Those guys aren't stealing the money because people are sending it to them willingly and because they are religious entities they don't have to pay taxes. Ok, they’re going to a federal prison in Florida. Well, because they are not a large risk of flight or escape, they are going to be in an area of low risk. Then after a few months, they will be allowed to live off site, but unable to leave the county. They’ll report every morning, noontime and evening. Their sentences are not like someone who goes to a state pen with hardened criminals.
Federal prison is a lot harsher than state prison.
