Yes! Thank you! I'm sure this will be such a huge help for people that are trying to delve into this deck and get the full experience. I quickly realized that I had to throw out almost everything I knew (Rider Waite) and look with fresh eyes with The Mary El. I've seen a lot of people try to squeeze this deck into the Rider Waite or Thoth system and it does such a disservice to this decks depth and potential. I could to see that it was highly spiritual, and set upon a foundation of Numerology and Elemental aspects but had no idea it was similar to Marseille, now I'm more interested in learning more about Marseille because I love how The Mary El is set up. This video is great, I love that you made this because The Mary El has such a wealth of wisdom to offer once it's seen for its unique essence, this video just made me fall in love with it even more ;)

I love you for this video. You've explained the cards in a way that most tarot readers can't. Not everyone can see the true relation of the cards to the self. They literally layout the path to spiritual enlightenment! I will never look at the cards the same again. I just started to realize this after studying thoth cards and the quabalah.

Wow I'm late on this party train by I just got into tarot recently and I've been drawn to the Mary El. Everytime I watched a video there it was and I was pulled to it but never thought I wanted it. Same! Nearly every video for the last few months kept showing or referencing Mary El and I was not looking for it. I love what she says in the V hierophant, that all the 5 is in the middle of 0-10 and farthest away from the divine origin in the aces and divine destination in the 10’s ❤️ I see why that is the most challenging place to be, but so powerful. Suffering often plays a large part in this journey we are on…. That for me is the 5s. Challenging and sometimes painful, but that’s a big part of the whole in our spiritual awakening ❤ I love these videos ❤️ have seen it over and over 😊

This was a huge help, thank you. When you talked about the phallic reference in the 6 of Wands and showed the RWS version of it, I recognized a similar one. The wreath at the end of the wand the rider is carrying reminded me of the maypole symbolism on Beltane, the unity between male and female, the Great Rite of the Goddess and the God. I would love to hear you talking about the other two suits as well as the Majors perhaps. But I'm already thankful for this video, cause it shed some new light at my Mary El studies. Many Blessings

This is really helpful. I'm going to be getting this deck soon and it's brilliant to have a booster in understanding it. You are always very knowledgeable and helpful! Usually you just get unboxing videos and people showing the cards, which is great, but I find more often than not your videos (even in unboxing situations) go much further. You obviously understand tarot very deeply, your videos are a treat! It would be amazing if you eventually covered the other suits.

criminy! More brilliance! Where did you come from??? I'm reading Jodorowsky and getting some newbie understanding of the Marseille at the moment - and your video here is a revelation. LOVED the idea of bisecting energies with the swords and wands - the rising of kundalini at the same time that the swords are articulating the death of ego... My reconciliation of the 9 of Swords in the RWS with all of this comes through the ways in which the ego, its suffering, is itself the dharma gate of enlightenment. The 9 in RWS may not be about our attachments so much as about that dark night of the soul which - if we bravely and willingly encounter it, sit with and through it - is itself the release from attachments... In other words: another opening like the hollow between the two trees depicted in Mary-El's 2 of Wands... - maybe?

The five of swords is one of my favourite cards in this deck. I wanted to hear you speak about the baby and about the holding of someone's hand that is depicted on this card. This deck invites endless study for me.

This was very helpful. I'm a tarot newbie and I'm working on learning R/W/S as well as Marseilles. Using numerology to crack Mary-el was awesome. Being new and still learning, I know I'm a while before I can use Mary-El other than intuitively looking at the cards, much like I would Soul Cards. Anyhow, this video helps put together a lot of pieces of the various things I've been studying. I'd love to see the same thing with Cups and Coins! Loving your channel so far! Nice job!

Thanks, also, please go into more detail why you think this deck follows Marseilles deck? I see much darkness, depth in this deck, that is not in any other deck? myself as not student of any the 3 schools of Tarot, have least understanding of Marseilles deck. I have only briefly looked through a friend's Marseilles deck and felt the art work is beautiful but lacks darkness that i see and love with Mary El deck. Mary El Deck is strong yang type deck, not for faint of heart. I rarely pull it out to share with others. But find it esp. helpful for when a person is doing deep shadow work. archetypal level. Intense is a word I would use with this deck. Esp. healing for people who were harmed by "the church".
I read the swords twofold, based on this Jodorowskian approach and RWS simply as most people don't care for enlightenment, so it is just plain hurtful in everyday situations of the average joe whose goal is not to kill their ego. Kind of like how I approach the Fool.
Excuse me, but the Eagle/Scorpio is a water sign, yet it is being used as an air sign???? Athena and her owls, what is the symbol upon her sternum? Why the baby? What symbol is upon St. Mikey's forehead? The seven of swords, which green gem is that Raven stealing??? The gate on the eight of swords can never be opened as Mary drew them. That is why the 9 of swords is described as one who should be entering a convent (male/female). Beyond excellent teachings.
I think each card has its element, and then each card has its own element. Maybe the aces are watery? The symbol on Michael's head is his sigil. I'll have to look at my deck agasiby, hut I think there is no lock on the 8swords gate.
Sry, what I said about the elements was confusing lol. Like the queens are water, but each queen has her own element according to her suit. I wonder if all the aces are water.

This was a huge help, thank you. When you talked about the phallic reference in the 6 of Wands and showed the RWS version of it, I recognized a similar one. The wreath at the end of the wand the rider is carrying reminded me of the maypole symbolism on Beltane, the unity between male and female, the Great Rite of the Goddess and the God. I would love to hear you talking about the other two suits as well as the Majors perhaps. But I'm already thankful for this video, cause it shed some new light at my Mary El studies. Many Blessings

This is really helpful. I'm going to be getting this deck soon and it's brilliant to have a booster in understanding it. You are always very knowledgeable and helpful! Usually you just get unboxing videos and people showing the cards, which is great, but I find more often than not your videos (even in unboxing situations) go much further. You obviously understand tarot very deeply, your videos are a treat! It would be amazing if you eventually covered the other suits.

I've mainly held off buying this deck because .. Ugh.. GLOSSY CARDSTOCK! And with this particular deck, metaphorically, it's as if the publishers are 'Glossing Over' its depths.

criminy! More brilliance! Where did you come from??? I'm reading Jodorowsky and getting some newbie understanding of the Marseille at the moment - and your video here is a revelation. LOVED the idea of bisecting energies with the swords and wands - the rising of kundalini at the same time that the swords are articulating the death of ego... My reconciliation of the 9 of Swords in the RWS with all of this comes through the ways in which the ego, its suffering, is itself the dharma gate of enlightenment. The 9 in RWS may not be about our attachments so much as about that dark night of the soul which - if we bravely and willingly encounter it, sit with and through it - is itself the release from attachments... In other words: another opening like the hollow between the two trees depicted in Mary-El's 2 of Wands... - maybe?

This was very helpful. I'm a tarot newbie and I'm working on learning R/W/S as well as Marseilles. Using numerology to crack Mary-el was awesome. Being new and still learning, I know I'm a while before I can use Mary-El other than intuitively looking at the cards, much like I would Soul Cards. Anyhow, this video helps put together a lot of pieces of the various things I've been studying. I'd love to see the same thing with Cups and Coins! Loving your channel so far! Nice job!

Thanks, also, please go into more detail why you think this deck follows Marseilles deck? I see much darkness, depth in this deck, that is not in any other deck? myself as not student of any the 3 schools of Tarot, have least understanding of Marseilles deck. I have only briefly looked through a friend's Marseilles deck and felt the art work is beautiful but lacks darkness that i see and love with Mary El deck. Mary El Deck is strong yang type deck, not for faint of heart. I rarely pull it out to share with others. But find it esp. helpful for when a person is doing deep shadow work. archetypal level. Intense is a word I would use with this deck. Esp. healing for people who were harmed by "the church".

I read the swords twofold, based on this Jodorowskian approach and RWS simply as most people don't care for enlightenment, so it is just plain hurtful in everyday situations of the average joe whose goal is not to kill their ego. Kind of like how I approach the Fool.

Excuse me, but the Eagle/Scorpio is a water sign, yet it is being used as an air sign???? Athena and her owls, what is the symbol upon her sternum? Why the baby? What symbol is upon St. Mikey's forehead? The seven of swords, which green gem is that Raven stealing??? The gate on the eight of swords can never be opened as Mary drew them. That is why the 9 of swords is described as one who should be entering a convent (male/female).

I think each card has its element, and then each card has its own element. Maybe the aces are watery? The symbol on Michael's head is his sigil. I'll have to look at my deck agasiby, hut I think there is no lock on the 8swords gate.
Sry, what I said about the elements was confusing lol. Like the queens are water, but each queen has her own element according to her suit. I wonder if all the aces are water.
