The fact that this wasn't requested imho makes it more special because that means it is something you whole heartedly wanted to do. It's good that you listen to requests but it's alo important to just do whatever you want to do yourself and it really shows.

I hear Floor's pronunciations better than Daniel Kadawatha's. He still made a pretty song. Underrated, really.

Since I didn't know this song before, this is a Floor original for me. I think it's great. 😁
Floor is the only vocalist that gives me goosebumps every time she opens her mouth. It´s beyond me how that happens. Before discovering Floor I only got goosebumps once a blue moon. Now it´s very often several times during each and every song. There has to be some scientific explanation for this phenomena. Her voice is a neverending source of dopamine that never fades the more I listen. Beautiful cover!!

The first time I heard the crescendo in Ghost Love Score from the Wacken show my mouth was Agape like a fish and I had goosebumps all over. While it was not my first time listening to Floor, I had been listening to After Forever before she joined up with Nightwish. So I was familiar with her skills. I love After Forever's cover of Queen's "Who Wants to Live Forever"

I often hear her cover first, and then the original is terrible boredom :D
Most songs sounds like a karaoke version in comparison after Floor sings it. It's a blessing and a curse to have her cover your song.
The original is actually really damn good.
In this exceptional case, the original arrangement & performance sounds better to my ears. Although I love Floor´s voice, this arrangement sounds a bit empty of ideas

I'm not telling you anything you haven't heard for so many years. When I first heard you sing I was listen to a friends CD and he was playing After Forever. I was starting to get tears in my eyes because I was so overwhelmed by the beauty of your voice. I was trying not to let him see me and he said it was alright because he had the same experience. You have a unique and authentic quality about yourself that comes through in your voice when you sing. Its unlike anything being done today in any genre!!! You are special!! Truly special!! I've got a song that is very amazing in its own right that I would love to hear you cover. The song is Ripples by Genesis. Its off the album Trick of the Tail. In my opinion its the greatest song that Phil Collins sings. Its breathtaking to hear him do it and I'm positive that those of us who are admires of your voice would be " Floored" to hear you do it. You can ask me if i think that i fieel confortable doing songs from MPB or Bossa Nova, for example, and actually i would tell you a big NO, but now i know that is possible and its fun to feel free . You don't need any autotune or other things to make your voice sound perfect. You don't need any expensive special effects to make your video look amazing. Only your talent, hard work and creativity. And all of your covers (and not only covers!) clearly confirm that. They are a genius legacy of the true art for humanity forever!

Exactly this! I met an engineer/producer who was responsible for mixing the live vocal tracks of a then-massively-popular girl group for their live DVD releases (rhymes with "In Bogue"). He said he had nightmares trying to tune their terrible voices because their management didn't want to spend the time training the girls. The point is that every good engineer and producer knows that when you start with quality talent your job is at least 50% done for you.

I also want her to cover a Pantera song. I'd also like to seer her singing "Shattered", a very underrated song from the same album (in my opinion). There are barely any covers on CZcams, the best one I've seen so far is from Leo Jimenez. The song is full of high notes and I know she can pull it off easily.

The pure emotional content of that song just spills out on to the ground... Freddie, in his final days, challenging us all and literally pouring his soul into that song.
To this day, it still brings me to tears.

@@crazy16167 I also heard that cover quite some time ago. Sorry to say, but was not really impressed. It's not about the voices, but the arrangement of the cover was not appealing to me, something was missing, although I cannot tell exactly what it was. Maybe I need to revisit and listen again.
