- Todd and Julie Chrisley, who reported to prison earlier this year for twelve and seven year sentences in their tax fraud case, are being released early. Per federal records, Todd is scheduled to be released in 2033 and Julie in 2028.

Good because I mean COME ON.....Murderers have gotten less this sentence is ridiculous
I hear people say this all the time but I don't know of any short sentence for murder.

Every time I see some of the sentences for murders on Court Cam I think, " I don't understand." Dateline, 20/20, Forensic Files and more. I guess I don't have the brain cells that I thought I did.

You do the crime, you do the time. This is BS. Criminals are Criminals. No special treatment. That's mighty yt of them to shorten their sentences. Every criminal feels their sentences are too harsh, so welcome to the freaking party.
I’ve been living in a studio in NYC , just a bit bigger than a prison cell ,the only difference is I have a doorman instead of a prison warden. Should I feel bad for 2 pompous, arrogant, entitled, southern , white, con artists, grifters, who ripped off 3 banks, did not pay back taxes, and spends $300,000 a year on Dolce and Gabbana , allegedly of course . They had the opportunity to plead guilty and apologize for a lesser sentence but Todd being Todd thought he and his high priced lawyers knew better. Now it’s amazing how his kids so quickly became prison advocates. Poor people, many of them minorities, have been dealing with these conditions for years but Todd and Julie are not over the moon thrilled with their accommodations, and all of the sudden the entire family are prison experts and advocates for the incarcerated… Please!
Yeah they broke the law But Pedos and murdered get Charged With Far Less in terms of Years in prison it’s ridiculous

Their sentences were excessive to begin with. We still have certain politicians who are getting away with multiple crimes and nothing happens.

The man that murdered my husband spent 11 months in jail got out for good behavior no probation no nothing!! These people lied about money,dear God,you should at least let them out so they can take care of their children., I think none of us are perfect and everyone deserves a second chance, and yes the man that murdered my husband has his second chance, but locking these two up for years, is insane! That’s why there is no room in jails now to lock evil up!! Do better! God’s Blessings to your family✌🏼

There sentences did not get reduced. They have to do 85% of there sentence so nothing has changed.

Those sentences seem excessive. Take everything they have (since it's all about the money) fine them, send them to jail but no more than 5 years for Todd, no more than 2 for Julie. When they get out & have nothing, & can't get jobs, homes or loans, I think they'll have many regrets & not try that again.
The Government has done worse. Try them see who the real frauds are

The parents should have thought about it before they committed a crime. Having a luxurious lifestyle was more important than their kids. I know they regret it now, but it's too late. I do agree that they shouldn't have got so much time though. It is a messed up judicial system that gives a longer sentence to a non violent criminal than they do a violent criminal.

I’m not a judge, but in the court of public opinion their sentences were too harsh. They earned enough money from the show to pay off whatever mistake they made. Money can be paid back.

My husband and I never miss 2:36 there shows they give us a good laugh especially Nanny Faye. They did wrong and it was pretty bad but Thresa and Joe from housewives of New Jersey did the same thing and got half the time that Julie and Todd did. I think Julie should get a total of three years and Todd at least 5 years the judge went a little to long on them. I think they've learned that they really did wrong and will never do it again you only hope. The kids and Nanny Faye really need them Nanny Faye won't be around much longer.
