As someone who has worked the call center for people’s cards, this isn’t a victimless crime. They think, “well as long as they eventually get the money back,” but they don’t think of the person 200 miles from home trying to fill up on gas in the middle of the night on a road trip, stranded in the middle of nowhere because their account is drained and now they can’t afford gas; or a family that can’t afford food for a week. I’ve seen this stuff happen too much to pretend it’s victimless.
My ex husband had his account hacked on Christmas eve. It played havoc with our plans for the holiday and well into the new year.
They are switched on enough to know it's not victimless. If it's a scam they are unlikely to get money back. Only way is if the bank is good to then or makes concessions towards the relationship as goodwill. It's only straight fraud with 0 error on customers part they are guaranteed to get money back.
Worked at a big bank for Fraud protection for over ten years. You’re right it’s not victimless at all. It can get someone evicted if it’s at the wrong time, can keep a baby without diapers and formula, and can keep people from getting vital medications. People also don’t realize that the more idiots doing this stuff, the more fees on banks and cards go up so they can continue to make money.
My account was hacked (card cloned) the day before my daughter's birthday party. I went to the ATM to get the remainder of the money for the venue we booked for her party and money was gone. I ended up having to take out a title loan on my car to pay for her party. Although I was able to resolve what happened, the panic that I felt in that moment I wouldnt wish on my worst enemy
@@daisywaizy4139yikes. You couldn’t ask family or a friend tho bro?! Getting a title loan for a few hundred bucks is wild. Sad situation tho. Most scammers don’t target poor people. Usually only people with 50k in their account.
Gotta be honest, the best part of being broke/poor is knowing that if anyone steals my cards it’ll just be denied🤣🤣
same lol
Yeah, but if you have your rent money in your account, and this dillweed steals your money before you can pay your rent, how much of a pain is that going to be, even if the bank eventually refunds your money.
Thankfully, most modern banking apps allow you to lock your card.
Your not poor if your bills are paid before you go having fun… u ain’t broke or poor ur responsibly adulting
they can use your card on many sites and the transaction will go through once money hits the account
I used to know Dev personally. This guy is pretty smart. None of the stuff he's doing is real. That $10k he got from the bank, he walked in WITH the $10k originally and asked the clerk to count it through a money counter to see how much it was. The clerk them banded it up and handed it back to him. Everything you see is easily explainable. That's why he's never been caught, because there's nothing to catch.
LOL
100% and it's so obvious. He's not even that devious. He's literally getting paid 100s of 1000s off of his social accounts. It's laughable.
The scam is within his marketing and how people are giving him views which in turn is making him rich.
Yup. He's just scamming the lil kids in the comment sections.
its true, even in the video when they cash out 600 from the ATM you can see its literally his own account lol
"Invest in what, a lawyer?" Had me rolling
same lmfao
That woman in the store was totally against scammers until she got some free stuff. This is how corruption works and how easy it is for people to become complacent.
Idk, I think she probably just felt awkward with a big group of criminals around her with a camera in her face, not that she was stoked that she got a free Pepsi
She also was on camera surrounded by many criminals……so yeah I would definitely would feel nervous and probably say what I need to walk away safely
she just a regular person going to the corner store why would she risk standing up to them lol
So true
I think so too. Just say no thanks, you're not gonna get jumped at least you're not complicit in a crime. Maybe she felt threatened or like something would happen outside and it was just really weird, but I think in that situation I would have felt ok to say no even if I don't feel safe to call them out. Just leave and hurry away.
My *FAVORITE* thing to do is ask obvious foreign scammers what the weathers like in the city that showed up on my caller ID. Had a guy in "Phoenix" agreeing how dangerous the icy roads were in winter.
EDIT: It's all in good fun. I've had scammers in "Denver" agreeing that alligators are becoming a real problem. 🐊😂

As someone who lives in Phoenix I can confirm the icy roads are super dangerous in winter.

Oh the puppy scamming thing is rampant - big time - when we got our pup 4 years ago thankfully my hubby is tech savvy and was able to do reverse image searches and such and we did not loose money. But we did eventually get a pup. Her name is Maggie Mae
The newest scam going around right now is these guys saying their child just died and they're selling their PlayStation 5 for like $100. They tell you just pay for the shipping, and then say they have to send it in 3 different boxes so you have to pay an extra shipping fee after you already paid the $100..
Claiming a child died to scam people is beyond scandalous and they should be ashamed of themselves.
Hahahaha

That has been going on ever since consoles have been around lol

My dad was still working and my mom was always busy with volunteering.
So hold your tongue. Unless you have a personal relationship with @lauraw3338 you don’t know anything about her or her mother.

Hey, Bruce. Did you know that $20s are the most often counterfeited bills? No one checks them, so they're super easy to pass. In various jobs we always checked $50s and $100s, often badly (with the marker, which doesn't work if the bill is washed and uses real bill paper or something...) But we *never* check $20s. You're working at McDonalds, or a diner, or Walmart? It's too busy to be checking $20s. If you don't do it TERRIBLY, they're easy to offload and more profitable than $10s. Plus, no one even questions a stack of $20s because that's what ATMs dispense, duh.
OF COURSE THE SCAMMER HAS A STACK OF $20s. OF COURSE HE DOES. IF YOU KNOW, YOU KNOW.
My friend got $1800 taken from her bank account and it took a month for the bank to fix it. She was so stressed about how she was gonna pay her bills the whole time. Her husband is sick and she has a small child. So that’s who scammers are hurting.
She’d hate me
Yep that’s the issue, sure people can and do get their money back, but not having that money available when they planned for it can change peoples lives. When you’re paycheck to paycheck without much of a safety net saved away, that one month can completely change your entire life
@@risktaker7775til you catch lead

I'm in a similar boat right now. Some idiot bought 4 iPads with my credit card info before the credit card company started blocking the transactions. This was in early July and I haven't heard anything from the bank fraud team since our initial call and the transactions are still on my account. Honestly it felt like Apple was more helpful than my credit card company. So I'm pretty pissed at them.
I think it’s dumb to flaunt your cash and jewelry if you made it legally, but imagine putting yourself out there knowing you made it all illegally. 😂 That’s like speeding with drugs in the car. The definition of self snitching 🤡💀
"That boy ain't right, I tell you what."

I was robbed a couple of months ago: passport, car registration, my wallet with all of my cards, hardly any money. Still it costed me about 500 to get everything again. And then we are not speaking of the emotional costs of feeling exposed and victimised.
So glad you posted this for a more realistic look at what these idiots are doing on the internet
I had my wallet stolen by a junkie who went on a shopping spree around town, using all my credit cards. I noticed and had all my accounts closed within hours and before too much damage (I did get all the money they spent back, but yes, it was a major pain in the butt), BUT this happened DAYS before my husband and I were taking our kids on our first family vacation since before the pandemic. I had NO ID and NO form of payment to go on vacation. It ruined our vacation!! Scammers have no idea what is going on in their victims lives and how much damage they might be doing. They are horrible people.
Hours? Bruh I lost my wallet and another time my Uber drove off with my wallet and I had my shit closed and cancelled within minutes
They do, They just don't care. They tell themselves it's victimless to feel okay about their crime.
That's not scamming called getting robbed.
And they don’t care. Protecting your credit might mean more than protecting your kid’s.
You seem to have shown your children how to deal with it in a classy way.

I worked for a now defunct electronics store. One time out loss prevention caught a guy stealing like $20 of merchandise. For one reason or another, they decided to get the police involved instead of releasing him and banning him from the store (Maybe they had evidence of a past theft.) The police came and detained him and performed a search on his van. What they found turned made his mild crime of theft child's play. In the back of his van was equipment to create credit cards using info he skimmed from credit card reader. Additionally, hundreds of "blank" credit cards loaded with stolen card numbers.
Loss Prevention celebrated that week.
Crazy how many rent a cops think they can arrest someone lol have fun getting shot for 10$ a hour.

I was just in Japan last month for a cultural exchange through my college and while I was there, I talked to some of the students who will be coming to my college for schooling and the number one question they asked was about property crime. It was so embarrassing to have to tell them that it is a real problem here. In Japan, property theft is almost non-existent. It's so sad that people are like this.
Just gave the 👎 because it is very sad, depressing, and scary. I hate that you had to tell Japanese students about this happening.
@@tinavasquez7206You can dislike the information on the comment but giving it a like gets more people to see it. I agree it's very sad. I live in a wee village in Scotland, I would've take a risk of leaving my door unlocked at night with my kids home but usually if I'm out during the day the door is unlocked and I've no worries about that.
They do it daily and control the fentanyl crisis they do not care lol
Because also in Japan, you literally disappear for breaking the law/stealing
@Tactics_Actual that may be true, I don't actually know if that's how their justice system works but that's not why it's like that. The reason people don't steal in japan has much more to do with culture and history than it does the punishment for the crime.
I had 1000 withdrawn from my account along with an attempt to cash a 23,000 cheque, basically attempted identity theft, the cheque never cleared and once i noticed i reported it, but bc they used my pin to take out the 1000 out i was not reimbursed. Instead of being recognized as the victim i was treated as a suspect, it was a disheartening experience to say the least xo
You know what DOESN'T taste better because it's free?

I can’t stand people who steal from others like this. I spent hours dealing with the aftermath of someone trying to obtain a fraudulent loan under our business. Luckily, a letter was sent to our house because their bank refused the money due to the fact that it wasn’t our own business account. How it got this far, I have no idea, but I would love to have known the absolute scum who tried to do this to us.
Probably a current or ex employee, someone would have had to of known enough personal information to get that far, maybe someone who did your accounting, then had someone you didn’t know apply, they would have probably spoken to someone you dealt with or who knew enough about you from past dealings, and look and see if it was started when you were absent, generally they try when you are out of town..
had to blacklist myself on all credit unions from my dad stealing my identity many times, also did it to my mom & attempted with my gf.
Never got to confront him; his landlord found him dead a few weeks later and tried to scam me + half-brother for rent, bills etc. he missed while deceased...then stole his keys & unpaid car.
i wouldn't much mind if other scammers rotted alone too.

My dad started getting calls telling him,his grandson was in jail and needs “bail” money, from several cities. Yes, he called me the first time and I promised him, he was fine and working. After the third call, he seriously started to believe them and thought we were lying to him. I had to ask my son to stop by his grandpa house on his way home and all was well. The reason he started to wonder is because, he worked at the airport and can fly where ever he wants, so it seemed plausible to my dad. He also thought maybe we were having money problems and didn’t tell him, I assured him we were doing fine and if I needed money for my child, I most certainty would ask him

Anyone who’s ever been a victim of identity theft will tell you it’s horrible. Giving people stress and stealing their time and putting marks next to their name is not victimless even if they get the money back but it's a load of bs that the bank isn't charging all they can get away with every quarter, if there were no scams it would be no different and many scams are only possible because of complacency of the bank and other institutions that make a calculation the losses make up for the gains, a calculation which never takes into account the victims who get hit. What we need to do is like they’ve done in Europe for at least the past 20 years and make every credit card accompanied by a manual PIN, which is decoupled from the card. This way, even if someone can skim a card, they still need the PIN.
The fact is our banks are too cheap to invest in such a system and customers too lazy to take the extra time and effort.
@@ienjoylifeit's bizarre people in the USA still have to swipe. Such a new, rich, but archaic country in many respects.
Bring it back to cash and we ll just start robbing cash imports etc like the mafia was back in the day. There will always be theft
Imagine you're in a degree program to learn how this is done, and He's on the other side didn't go to school for any of that and knows how to do it?
I remember they used to be a show called “it takes a thief” where a former thief would rob someone’s house, so that they know where the weak spots are. And then the former thief would then give them tips, and also technology to protect their house.
I think I accidentally clicked on a try not to laugh haha this is class video man much love
Looking forward to the follow up video....
I remember walking into a bank when the COVID mask mandate hit. I didn’t know about it. They said, “YOU CAN’T COME IN HERE WITHOUT A MASK!” I was like… “Psssh. I bet that’s the first time y’all have ever said THAT!! 😂”
Yoooo facts hahahaha😂
No doubt lol
Lmao did you really say that? 😂😂 what did they say back
THAT is THE BEST comment!! I'm dying.
😂😂🤣🤣🤣🤣
yep...😂 same happened to me! 😅 like...mask?! in a bank 🤔
My poor grandma god rest her soul was scammed over a decade ago, saying they had her oldest grandson in jail and they were going to do horrible things to him. They even had someone on the phone pretending to be him!!! All she had to to was walk 2 streets over to my aunt's house to find out it wasn't true. She gave them thousands of dollars before we found out. Almost drained all her money. So sad. These people need to get caught and face the consequences! I've been scammed before, they bought new dentures!!! Wtf get a job and do it the right way
First time seeing you with a beard! Looking good sir!
I thought I'd never touch paper money again, but it looks like I have to go back to this.
Bruce is the Criminal Lawyer! Welcome back my friend. It looks like you had a wonderful trip! Keep that damn beard. It's like Stallone in Rocky IV when he's in Russia running up the mountains during the training scenes (LOL)!
21:31 you hit that 100%. As if it’s not bad enough, To steal from someone that only has $600 in the bank is the worst. Honestly….Even IF the person gets it back (and on a debit that is a BIG IF on hundreds of dollars), it’s definitely going to take at least 10 days. For sure that person and his/her family suffers during those stressful 10 days.
Been there. Had $4 in the bank and less before, I was sweating nonstop until I got paid next hoping I wouldn’t have any unexpected bills autopay and take my $4. It’s terrifying. He’s POS for taking that man’s $600 to buy ugly ass chains and cheap gas station food
@@InTheHillCountry With you 100%!
its probably not real anyways. He makes enough of his fans that buy a cashapp glitch from him
@@InTheHillCountryhe’s not a real scammer goof troop this is all for show he only scams the people who pays for the methods that don’t work
It says hello Devin that’s his account 😂
I watched that video by Dev the other day im proud of how i catch on to things before they occur...
PunchMade Dev was mistaken about what the $250K threshold is for: That's how much is insured per customer (via the FDIC for ordinary banks and S&Ls, and via the NCUA for credit unions) in case the bank fails, but that doesn't apply if the bank is still financially healthy and it's just a particular customer that was scammed; there is no automatic protection in that case, but banks in most cases do eventually refund customers in cases of fraud.
Also, another way in which this is not a victimless crime is that if the fraud is committed via a cloned payment card, the card-issuer will, after refunding the customer, seek that money from the *merchant* (who would then have standing to sue the fraudster), and especially in low-margin retail sectors, this can devastate small businesses.
he was mistaken bc he’s faking this whole thing 😂
These people are horrible examples of the human race and they're PROUD of it. Ugh. Unbelievable, disturbing. Btw, the beard looks really good.
Do you mean the guy himself or the character has portrayed? His money is obviously legit and all the scams stuff is fake For the movie, right? But yeah, the character he is playing, the criminal, definitely terrible. But I don’t believe the guy is the criminal.. Surely no one would be so stupid as to produce their own confession
@@snared_ You got it right on the nose. He is simply portraying a character for his music, and he really just scams his own fans by selling "scamming methods" which are completely fake, and ultimately just a way for him to make some quick money.
If this isn’t all a hoax itself, the misery that is about to befall him is so enormous.
it has to be fake, there's no way he produced his own confession video
never forget bro was a gta streamer at first😂
yeah its gotta be faked otherwise he would get ganked
Hopefully! You can't count on the law anymore.
@@DavidRodriguez-hh6kxAndrew Tate did the same thing essentially. People are stupid.
Bro how is nobody talkin about „ofc its fake“ and then „who gives a shit, honestly“ 😭😭😭🤣🤣
This is the best reaction to this video ive seen 😂
i love your down-to-earth explanations and strong ethics and mission to educate all things including ethics. Thank you.
Crimes are not "FREE" - Banks pass on the cost of *these scamming & theft operations, by charging customers higher fees!!*
this guys funny asf bruh😭😭 i cant take him seriously😭😭😭 provin the scammer right w his reactions to everything fr he jus beleivin it
I knew this was gonna be good😂
He's shown a whole generation how to scam. Even if he gets put in jail, another 3,000 copycats will take his place. This is seriously disturbing.
He didn't show anybody anything. This is just a utuber trying to make clout.
yeah went into that rabbit hole and it's just a dude selling courses. @@jessicastevens538
Nah this was like showing people an airplane flying. They aren’t just going to be able to hop in that airplane and fly. This is a very high level overview.
@@zdwadeit’s easier than you think.
@@SpazzAFNFyeah but your average person is gonna lose their mind trying to figure out SOCKS5 lol
"who tf likes 20s" made me 10x more of a fan than I already was lol. You're the best Bruce!
This guy interviewing really did his best trying to make him rethink his choices lol
I hope there are repercussions for these people after this. Disgusting behaviour.
Agree they are punks
Well, I did learn something! My card was declined twice today and I ended up swiping it!!! Pure synchronicity to fall on your content today Bruce? I say YES!!!!
i follow a few lawyer channels, this one's my favorite.
"the whole world's a scam, they just look at me as the bad guy" best devils advocate argument I've ever heard.
Even though he's technically aiding and abetting, I feel like the feds will give him a break for getting this guy to expose his whole operation in 4k.
He's really not aiding and abetting. He's not doing anything to help the dude commit his crimes. He's just there filming it and explaining whats going on. It may be raunchy and it may be immoral, it's journalism and protected under the 1st amendment. unless he paid for his gas to go to the bank or he gave him a ride, aiding and abetting is an absolutely massive stretch.
@@rylandavis2976 What part of this is journalism? He's vlogging a crime and this is the same fool who thinks this is a victimless crime. He's quite literally driving them around to different places where they are placing fraudulent charges. AND he told him to get him something (sausage pizza) knowing that it was being bought fraudulently. At what point are you going to hold this guy accountable? And are you a lawyer?
They are just clowns, video is scripted, they didn’t scam anything, don’t believe everything on the Internet
He can say its all a script since its for education purposes. And he didn’t commit any crime. All of that was mostly likely his own money.
@@slimeboy5626 the guy is a poser anyways he doesn't actually scam people he just makes stuff like this to get attention for his rap career
It would be awesome to see a q&a with you and Michael both on camera answering questions!
You can’t charge a husband and wife with the same crime.😂
I like how when they said they were about to scam a pizza place that a pizza hut ad popped up like "noone out pizzas the hut" I about died laughing
I just stumbled across this vid you I’m never going back 😂
It's not just banks that he's stealing from. Even if you can recoup the stolen funds the banks don't turn around & hand it all back the moment you request it. That may take a few days. Banks aren't absorbing these losses they're passing it along to us in exorbitant fees. He's stealing from us as well.
That's a little false, as the banks are still profitable. They aren't 'passing' anything on, as the costs could be easily absorbed. That's just some bull they tell you to shift the responsibility of their own greed onto others
Watching Bruce flip out on this video is gold lol
KEEP THE BEARD BRUCE! It looks great
They are such scumbags. So is the lady that was in the gas station saying she was almost scammed online then accepts the free stuff from that guy. People don’t have any morals these days. It’s sad.
Update*** His scams are real, but he doesn't do the scams. He actually makes his money teaching scammers "how to scam for $200 on telegram". They pay for the lesson and the lessons taught don't actually work 😂😂. He makes money from scamming potential scammers. And they can't go to the cops...crazy right?
Doesn't matter he needs to go to jail
@@adamluce1901yeah he scammed you 🤣🤣🤣
