Hey Cody! As a fellow triathlete who has had MANY knee injuries throughout my life, I would suggest doing some strength training specifically focused on your gluteus medius and stabilizing muscles! Happy training :)
It honestly warms my heart to see how happy Cody has been since starting training. It really shows in his videos. I think that's what has motivated me the most. Just seeing him joyfully taking in his surroundings and making silly jokes. I obviously don't know the guy but I really feel so happy and proud of him.
saw this on some fit baddies insta but she said she walks backwards on a treadmill with an incline for 5 mins to help strengthen the muscles around the knee. Tried it the other day bc I have a bum knee, and 10/10 recommend. The insta baddies know what’s up.

Hey cody!! as others have mentioned strength training for your knee issues, part of being an ultra endurance athlete is cross training for injury prevention and stability and strength in your workouts! also, i would really consider going to a physical therapist for some help this will take a LOT of the guesswork out and you can get an actual picture of what is going on and recover way faster as your build strength up and know better going forward how to train smarter! you’re amazing love this content CHOO CHOO!

I’ve always hated running and as much as I did it I never improved, I started to follow an actual regimen training for a 5k and I love it and am excited to run because of the progress I’m making! 🚂🚂
when you climb stairs or use your knees to lift your body it puts immense pressure on your joints listen to your trainer and definitely avoid taking the stairs or heavy lifting!!

hi cody! i swam competitively for 10+ years and had some knee problems once i hit college. the whole swollen knee thing happened to me. physical therapist said it was my IT band - after every workout i'd roll it out and the swelling and weird pain went away :)
I remember learning that putting the treadmill on a slight incline, and then walking backwards can strengthen the knees. Not sure if this would be helpful in your case, but maybe ask your physical therapist or trainer about it?

Cody! The knee isn't going to miraculously rehab itself just by resting it, you need to see a specialist and get on a custom rehab plan.
