- Todd Chrisley is 'extremely pleased' after the appeals court granted oral arguments for his and wife Julie's fraud case, the couple's attorney tells ET in a statement. The 'Chrisley Knows Best' stars are serving a combined 15-year prison sentence, following their convictions for bank fraud and tax evasion.

No one here is arguing that prison is inhumane they're arguing about certain conditions, being inhumane, particularly when we're talking about crimes the don't involve any violence. Yes, somebody who commits a non-violent crime has to have some penalty because otherwise, it won't be any disincentive not to do the bad act, but at the same time my life isn't at risk because the Chrisleys did, or did not pay a sufficient amount of taxes. I don't think anybody should find themselves in prison with the conditions being so bad that it's attracting snakes, assuming, of course, that it's an ongoing issue and not some random one off, because even in a penthouse suite, you might occasionally find a snake or even a rat.
I guess it has reached the public so yeah!! Thankful it has light no matter what it took. 🙏
It’s been shown Tod is in a small person ratio, cushy prison, as prisons go, where he was glad to be able to work in the chapel.
It’s also been shown pictures of Julie smiling in flower gardens!😊 Stating she was working in a nursing or infirmary type job. I’ve had 3 snakes in 2 different nice homes in my lifetime! I hope that is not the rule there but the exception!!😮
@@sandyvaughn6483 from what I understand the big objection has been with healthcare, and from what I know this is an area where the system is sorely lacking. I was falsely arrested, and I spent one night in prison before it was all straightened out. During that one night they tried to withhold lithium from my cell mate as a means of punishing her. I stood up for her because it was the right thing to do and because I was already scared out of my mind so the last thing I wanted was to be trapped in a cell with a schizophrenic who was off her lithium. When I was taken to the infirmary an hour later the nurse cautioned me about getting involved and she flat out told me that if people wanted proper medical care, they should avoid committing crimes. I flat out told her that I had to nothing wrong and that I shouldn't of had to intervene because she should have is the law doesn't allow her to withhold medication. The woman came back because I think she realized that I wasn't some one they could easily walk all over and get away with it, although the guard spent the rest of the night referring to me as "little Ms ADA" had I not thought I was definitely going to be out of there permanently by the next day and I hadn't been more scared of the girl being off her meds then I was of the guards, I don't know that I would've felt comfortable saying anything because there definitely was a very sinister tone to it

That girl is getting way too far ahead of herself… this is just the first step, and normally one that gets shut down pretty quick. I know you want your parents home, but the likelihood of that happening is slim to none.
The bigger question is, if and when they get out whether sooner or after serving their full sentences, will they continue on this fight for humane orison conditions?

One thing I’ve learned in life is don’t tell all your business! Everyone is not on your side. She shouldn’t have told the children anything until the appeal was heard and decision made. Depending on whether it was good… don’t give them hope only to be disappointed.

The sentences are a bit long I agree. I think Wesley Snipes did 28 months for the same thing. They do deserve the time but not get off free. If I did this, I'd be in jail too. With the snakes etc

Because there were some serious issues with the way the government conducted itself that any citizen should take issue with because we all come into contact with the IRS and if the government release decides to said it's sites on you, there's a little the average person is going to do to effectively prevent it.
