We've done some hard Pokemon challenges in the past, but usually they were a solo or monotype Pokemon challenge run. What if we still did a really difficult challenge... but using hardcore nuzlocke rules, and with only a Pokemon character's best team? Today we find out: can Brock's Best Team Beat a hardcore nuzlocke of Pokemon Omega Ruby!?

Character Best Team Hardcore Nuzlocke Ruleset:
(1) If a Pokémon faints, it must be permanently boxed or released.
(2) Only one encounter per badge obtained.
(3) No Legendaries/Mythicals, duplicates, or same-evolution-line Pokémon can be caught or used. If a duplicate is encountered, the next unique type-specific Pokémon encounter can be caught.
(4) Additional Pokémon may be caught for the purpose of HM use, but these may not be used in battle at any time during the run.
(5) No Items can be used in battle (Held Items are allowed).
(6) Party Pokémon levels are limited to the highest level Pokémon of the next Gym Leader or Elite 4 Member. So long as your Pokémon are at or below the level cap when the Gym Leader/Elite 4 Member battle starts, they can level up mid-battle.
(7) "Set" Battle Mode must be used at all times.
(8) No connecting with other games for the purposes of importing Pokémon, Items, etc.

As someone who LOVED the Best teams, i was disappointed when you stopped doing them, even though i did grow to absolutely love the nuzlockes and understood why you stopped. The nuzlocks became a Sunday regular for me to watch them! But that love for True Power only left me even more excited for this huge announcement!!! This. Will. Be. Legendary!! Thank you so much for bringing this back in the form it is in!! Yes, i would LOVE some true power based nuzlockes and i am VERY hyped for this tournament!! Keep up the good work Silph!! That means a ton my friend, it's amazing hearing just how much the True Power series meant to people. I got stuck waiting for BDSP to come out leading into the Sinnoh tournament, then life got terribly busy, then in Oct 2022 the idea of making the series bigger than ever came to mind, and since then it's been a grind to create the WBL. I very much appreciate the patience and continued support, it means more than you know! 🙏
Hey Silph, they sell Bulldoze at the Mauville Pokemon Centre for $10K which is definitely achievable by that point if you pick up some hidden items and sell revives you pick up etc

I discovered your channel some time ago, and it was the first time in many many years that I found myself enjoying Pokémon content again, that at a time where I could really use anything that gave me joy at all as I was on the cusp of burn out at the time. Your video's reminded me of the time I played pokemon soul silver over and over and over again as a kid with my cousin (I had two copies of that game for some reason).
