- My wife’s Renault Zoe ZE40 stopped communicating with the Renault App last week.
Assuming you have a valid subscription to the correct ZE Services, this is how to fix it.
In this video i will show you have to force reset the head unit & if this does not work how to pull the correct TCU fuse to force the
telematics unit to be forced off & back on.
TCU Fuse is numbered F31

Only attempt this if you know what you are doing.
If not comfortable doing this then get a mechanic to do it for you.

Had this issue on a few occasions over the last 3 years. Always does the trick - many Thanks! Helped a friend as well!
It worked to me, i needed to do this two times in weeks. The mistery is why this occour... why the software cant reconnect to the renault servers without a reboot removing the fuse. I really dont understand how Renault leave it at this way without make a hotfix or something like else.
Got the same issue, but the fuse is so stuck 😅 now I need some heavy tools 🤣
Hello sir,
I just bought a Zoe from 2019 November fabrication year, and on my renault app i don t have the features for climate control and other things.
I’m trying to connect with zoe but is coming a message to activate the contracts from the screen on board(navi) and i don t have the sd card(they lost it) i will buy a new one.
Maybe this is the problem? Because i don t have the sd card?
You will need the SD card i think but not 100% sure. You will need a My Renault account which you can setup on their website which links your name & address to the VIN number of the car. Once linked you can see your warranties and remaining contracts on screen to see if they have expired. If you get stuck ring Renault Customer Services. Our 2018 ZE40 had a previous owner and Customer Services had to fix it to work for us.
I’ve seen another video and they pull a different fuse for the Rlink? Regardless, my network still won’t connect 😢
Sorry to hear that. Is it possible that the imbedded sim card only supports 3g and most mobile networks are phasing it out?
Hi Brian, how's the EV6 coming along?
It was back at the dealers yesterday for the HVAC Inverter swap out so i’ve not got a quote for the paintwork yet.
I did manage to get some Universal bumper fixing studs to replace the 7 broken ones though off Amazon so at least all my loose bits are secure now.
I’ve documented progress so expect a video over the weekend.
@@evodessey Glad to hear your bits are secure!!!!!
@@Jock55 😂 Just waiting on the Paint quote now.
So I have done everything in the video - the head unit reports connected, but the app still won't update SOC.. Any ideas ?
Has Renault Connected services expired?
Disconnecting the 12V battery also resets the system and is easier to do. Just remove the black clamp for a couple of seconds and then put it back. After next boot, your Network will be connected again. The only tool you need is a 10mm socket wrench.
Strangely that didn’t work for me.
Try to keep it disconnected for a full minute. That should do the trick.
It was a while back since I did it but all of the cars screens remained on after I disconnected,it was off for 10 mins, very strange
You could try disconnecting both the black and the red clamp, but I guess resetting the fuse is simpler then.
