Dude, i love backpacking. I actually unfortunately got so big at one point (about 325) that a 6-7 mile hike made me almost pass out last year. For that and many other reasons i started getting serious about weight loss early this year and i've lost over 55 pounds. Went backpacking a couple weeks ago and i had lost more bodyweight than the pack weighed. We did about 11 miles in two days and felt great!
