Join us as we take a look at the 2014 Kennerspiel nominee Rococo published by Pegaus Spiel. NB: I cut myself shaving so thats not a chocolate drop on my upper lip, honest...
Love Rococo. Couldn’t get the old version or else would cost more than the Deluxe version. So ended up getting the Deluxe version. Easy became one of my top 10 games
Nice review and summary, I managed to picked this up recently (original not Deluxe) and got our first play in this morning, thoroughly enjoyed it, played without the expansions which i also managed to get. Made one mistake in forgetting to award points to the first to occupy all floors, didnt really get much hiring done, 2 each i think and no debuting carried out. looking forward to next play
I quite like it. We have everything for it and it reminds me of Fighting Fantasy books. There’s an issue with replayability and random die rolls but it’s good fun. Not sure it’s worth the asking price though...in hindsight I’d rather pick up Deathtrap Dungeon for 50p.
@@BoardGameBollocks Don't get me started on the Deluxe... Character cards look like bland soulless mannequins, the box is rediculously big and clunky. Then there's the fact that there is a deluxe/deluxe+/deluxe ultimate-or-whatever version in existence with different components. None of that is as bad as this though: The tokens you put in the bag, the chip after a few plays. The paper adhesive seems to let go on the backside of the tokens... It looks pretty on the shelf though. Maybe I should set it on fire. Haven't made my mind up yet.
@@timstimbre9762 Had my copy of Deluxe for two years, played it plenty and have not had this problem nor have I seen anyone have this problem. Original is dull, beige, boring.
Ouch. I don’t generally maintain a top ten list so I have had to do some quick thinking. Tigris and Euphrates Tash Kalar Die Schlacht dear Dinosaurier The Fury of Dracula (GW version) Heroscape Torres Inis Steam / AoS / RotW Battle Cry (and other C and C) Dixit Fortune and Glory Just two games with cubes, but all with strong player interaction, not to say conflict. Ask tomorrow and I may have a different list...
Great review again, easily one of the best channels out there, thanks for the staggering about of content you create!
Cheers geez 👍🏻

Great game. Shame the budget version of OOP
I like the lightning, the shots and the look of your videos. Very good job!
Thanks mate...take a lot of work/time to make these vids 👍🏻
How does this game stack up to Shakespeare? I really love Shakespeare but I am not sure I really need two games of such a similar theme?
I’ve not payed Shakespeare but I’ve read about it...I’m not sure the themes are that similar tbh.
I was wondering how you're doing. 😄 How are ya mate? Ya holding?
I’m good mate 👍🏻
nothing to do with this game - what's your thoughts on Escape the Dark Castle?

@@BoardGameBollocks Ha Deathrap Dungeon was an absolute killer!
Beautiful board.
Very pretty as are all the components. Personally I prefer it to the deluxe version. This one has more character.

Another Eagle Gryphon disaster then...

There’s a few reviews I can do on that list...you haven’t had much luck recently.

Yes mate 👍🏻
