My parents always told me "stop worrying about what others have. That's them. Not you." But I was always puzzled with this bunch. Never saw them working. Just always spending.

How much money is enough. Greed will come back to bite you. Todd bragged on one show he bought over $300,000 a year of clothes. The feds don't mess around with bank, tax fraud and tax evasion. They made millions on that show and threw it all away with greed. Very sad.

Yea, you say that now paying your 15% that adds up to a few grand taken out of your paycheck throughout the year that you never really notice. But at this level, when you have to pay 45% on millions, at one time. You write that check to the government for a few million dollars cash one time, the very next year your going to be doing everything you can not to light millions of dollars in your bank account on fire again. Even if you can short the government 10% you are still making yourself hundreds of thousands of dollars at that level. So you can see why it’s always tax evasion that gets people like this.

It was more than just tax fraud.
That’s sad They gave the criminal 15 days probation for setting up bartenders and give them 19!years 😮something not right ! And it’s more in the same town as them they should do time with them . Let’s be real !

Wow, this sad for the kids, his mother, and the grandchildren. Hard lessons. The FEDs really are making an example of them... this is some hard time given all the insider folks that did the same thing and worse and got little time if at all. They are being made a serious example for sure. Sad... They were all about christian values and they were doing some stuff that was really awful.

Idk why this bothering as much as it is. Lord have mercy. I had no idea their accountant was sentenced as well because I wasn’t following this story in it’s entirety. This makes me want to examine ALL of my business connections with a fine tooth comb before solidifying any deals or alliances. SMH

Get real people, they’ll wait until this dies down and end up with small or suspended sentences. Surely they will have to spend the rest of their lives paying back some of the money. I’d already be in jail.

Seems as if the accountant got a sweet deal by throwing them under the bus. The Chrisley couple is not a danger to society yet they get longer sentences than many violent offenders. This makes no sense. They should be penalized financially and forced to pay back those debts.

What I will understand is putting rich people in jail because of tax fraud. They get to live off taxpayers money in jail and when they come out, are they now debts free?Why not make them work and pay off their debts.

No they will go to prison at the same time on Jan15th,the judge told them they should have thought about the kids when they were committing their crimes,and they were not the only ones that are going to prison that had kids,so she denied them to stagger their.sentence until Chloe turned 18

I would agree they had it practiced to a tee how to fraud and embezzle real estate loans and then filed bankruptcy for two decades. Not acceptable and it should be punishable by law for all. The deal is - they behaved and act as if the "IRS" did not exist. Well, Well, Well - little did they know the "IRS" was watching and paying attention. And to think they have a Podcast. So, what do they think they are going to do - continue the Podcast in Prison. Host a speed dating show and appeal their sentence - "Seriously" - these two think what they are doing is okay. The judge should have given them a sentence that would make their heads spin 360 degrees. 🙄
