Markets and local restaurants pay for trash pickup. Food carts and trucks are mobile, they don't pay for trash pickups since they have no location.

People don't normally throw out pork ribs. That's money. In my local area Northern California. We are losing a lot of restaurants. They are shutting down one after another. Nobody can afford to eat out anymore. I bet that's what's happening there.

Using trail cams hidden away somewhere would've gotten their results. But obviously the detectives and cops in that area aren't good at actually SOLVING crimes.

@@denningmp37 The restaurant probably didn't want to toss it in their trash bin due to the smell. But hopefully, they'll be charged for the cleanup and fined up the ying-yang until it hurts so bad that they go out of business. Otherwise, they'll do it again.

The city recycling center is a joke. A personal experience when the company I worked for had 45 each empty medical E cylinders. Took it to the city recycling center, and they tried to charge our company $4,500. My boss said to bring it back to the company, and he loaded it it in a truck and got paid for recycling it in another state. That is just sooooo Cali like 😅

There are some street food vendors on Hawthorne Blvd near XXXX they have four or five tables full of food. NO RULES to follow like restaurants. Free sidewalk space, no services, no trash pickup. I blame these kind of illegal food businesses. Regular businesses pay for trash pickup.

I have a business/warehouse in Compton, someone dumped a goat or deer carcus along with other things. The entire area smelled like a dead body for weeks. more recently a pickup truck, mattresses and other debris was dumped right in the middle of the street.
Now that's a woman who takes her work seriously. Just walking through the trash definitely helped with attention and to make a point. Although I would recommend NEVER do it again
