening to him and the first word that came to me in my dream was innocence. I found in my dream the meaning of Innocence in the blue card and now when you mentioned that it starts off with innocence I was like wow! Amazing how that happens. I have just made a video where I talk about the major Arcana and the astrological associations of the cards and your video really reminded me of what I just finished doing! keep up the good work. always great listening to you. many blessings!

The "Living the tarot" series is perhaps the most spiritually significant videos I've ever seen. Oh my god Elle. I am at a loss for words. I started with tarot just to shut up a never ending feeling I had to get a tarot deck, and I've never really cared much for tarot. Nor did I care for divination, but when I got them, the esoteric and occult parts of the cards really sparked my interest, and I started to investigate these sides of the cards. I had NO idea what impact it would have on me, or the understanding it would bring me to (In a pretty short amount of time). Inevitably it also gave me a kick in the butt to start developing my intuition and start doing divination. The journey you have laid out in these videos is probably the peak realization for me at this point. I cant wait to study this in detail, and hopefully it will help me with understanding alchemy too. I can't express my gratitude for these videos in words, so I'm simply gonna send a crap ton of love your way :)

I came to tarot in like the same exact way- I wasn't necessarily interested in divination at 1st- it was all about the concepts and spirituality at 1st for me too! I love what it all sort of evolved into and how we can actually use the cards too, and I love using the "initiatory" story in readings- it's all so fun and enlightening! I definitely felt alone in how I looked at tarot for a really long time too- I'd totally do the same thing- every time I read another tarot book that regurgitated the same things over and over aaarrrr, eventually I discovered more interesting things but it was still up to me to connect the dots. You have no idea how much your awesomeness is keeping me connected with Tarot. You show me that the layers are not only infinite but are also the directions it will carry you. Thank you, my dear, for all that you teach:-) For decades, the Heirophant meant just The Church, The Rules, Behavior in Society that demands conforming and lately, The Government - but now, I see it as the continued unification of the two selves, both spiritually and materially. I used to HATE this card (hate rules and confinement). Now I have expanded my use and interpretation for The Heirophant. Your videos are definitely an ADVENTURE.

Thanks for this great video, this is what I've been looking for on CZcams for a long time. You have opened a few more doors for me, to understand the higher self, and love the way you put the first few cards together. When I first started to read tarot, I saw bits and pieces of this of what you have been talking bout, but couldn't put together, like you have just done. Looking forward to hearing more of this. yes yes! I did the same things- I could see bits and pieces of this process at 1st-had to go on the hunt big time for more detailed explanations. there's a wealth of knowledge and info out there about the more practical divinatory meanings but it's hard to find the more esoteric stuff. and don't u just love the esoteric stuff!?! That the whole mystery school initiation is in the tarot just blows my mind! love it. thanks so much for watching :)
+Sacred Seed , check out this book, Meditations on the Tarot, ISBN: 9781585421619 , it talks on Hermeticism, Esoteric, and it uses the Oswald Wirth tarot, in the whole of the book. It is a very deep book and takes time to read, you can be on a page for a long time ,and go back on what you have just read , to understand what you are now reading, and it really made me really think.its over 665 pages long. It can be found on eBay and Amazon, but then again you may already have it. Got it for £13. All the best.

Very interesting. I enjoy hearing different methods of explanation of the tarot. I don't know or understand a lot of the esoteric "stuff" (for lack of better word) yet. I look at tarot interpretation very psychologically, love the different take on things. :)

So I checked what a 'bateleur' is in French, and it turns out: it's actually a stage magician! In the Marseilles deck it depicts a street performer. Compare for instance a renaissance painting by Hieronymus Bosch: 'De goochelaar'. Same thing: a street entertainer with a hat and a wand, a table and some stage props (here, a crowd is present though).
If you want to lend a spiritual meaning to that, one might take it to mean: as a 'magician' (= conjurer of tricks), you're still playing around, it's all surface and gimmick, you're doing it for show (maybe to show off to the people in your mental repository), but hey: you're learning your craft, you're learning to control what's in front of you, and maybe you're getting some insight into how easily people are manipulated, i.e. human psychology.
