What suggestions do you have how we as citizens can advocate for prisoners? I am shocked at the amount of recidivism in our country. Perhaps those in power believe if prisoners suffer enough, they won’t commit crimes in the future. When likely the opposite is true. Rehabilitation of prisoners can have a domino effect and do a lot of good.

My heart goes out to you and your family. I cannot even imagine not getting to speak to someone I love. It's worse than actually losing them to death. They are alive and thousands of miles away and you cannot carry on a conversation with them. I cannot imagine their heartbreak when they have been together all these years. Praying everything works out and they are home sooner than later.

My first introduction to the Chrisleys was April 2021 when I had surgery. A friend suggested I binge watch Chrisley Knows Best. After I finished that I found the podcast and binge listened to that in its entirety. Then I discovered Growing up Chrisley. This family made me laugh through my recovery. We sure miss them don’t we. ❤. 🙏

Savannah Chrisley, im 32 year old female. And I have to say watching your family in the show has brought me so much peace and laughter in hard times. I didnt have that love growing up and to see that love and unity in your family was the first time I saw what good families are meant to be. From the bottom of my heart thank you. And just know i cry now hearing about your parents. They have done so much for people that they have never met. I watched your moms cooking again last night and cried thinking of her now suffering. I wish Julie Chrisley wouldnt suffer another day in her life. I pray blessings for your whole family. And im sorry for yalls pain.
I feel the same way! I can relate to you in most things you said in your post. I come from a small family and even though I did have love and support, I admire the bond they all share, no one is perfect and they have had their issues but they all have such a strong bond and respect for one another, we need more of that. I have gone on Julie’s Blog and made some of her recipes, I love watching her cook, she makes it look so easy, I have learned a lot from her. One day I will master her Banana Pudding lol

In this life big, family or small, coming from lots of money or not money, regardless of what the family has, what is so rare is that love that the chrisley family has for eachother. You could have everything in your family or nothing but that love and strong bond is rare. The most shocking thing to me was to see them say to eachother "I love you" so often. They end every call and goodbye with it love yous to eachother on the show. And I never had my parents tell me i love your growing up at all, let alone everyday. That is amazing to me. And to see loving people like that reminds me to be loving to. Also what a coincidence, the video that it started crying in the middle of, was her banana pudding video. I have found myself thinking o about Miss Julie a lot over the past year because I can’t imagine what she is going through & feeling which is weird because I don’t even know her but I have always loved this family. Everyone pays for their misgivings... and when buying houses, clothes ect, they weren't thinking about prison. Prison is not for comfort. You reap what you sow like Everyone else. We are examples for each other.

Wow I cried so much during this reading of her letters. I pray for all the ones who is or has served time. My brother is in a prison in Alabama and it’s so hard to live knowing the worry you have for them. It’s hard for them and also for the loved ones. Hang in there and can’t wait to see the changes you make in all their lives
You are doing such courageous things Savannah. Due to your relentless ability to never give up will be the reason your parents get out early. You should be very proud of yourself. As hard as this is, please keep doing what you are doing. You are a role model.

They are paying like you and I would, prison is not built for comfort. Someone suffered from what they did so should they,no different from you and I. There's a price too pay for your actions no matter who you are. I still like them always like the show. But you can't make others pay for your crimes. Because whom ever worked for those financial institutions may have lost their job for doing business with them not knowing what they were doing. I criminal is a criminal they committed crimes.

Their just paying for their actions like anyone else has to. I them and the show, but people that worked for those financial institutions may have lost their jobs dealing with them. It's sad too say but they are criminals. Like anyone else. We have too pay for what do.
I have already commented but . The story in the Bible about Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego . And as they were standing in the fire . There was a 4th person which was Jesus . . The soldiers died just by getting to close to the furnace . Not even bring in it . But Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego they came out of that furnace not even smelling like smoke . This is going to be your Momma. God shower me that as I was praying for Julie . I will continue to pray for y’all . And Todd of course too .
Hi could you please pray for me? I’m facing homelessness, terrible health issues, and my husband is locked in jail with his hands tied and cannot work to keep a roof over my disabled body anymore. I’m very sad, I’m trying so hard to get through this but it’s very hard with a limited income of 800$/month like who in the heck can afford anything living off that and if I dare try and get any more income I get kicked off my SSI payments. I’m trying so hard not to fall apart but all I do is cry and pray and I know prayer is so much stronger when two or more are gathered please & thank you! God bless you! AMEN ❤

Just came across this video AND PLEASE tell me these letters will be converted in to a book at some point? I can’t imagine how difficult all this has been for your entire family but Julie’s letters…had me in tears from both a humbling perspective and in great laughter.
I have no doubt that from just her first week in, that both salt lady and body powder eating lady, along with Todd visiting your mom through Ms. Bird’s colonoscopy will make your mother the Queen of street prison spades when she gets out (and maybe a best selling author). Can only IMAGINE you reading Todd’s letters full of daily prison stories. Remain strong in your faith because as my mother has always taught me, “At the end of the day, Faith is all we really have.” 🙏💪

Savannah, thank you so much for sharing your mom’s letters. I know there are millions out here that think of your family. The letters brought tears but also the hints of Julie that came through were so beautiful. I am so grateful that other inmates are helping her and that she is making friends. I’m sure that’s so important to making it through. But, I have no doubt that there is nothing that will break Julie or Todd.
You are amazingly strong! You are not just taking care of the family but you have begun a fight that must be fought. The prison system has no idea what is coming their way. Because we all know, that the Chrisley’s have just begun to make conditions known and will fight for change! A movement is coming. I remember when your mother said, No test, no testimony! I feel ur pain, I wept with you. I had to watch my 17 yr old son go to prison and it was the absolute hardest thing I’ve ever had to go thru. He is home now after serving 12 years n growing up inside those dark dreary walls. Only God got us thru.
I'm glad you are on the other side of a bad experience. I once was doing some research on prisons etc. The # of children who don't get to see their parents is astounding. The typical reason is the kids have no way to get to the prison as it is usually several hours away. I hope Savannah signs up to take other children with her when she visits FL and KY. It would also be mentally good for Chloe and Greyson, so a win-win all around.
I love the Chrisleys and feel like their family just from watching the show since season 1, and continuing to watch the seasons over and over again. My prayers each day are that Todd and Julie will be home soon!!!
No matter your opinion of this family, no matter your stance, this is heartbreaking having to adjust and realize your family is in prison.
I feel the judge was throwing the book at them bc of who they are and other lite reasons ( you know what I mean) not to mention probably a democrat as when November gets here many will be putting in request to our NEW Republican president to release them earlier.

Dear Savanna, What you are doing is so very important. You are putting a "real" face to the prison life from a different point of view and your platform is the perfect place to do so. I loved watching the family, so thank you for putting these letters out there for us. I cried 2 min into the video.
I was so sad hearing these. As someone who works on the prosecution side in my local jurisdiction I see many injustices and false reports/allegations more than people realize within the criminal court system. Having your attorney on to clarify things with the allegations was great and helped to understand things better. Prayers for you and the family, I have always loved Todd and Julie! I tell people all the time Chrisley Knows best is my therapy when I just need a good laugh. There are more people praying and pulling for you all than you realize. Praying that everything works out.

I cried this whole time feeling like I relived a part of my life I could forget. Now those scars and hard times just adding to all the other things I have to live with. You can be surrounded by the most wonderful group of women who have made bad decisions(s) some just for their own survival but still feel so alone. I've watched many movies about jail and prison prior but NOTHING will prepare you for what you will have to live through. Those moments of. "church" even if all you may get is hearing a song be sang from your cell which happens more often than not can be so helpful. I wish her well as I do everyone in that situation. It's a very different life that can be told to you many times but until you're there you will never understand.

Savannah, thank you for sharing your letters of your mom. There is so much truth in ur video about the treatment of those in Prison. Prison is so corrupt, and they just do what they want as they are not held accountable for their actions. They way that the treat the prisoners is so uncalled for and then you talked about wasting food the same thing happens in state prisons as well.

I don't believe Julie should be in prison. She probably was in the dark like Guidice Theresa that did time because of her husband's doing. Julie should not be in prison.

This is happening for a reason in your life. It's all part of God's plan for you. Who knows where HE will take you. Don't worry about getting emotional reading these letters, I would have a hard time as well. We all would. I pray for good news when Mr. Little argues the appeal. There is always hope and faith. Take care of yourself.

What a journey your all on.
